Our Couple’s Story

Our fun couple met one evening at a nightclub Bryon was DJing at when Sybil requested a song. When Bryon flashed a dazzling smile at Sybil, it was the start of their long courtship! This is their second marriage, and they have a gorgeous blended family together! Currently, our cute couple has three charming children and ten bright grandchildren. They have been together for sixteen years and are celebrating their tenth marriage anniversary!

Their friends describe them as the funniest and happiest couple they know. You can see how true this is. Our Couple’s Story

Our couple’s story started when they met while Rachel was in nursing school. During this time, they talked, but it never came to anything. One year later, Cameron found Rachel on Facebook and messaged her. From there, they had a little banter, then met up for a brunch date. After this date, the rest was history!

Cameron and Rachel spent New Year’s in Charleston, South Carolina. While they were on this vacation, Cameron found the right moment to ask her to marry him. Rachel says it was absolutely perfect because it was just the two of them! We love how their Maui wedding was just as intimate as their proposal!

After living on Oahu, Hawaii has a special place in Cecilia and Harrison’s hearts. They were supposed to get married in 2020 but had to change their plans. Built in the 1800’s, Trinity by the Sea is full of rustic scenes. This venue is perfect for anyone who wants a vintage wedding with a dreamy twist! Our beautiful couple chose an impeccable location for their special day! The charming greenery surrounding them is vibrant, while the sensational brick wall is so whimsical! Above all, we love how these Rustic Hawaiian Ruins created a fairytale background for their sunset ceremony!

Our Couple’s Story

Cecilia and Harrison met at a restaurant Cecilia was working at and have been together since 2016! In 2018, they went on a cruise and got engaged in Halong Bay, Vietnam. Can you imagine someone popping the magic question somewhere with crisp blue water and striking mountains? After a breathtaking proposal like theirs, you can see why they wanted to have a Maui venue wedding!

They began planning out their union for May 2020. Unfortunately, COVID-19 caused them to change their plans drastically. Since they already had to postpone their big wedding, they wanted to make their wedding planning simple yet beautiful and intimate. This is where we came in to help coordinate the perfect Hawaii wedding! We were delighted to aid in making this sweet couple’s wedding day magical!

Currently, Harrison is a chef, while Cecilia is a restaurant manager but is transitioning to the insurance industry. You can find them cooking, going on walks, and spending time with their nephew in their spare time.

The Maui Beach Wedding

Jordan and Anna arrived at the shores of Ironwoods separately. First to arrive was Jordan and their wedding guests. Then, Anna gracefully walked down the shoreline with her mother by her side. The light-colored custom bouquet by Dellables went beautifully with our bride’s soft white wedding gown. We love how elegantly her hair is styled and how the veil is placed perfectly. Overall, she is an absolutely gorgeous bride!

The shores of Ironwoods set the backdrop for Anna and Jordan’s seaside wedding! As the foamy waves crashed on the ivory sand, our beautiful couple exchanged leis and vows. With the sparkling sun in the sky, this Northside beach created a heavenly scene for this heartwarming and intimate occasion.

Our Couple’s Story

Fate always works in strange ways — but it definitely knew what it was doing for Natasha and Asitamani! Their story began when they coincidentally met while driving on the freeway. When the time was right, this beautiful couple began dating. It was Halloween night in 2017 when they got engaged. The best part? They dressed up as werewolves! Our Couple’s Story

About a year ago, Gentrie and Brandon met in a church. It was love at first sight because they quickly knew they wanted to be together. Due to COVID, they quickly became best friends and companions to one another. Gentrie loves Christmas decorations and twinkling lights, so Brandon proposed to her at a winter wonderland! He popped the question under the vivid light show in Fredericksburg, Texas.

This couple balances each other out beautifully! While Brandon is simple, strong, and calming, Gentrie is corky, bubbly, and colorful! Although their personalities are opposite, they have the same values, beliefs, and hobbies.

Afterward, everyone gathered inside Gannon’s for a large reception.

On September 9, 2006, Syreeta and Jonathan tied the knot in Oahu. Taken with the Aloha spirit, they decided they would make another trip to Hawaii happen! Now for their 15th anniversary, they fulfilled the promise by having a Maui vow renewal!

The Maui Vow Renewal

Ironwoods beach was the location for this relaxed, elegant, and modern ceremony. With the sapphire water in the background, Syreeta made a breathtaking entrance onto the sandy shores! We love seeing the little moments in a ceremony. One of them was Jonathan’s warm expression when Syreeta walked down the shore. His eyes were full of love, he looked as if he saw her for the first time.

Our Couple’s Story

Syreeta and Jonathan first met when they were set up on a blind date in 2003. During that date, they felt an undeniable connection to each other! Then, they got engaged in 2004. Two years later, they got married at the Kahala Hotel in Honolulu. After their wedding, this happy couple realized how much they loved Hawaii. It made them want to come back and explore a new island. So fifteen years later, they returned to the Aloha state and had their vow renewal in Maui!

Currently, Syreeta is an owner of an event planning company and Jonathan is a business owner. They have three children named Troy, Samantha, and Jalen. On the next visit, they plan on exploring Hawaii with their children. Lastly, as their parent’s caregivers, they spend a lot of time with family. When it’s just them, you’ll find them at a beach down near Delaware at their favorite restaurant.

There are so many sweet moments in this photoshoot. We can’t believe this is a fifteen-year renewal because they are just as radiant and ecstatic as pair of newlyweds! Above all, their delightful glow is our favorite thing about them!

Our Couple’s Story

Jessica and Jered have been good friends since they were teenagers. They went on a few friend dates before they realized that they were destined to be more. The shock that these longtime friends were soulmates is what motivated them to get married. Jered popped the question while they were right next to Illumination Rock on Mount Hood — Jessica didn’t hesitate to say yes.

Kristen and Kaylyn’s Maui beach wedding was beautiful in so many ways. With just family watching on and the panoramic view of the ocean in the backdrop, this day was beyond special. From a surprise beach-clearing event that left just the wedding party on the shore to a bursting sunset, this was truly a blessed occasion. 

The Maui Beach Wedding

Reverend Kuya opened the Maui beach wedding with the traditional blowing of the conch shell. Wearing gowns that complemented each other, Kristen and Kaylyn were visions on the beach. The day was windy, which added gorgeous movement to their trains. Shortly after the sweet ceremony, the sky opened up and it began to rain. It was a brief sprinkling, but it caused the beachgoers to pack up and leave. The result was a beach just to ourselves. 

Our Couple’s Story

Kristen and Kaylyn are both veterinarians and met on the job. Their connection was instant, but their love blossomed with time. Kaylyn asked Kristen to marry her during a romantic picnic at a national park in Ohio. She hid the ring in the basket and Kristen discovered it while she was unpacking the blanket.
