Katy & Matt said “I do” on Po’olenalena Beach ten years ago … and this month they celebrated their diamond anniversary with a Maui vow renewal on the very same shore.
The couple remarked that not only were the date and location a perfect match to the original ceremony, but the weather was identical as well! It’s almost as if the couple had transcended time. Only now they had two beautiful cherubs in tow!

Ecstatic to be back on the island, Katy and Matt were hoping to spend more time exploring the hidden locales and relaxing in the breeze. They also looked forward to watching the humpbacks splash in the ocean.
In fact, that’s one reason the couple decided to have their wedding in January. The koholā (Humpback whales) migrate to the islands in the early winter months. And like the majestic whales, this family’s radiance was a sight to behold!

Katy describes the island of Maui as her happy place, her “Disney World.” And looking at these pics of their children having a blast during the ceremony … we think it’s safe to say that the kids feel the same.

This stunning shot overlooking the waterfront has us utterly floored. What a showstopping capture of the beautiful couple and the mirrored oasis. It’s a blissful image perfectly suited for such a special anniversary, symbolizing all that has been and all that has yet to come …

“Cherubs” truly is the only way to describe these two … We’re smitten!

Thank you, Katy and Matt, for allowing us to share in your special day. We wish your family all the happiness and whale splashes in the decades to come …

For this breathtaking Maui Elopement, Alice & Matthew said “I do” with the aqua glimmers and tropical greenery of Southside Beach setting the stage. Hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, this was the couple’s first trip to Maui–and what a first it was!
Alice and Matthew embarked on their Hawaiian adventure with a trip to the Big Island. Famous for its lush rainforests, the Big Island receives upwards of 10 feet of rain a year … and this year was no exception. The couple had to extend their stay on the Big Island an additional 24 hours due to the weather and worried their Maui wedding would be greeted with a similar downpour … But their special day was graced with clear skies and enchanting panoramic views!

The tender love between this couple blew us away. From their soft and intimate gazes to the touching moment when Matthew delicately wiped tears from his bride’s cheek … we were absolutely enchanted by their love story.

In graceful simplicity, Alice kept her jewelry to a minimum, wearing only a golden statement necklace to highlight her natural beauty.
Matthew presented her with the stunning piece during their stay on the Big Island … and we think it’s perfectly suited for his bride. The sacred hihimanu (also known as Hawaiian ray) means “magnificent” or “elegant bird” and is used to describe a woman filled with grace and otherworldly beauty. And looking at these captures, it’s abundantly clear that Alice is its picture-perfect embodiment …

Alice and Matthew’s Special Day ended in an exquisite sunset of rose and plum. It’s said that purple symbolizes perfection … and looking at this beautiful couple, we’d have to agree.

Mahalo nui loa, Alice & Matthew for selecting us to help plan your Maui Elopement. We wish you many more perfect days in the years to come!

With their closest family in attendance and the rolling waves of Ironwoods setting the stage, Sharon & Michael’s Maui beach elopement was an event to remember! And, of course, the couple was sure to include their “best girl” in the ceremony.
As a specially trained guide dog, Nav can perform a variety of intricate tasks… including bearing the couple’s wedding rings! We always love when couples interweave personal touches within their ceremony. It’s a great way to celebrate unique lifestyles and add that extra “wow” element. And precious Nav (with a ring pouch attached to her collar) not only added that “wow” but also the “aww!”

Reverend Peter Dagupion officiated the wedding, enriching the affair with sacred Hawaiian ceremonial traditions. It’s hard to summarize the intensely moving experience of being enveloped in the rich, tonal vibrations of Hawaiian chants and the blowing of the pu (conch shell). What a suiting way to solidify such such a joyous union!

We adored how Sharon’s gown beautifully mirrored the splashes of the sea. With a flowing fit that waved in the breeze and a sprinkling of gems that glimmered in the light of the late afternoon, Sharon evoked visions of a water nymph adorned in the foam of the tide.

Later, the couple slipped away after the ceremony for some dramatic yet intimate couple’s portraits atop the cliffside of Ironwoods. Few beach wedding locations are as striking. With the roaring ocean and Lānaʻi fading into the background, these captures are absolutely unforgettable!

We’re obsessed with the regal yet intimate ambiance of Jacquelyn & Kyle’s Wailea beach wedding in Maui. The bride and groom clearly have an eye for detail, lacing unique and personal touches throughout the affair and layering the sentimental with the sophisticated, making for a ceremony that’s impossible to forget.
Together for over a decade, Jacquelyn and Kyle first met when their fathers casually introduced them. The act was innocent and between colleagues, both dads simply wanting to get to know the other’s family and form a deeper friendship … little did they know the bond it would forge wouldn’t just be between them! The moment the couple met there was “instant chemistry,” as Jacquelyn’s father so lovingly put it during his reception toast. And looking over these vivid captures, that instant chemistry is clearly still steaming in its beaker!

The bride and groom took in the views of the Wailea coast as they prepped for the occasion in the spacious rooms of the 5-star Fairmont Kea Lani hotel.

As an utterly heartfelt symbol of honor and love, Jacquelyn found precious ways to include her late mother into the ceremony with a picture charm for her bouquet and a framed portrait of her mother on her wedding day…
We were beyond touched and took care to capture these poignant details.

We treasured capturing this mother-and-daughters shot… Jacquelyn’s sister, Liz, acted as her bridesmaid, holding her hand as they walked down to the Polo beach ceremony and ensuring that all was as perfect as could be.
These sisters are so intertwined, in fact, that it was on Liz’s wedding day when Kyle first proposed to Jacquelyn. The morning of the ceremony, Kyle swept her away to a special waterfall in the mountains… but it wasn’t just any waterfall…
Jacquelyn’s mother had often taken her to that very spot and the memories of the rushing waters and rich earthy smells have always held a special place in her heart. With the majestic sprays misting the air between them, Kyle asked Jacquelyn to be his wife… and the rest of the story follows…

On the breezy shores of Ironwoods and set against a shimmering waterfront, Kayla Jo & John tied the knot in an intimate Kapalua Beach wedding. This gorgeous New York couple hand-selected elements of rustic flair and timeless glamour, perfectly pairing the polished style of their hometown with the lively nature of the tropics.
Flooded with natural light and vivid blooms, Ironwoods is situated north of Kāʻanapali and overlooks the statuesque cliffs of the West Maui Mountains. One of the most unforgettable locales on Maui, the embankment that curves around the backside of Lahaina makes for an earth-moving experience that’s rarely seen by the casual visitor. And because of the gallantry of this stunning couple, we were able to capture some of the most spectacular poses on the cliffscapes that we’ve ever seen!

Reverend Kuya Alamodin officiated the ceremony, opening with the deep, reverberating call of the Hawaiian conch shell. The pu (conch shell) is used in Hawaiian culture to offer heavenly respect and bless the affair with holy mana.

To the tune of “Marry Me” and watched on by close family, Kayla Jo made her debut while linking arms with her proud father.

We loved capturing the intimate and sincere moments between the couple.

Who could not be inspired by this radiant beauty? Adorned in a haku lei and carrying one of our rustic Hawaiian bouquets, Kayla Jo takes our breath away.
From the pearly shimmer of her gown’s bodice to the silken flow of her beach-ready hair, we’re left wide-eyed as we soak in her otherworldly grace that was so exquisitely captured in these shots.

Excuse us while we collect our jaws from the floor…

We thought it was extra special that the couple created a personal sign to use during the session. A friend hand-lettered across their favorite album by Tim McGraw. Not only is “Shotgun Rider” their wedding song, but they also attended one of his concerts on a date… how incredibly sentimental!

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the couple shared a few embraces on the cliffscape…

And as we said earlier, the session was breathtaking!

Thank you, Kayla Jo & John for making us a part of your unforgettable Kapalua beach Wedding… We wish you all the happiness in the years to come…

Lahaina Shores offers some of the most breathtaking westside views, so when Erin & Tyler selected it as the stage for their cozy and sociable beach wedding on Maui, we knew we were in for a special treat. Hailing from Bakersfield, California, this tenderhearted couple makes it a tradition to visit Maui once a year …
Only this year, things were a little different. With a bundle of love on the way, the bride and groom spun the annual visit into a festivity to remember. With close family there to witness, the couple said “I do” on golden sands and framed against a sweeping seascape.

Officiating the ceremony was Richardo Hanako’o. Always spirited and jolly, Richardo kept the couple amused as he delivered his wise insights on love and devotion.

We adored how the bride took some special time away to capture treasured photos with her niece. These will surely be passed on for generations to come.

Sporting the most adorable baby-bump, Erin pulls off the maiden dress and then some. From the wave of her sunlit hair to the rippling effect of her flowing gown, Erin evokes all the allure of a Roman goddess. It’s as if she just materialized out of the tide…

A good-luck misting of rain blessed the couple before the day gave way to a brilliant splash of Prussian and cobalt blues. What a spectacular way to welcome what’s sure to be a limitless union…

Thank you, Erin and Tyler for choosing us to capture your gorgeous and intimate beach wedding on Maui. Sending you and your little one our fondest aloha… We look forward to one day capturing her beautiful smile…

Resting against the Lahaina mountains, the Dragon Fruit Farm set the stage for Taylor and Taylor’s open-air Hawaii venue wedding. Flooded in natural light, the spacious courtyard overlooked the waterfront and gifted the guests with a spectacular view of the island of Lānaʻi.
Together for over a decade, these high school sweethearts not only share the same name, but it’s as if they also share the same heart. Earnest, true, and limitless — with each sincere and intimate gesture, this couple had our hearts fluttering along with theirs.

Bohemian chic with a dash of country, Taylor was glowing in her ivory gown. Accented with only a single pearl paired with her dewy-complexion and sparkling smile, she made for the ultimate naturalistic bride, nymph-like and casting magic with her every glance.

If there was ever proof that true love exists, it would be the tender expressions shared between these two …

With a close friend ordaining the ceremony, the couple shared their first kiss as husband and wife under a stately arch embellished with sprays of silver-dollar eucalyptus.

After saying “I do,” the couple retreated to the shoreline where we captured some of the most fairy-like beach wedding portraits we’ve ever seen! Gilded in golden light with the steel-blue seascape in the backdrop, the couple emanated all the enchantment of a MidSummer’s Eve.

Is it just us, or are there two interconnected hearts floating in the clouds above this luminous couple? Or maybe it’s just the hearts in our eyes we’re seeing …

The couple followed the ceremony with an intimate outdoor reception, complete with yard games and catering by Three’s Bar and Grill food truck. It was truly a ceremony to remember!

Together for nearly two decades, Cassandra and Scott flew in from their California hometown for this breezy Maui destination wedding. On the powder-soft sands of Southside Beach and enveloped in an abundance of love, the couple tied the knot in a ceremony that was equal parts tropical-chic and carefree.
We were charmed with how Scott had his bride-to-be laughing throughout the occasion. It was clear that “two decades” was just a ripple in the endless sea of this couple’s love story.

Kahu Euta ordained over the reception, and with his passionate nature, you can always count on smiles paired with deep insights on love, family, and culture.

We loved how Cassandra selected a gown that showcased her spectacular skin-art and accented her graceful shoulders and neckline. And can we take a second to draw attention to Scott’s utterly adoring expression here? We’re swooning along with him!

After a few wise and poignant words from Kahu Euta, the couple said “I do” as the gentle white waters churned in the backdrop.

After the ceremony, the couple strolled down the sandy shore for some quiet moments of reflection and candid couple shots.

Although the week had been overcast and misty, a spectacular sunset of creams and honey graced the sky on this couple’s Special Day. It made for an enchanting sight to behold, casting the couple’s natural beauty in a glowing radiance.
In fact, it was the first Hawaiian sunset Cassandra and Scott had the pleasure of seeing in person — and what a special first!

We were swept away by the endlessly romantic Maui venue wedding of Jessica & Matthew. Gannon’s set the stage for this dreamy ceremony, just a stone’s throw away from the Emerald Golf Course in Wailea.
Humpback whales splashed in the shimmering ocean backdrop as the guests located their seats. And although the ceremony started out slightly overcast, when Jessica began her walk down the aisle, the clouds parted, allowing the sun to cascade down on her gentle smile. It was a suiting metaphor for the boundless love that radiates between these two.
Blooms of blush, tropical pinks and palms added a touch of whimsy to this impeccably polished ceremony. And speaking of whimsy, Kahu Richardo Hanako’o ordained the wedding ceremony, gracing the couple with his wise words and contagious laughter.
We loved how the garments of the bride’s squad perfectly married their unique styles with the overarching theme. Exquisitely matched in a single shade of subdued coral, each member showcased his or her own flair with bold straps and jacket choices.

To tie it all up, the day closed with a breathtaking sunset that was vividly mirrored in the gentle waves of White Rock beach. Piercing golden rays illuminated the couple’s silhouette and the melodic sounds of the ocean kept tempo with their warm embraces.
And yet … while the locale was stunning, it simply couldn’t compare to the beauty of this radiant couple. Mahalo, Jessica and Matthew for choosing us to capture your treasured Maui destination wedding …

Vibrant, stunning, beautiful—Few words could better describe the jaw-dropping Maui wedding of Anna & George. From the tender smile of the flower girl to the delicate details of the bejeweled accessories, this couture ceremony added a whole new dimension to the modern wedding. The Four Seasons in the heart of Wailea set the stage for a breezy outdoor venue that was luminous with lush greens and the subtle rays of the warm Maui sun.
Ordaining over the ceremony was the inspiring and joyous Hawaiian Kahu Richardo Hanako’o. With Richardo, there’s always laughter and smiles. The couple then exchanged touching vows which beautifully encapsulated their love and brought tears to their guests’ eyes.
Draped in a stylish mermaid gown with lace details, Anna radiated a confident and romantic spirit, which is only to be expected during such a gorgeous celebration. We love how her glowing entourage of luminous bridesmaids were wrapped in a dusky rose that perfectly complemented the blush of the breathtaking bride.

Our eyes and hearts were dancing along with the stunning couple as they celebrated their union to the tune of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” and “White Sandy Beach.” The love they have for each other shone so brightly it was impossible to miss. This is clearly just the beginning.

Karen and Zach told us they wanted their wedding to be relaxed and simple, yet elegant. We think that is EXACTLY what it turned out to be! Having a Maui beach wedding was relaxed and simple. Their gorgeous bridal attire, floral and mini reception at the Four Seasons afterward were elegant as can be.

This darling duo met in High School in Alaska through a mutual friend and have been together ever since! They LOVE traveling and have been to Hawaii many times and consider it a very special place for them. They got engaged on top of the Sydney Harbor Bridge in Australia last year and look forward to future travels together as husband and wife!

It was a perfect evening for a Maui beach wedding. The lighting was gorgeous and the trade winds calm. They were surrounded by their immediate family who showed their support and love. We loved how they had all their guests arrive before them and then made an entrance to the ceremony together. That’s the great thing about a beach wedding, you don’t have to follow the traditional rules, you can make it whatever you want it to be.
They also brought some dried petals in poppers for photos afterward, we love the way it turned out!

Thank you, Karen & Zach, for sharing your day with us, we are honored you chose us to be a part of your Maui wedding!

The sun was shining, the sky was blue; it was the perfect day for a Hawaii Wedding. Our bride and groom were happy, relaxed and ready to say “I do” atop Gannon’s Grassy knoll.

Emily and Daniel met in college where they were both studying Chemical Engineering. We knew they were smart for choosing a Maui wedding, but they are both also super-geniuses in their everyday life. Emily is a quality engineer for diagnostics consumable manufacturing, and Daniel is a post-doctorate fellow on batteries research. Wow!
They already had a family vacation to Maui scheduled and when they got engaged they decided to turn the vacation into a destination Hawaii wedding. Having both never been to Hawaii before, they wanted to show off the tropical beauty in their photos with lots of palm trees and ocean views.

After their ceremony, the couple captured photos with their guests then took advantage of the gorgeous surroundings at Gannon’s for couples portraits before heading to their intimate reception at the restaurant. What a lovely evening for a lovely couple. Thank you, Emily and Daniel, for trusting us to help plan your Maui wedding, we loved being a part of it!
