This ceremony was an all-family affair! Nate’s brother was his best man, while Rachel’s sister was her maid of honor. Then all eighteen wedding guests were their loved ones. It was so heartwarming to see people dear to our passionate pair come together to celebrate their adoration for one another! The Intimate Maui Venue Wedding

One of our favorite things about this wedding is how Nathan and Rachel provided their own minister! Our captivating couple’s pastor was the officiant for their ceremony, and he delivered a heartwarming sermon. To make this tradition even more intimate, he asked Nathan and Rachel to share what they love about one another. It was such a sweet addition to hear these words from our affectionate pair!

However, we adore how breathtaking the scene was! Gannon’s lush palm trees and fairytale-like greenery created a dreamy backdrop. Since the sun was sitting in its golden hour, its rays left a soft glow on the lawn — enhancing the romantic ambiance! Above all, you can see the sweeping ocean views and dramatic lava rocks in every shot. This picturesque venue was perfect for this Maui wedding!

A Formal Dress Code at a Maui Wedding Venue

We love Kiley & Christopher’s chic wedding style. Chris and his groomsmen wore tuxedos, which elevated their entire aesthetic. And of course, Kiley looked amazing too! She wore a glamorous gown complete with Hollywood curls and a graceful veil.

They chose to marry at Gannon’s, a golf course setting in Wailea. It has great ocean views and pristine landscaping. These two would have looked incredible anywhere, but the ceremony’s idyllic setting perfectly matched their upscale look!

About This Couple

This love story spans across the globe! Christopher is originally from Germany and met Kiley during a semester abroad at her university in the U.S. They lived in Australia for a couple years, and that’s where they got engaged back in 2019.

Now these love birds call California home. And of course, they invited guests from all over the world to celebrate their love at this Maui Wedding Venue. Since they couldn’t bring all their loved ones to Hawaii with them, they were sure to get plenty of photos to share with friends and family who were there in spirit.

When we have a ceremony at a Maui Wedding Venue, we often have to relocate to a nearby beach to get great sunset shots. But Kiley & Christopher didn’t have to chase sunsets for their portraits. Instead, the beautiful sunset glow came to them, right at Gannon’s!

Brittany & Dane are such a vibrant, beautiful couple, it was only fitting that they had a colorful Hawaii wedding! Their smiles were brighter than the sunlight that streamed through the palm trees, and we loved the heartfelt vows they shared during their ceremony.

About This Couple

Brittany & Dane traveled from Las Vegas to tie the knot. Dane is actually from Maui originally and moved to the ninth island to go to college. The adorable pair first got in touch on Instagram and then met in person a couple of months later. So it seems to be a match made in Instagram, but is actually a match made in heaven!

When they got engaged in May 2020, Covid restrictions kept them from celebrating with their friends and family. So Dane proposed in front of the family wall at their home – it’s where they keep photos of all their loved ones.

Luckily they were able to have their Hawaii wedding surrounded by their friends and family. It was a joy to spend the morning with the entire group, but we especially loved getting to know Brittany & Dane!

A Dreamy Hawaii Wedding Location

Brittany & Dane chose the Rustic Hawaiian Ruins as their wedding location, and it was the perfect setting for this dazzling couple. It’s a garden setting that’s only a few minutes from the beach. It allowed us to get portraits around the lush venue AND the bright blue shoreline.

Last week we got to be a part of Lauren & Ronnie’s Maui Wedding — it was such a joy! This cute couple traveled all the way from Washington, D.C., where they work hard and enjoy life with their adorable Golden Retriever. They’ve visited Maui multiple times before and couldn’t imagine marrying anywhere else. We love how their wedding turned out and can’t get over how cute they are!

Watching the Skies

We spent most of Saturday worrying about the weather. It was a cloudy day and we really didn’t want Lauren and Ronnie to have a rainy ceremony.

Everything turned out great, though. The clouds provided some relief from Hawaii’s hot sun, and they didn’t bring in the showers that we feared. But now that we’ve seen how sweet Lauren & Ronnie are, we know that they will be by each other’s side, rain or shine.

Speaking of shine, we didn’t only have cloudy skies at their Maui wedding. Once we headed down to the beach for some couple’s portraits, the setting sun burst through the clouds and lit the entire sky in beautiful colors. It was something out of a fairy tale!

Capturing Each Memory At This Maui Wedding

Karma Hill Photography captured amazing pictures from the ceremony, and then they got all those jaw-dropping sunset shots at the beach. But they weren’t done yet! They went back to Gannon’s with the newlyweds to capture a few reception shots.

We love when couples add photography time for their receptions because it allows us to see more of their wedding day’s story. Under twinkling cafe lights and Maui’s twinkling stars, Lauren & Ronnie shared their first dance as husband and wife.

We also got to see their father & mother dance, plus their fun twist on a cake cutting!

We loved every minute of this wedding, and we’re sending lots of love to Lauren & Ronnie. Congratulations, you two!!

Sydney & Tristan were so lovely at their Hawaii venue wedding. Surrounded by lush tropical plants and a small group of loved ones, they wed in a memorable and elegant ceremony. Heartfelt Vows

Sydney & Tristan wrote their own vows, which we absolutely love. This allowed them to fully express their commitment to each other, and it allowed us to get a better glimpse into their life together.

We can tell that they’re an amazing couple who put a lot of love and energy into their relationship. And now that they have had a beautiful Hawaii Venue Wedding, their best days are still ahead of them!

A Hawaii Venue Wedding with Beach Portraits

This wedding took place at the Rustic Hawaiian Ruins — a private location in Kihei. It’s a quiet spot under swaying palm trees that has plenty of parking and lots of seating for guests. The newlyweds got beautiful portraits at the venue, and then we headed to the beach for some sunset photos.

It had been a long day of wedding prep, but as Sydney & Tristan slipped off their shoes and stepped onto the cool sand, they were instantly recharged and full of laughter. We’re so happy we got to see this side of them!

Sydney & Tristan were blessed with a beautiful Maui sunset. The purple and pink hues reflected on the calm waters — it was a photographer’s dream! The pair slowed down and took in the majestic sight after their Hawaii Venue Wedding, and now they get to relive it through these beautiful portraits. A few days before this sunset occasion, Elizabeth, Thomas, and their four kids arrived in Maui and had a mini family vacation! After their Hawaii wedding, their children returned home so our gorgeous duo could celebrate their honeymoon.

Our Couple’s Story

Clarice and Erwin’s story began fifteen years ago! Our delightful duo met in the parking lot of Clarice’s job while Erwin was chatting with her manager. After this, Clarice and Erwin were inseparable, so they started dating!

Their engagement was simple — just like their Maui venue wedding! Clarice and Erwin were already on vacation, so Erwin thought it was a great time to buy a ring. Then, while they were in Maui, they decided to announce the big news on Instagram!

This trip wasn’t Krista and Derek’s first time in Hawaii. Krista has been visiting since she was five years old! She and Derek have also traveled to the Aloha State many times together. However, Maui is their favorite island! They have had many unforgettable experiences here, so it was no surprise they decided to tie the knot at this destination. Most importantly, we’re glad we could be part of another remarkable memory in paradise!

Our Couple’s Story

Krista and Derek’s story began when they met in a country bar! Our lovely couple immediately hit it off, so they two-stepped the night away. After this night, they were inseparable!

They got engaged while visiting Krista’s family on Vancouver Island for a fishing trip. Derek attached a flasher to her rod, and it said, “You are the catch of a lifetime. Will you marry me?” When Krista reeled in her line to head some, she saw the message! Then, she turned around to see Derek on one knee. Krista says it was a memorable moment and a creative engagement!

Isaac and the guests were the first to arrive at Merriman’s. Then, when it was time, the wedding procession began. Once the bridal party was at the front, our bride made her grand entrance. Hatice walked down the aisle with her sister by her side! 

When our delightful duo stood together, you could tell there was no one else they’d rather have beside them! Isaac and Hatice’s faces were full of nothing but radiant smiles and loving looks!

Isaac and Hatice have been together for six years! He proposed to her in Colorado while they were skiing. Our adventurous duo was at the top of the mountain when Isaac popped the question!

Why We Love Their Maui Venue Wedding

Merriman’s Kapalua was the location for this event, and this spot provided us with breathtaking scenes! Silky clouds and the setting sun’s luminous glow were decorating the sky. Then the lush lawn and lofty palm trees created a magical landscape. However, we adore how exquisite the circle arch is with the vivid greenery. It enhances the dreamy ambiance and makes this ceremony look like a tropical fairytale!

Our Couple’s Story

Fate was working overtime when Haily and Hugo met! In November 2016, Haily moved to Maui because she got a new job. Then in February 2017, Hugo visited the island with his mother, brother, and brother’s girlfriend to celebrate his mom’s birthday! After his brother mentioned a dating app, Hugo decided to try it during his vacation.

Once Haily and Hugo both swiped right on each other, Hugo messaged her to make a connection. Then, one day later, they met up at Canoe Beach! From there, they never stopped talking. Then in 2018, Haily moved back to California to be closer to Hugo and her family.

The weather forecast said it was supposed to rain all day, but lucky for us, it didn’t. It’s almost as if this Maui venue wedding was meant to be!

Their one-year-old daughter was the flower girl! Although she got a little fussy during the ceremony, she was nothing but smiles when she was in her parents’ arms. You can tell Haily and Hugo are great parents to their little one!

Lastly, Gannon’s created the perfect scene for this sunset occasion. The sweeping ocean views, lush lawn, and enchanting greenery made this ceremony feel like a tropical fairytale! Our Couple’s Story

Matt and Sarah first met one another while working at Walgreens in 2013. At the time, he was sent to Chicago on a specific assignment by Boots, a drugstore in the United Kingdom. First, our delightful duo became friends and occasionally met up.

Then in 2018, Matt and Sarah grew closer! Once our passionate pair realized there was something more, so they started a long-distance relationship. After spending 2019 traveling the world together, they had no doubts they wanted to spend their lives together! Finally, in December 2020, Matt popped the magic question. While Sarah was visiting Matt at his home in the United Kingdom — he proposed!

Our radiant newlyweds had a Hawaii venue wedding because they wanted a small celebration! Maui was the perfect location because it’s beautiful, and our adventurous duo could also spend their honeymoon on the island.

King Kamehameha Golf Club created a dreamy scene for this event. Decorating the sky was a soft spectrum of colors as the sun continued to set on the horizon. Then the Kahalawai Terrace provided us with a fairytale backdrop! You can see the breathtaking views, cerulean ponds, and lofty trees in every shot. Above all, we like how this large lawn had plenty of space for all seventy-five wedding guests!

This beautiful duo wanted to incorporate jumping the broom, a black tradition, to make it more personal to them!
