Our Couple’s Story

This passionate couple’s story began when Josie’s best friend, who was also David’s co-worker, introduced them. When the time was right, David popped the question to Josie on Cannon Beach. Currently, they have five charming kids and two delightful dogs! In their spare time, you can find them spending time with friends and family, cooking, or appreciating the outdoors!

Our radiant newlyweds decided to have a destination wedding in Maui because of David’s strong connection with the islands. Since our handsome groom lived in Oahu as a kid, Hawaii is his happy place! Not to mention, our breathtaking bride loves everything about Maui! They knew this location would be the best spot to join their families and create unforgettable Hawaiian memories with their children.

Our Couple’s Story

Susan and Mike first met one another on a popular online dating website. They chatted on the phone and texted with one another before they met in person. Our delightful couple had their first date on a Tuesday, then had their second on a Thursday. After this, the rest was history! Nine years later, they are still so smitten with each other and can’t believe they found their perfect match!

Our adventurous duo decided to have a Hawaii beach elopement because they’ve been together for so long. Why We Adore Their Hawaii Beach Wedding

Intimate, carefree, and enchanting are the first words we think of when we see Marisa and Jason’s special day! When we arrived, we found a secluded corner on the beach for the ceremony. Our Couple’s Story

Currently, Marisa and Jason have been together for six and a half years! For the past three years, our lovely couple has been living abroad in Ireland. During COVID, they would visit a nearby castle ruin, Kilcrea Castle, to let their kitty explore and get fresh air. One day, they went back to their spot, and Jason popped the question at the top of the tower!

In March 2021, right after they got engaged, they moved back to Oregan. Now, they plan on purchasing a house and starting a new family! Katy and Kevin arrived at the ceremony lawn together. Our bride & groom made a breathtaking entrance side by side. Their faces were full of nothing but pure bliss as they walked down the aisle! Our lovely couple’s two sons stood by Kevin while their three daughters stood by Katy.

The Lighthearted Maui Venue Wedding

Katy and Kevin’s special day was fun, passionate, and magical! Reverend Kuya was the officiant, and he delivered a sermon with a delightful message. He was high-spirited and energetic throughout the ceremony and even made our joyful couple smile a few times! Then when it was time for music, Oren from Barefoot Minded played songs fitting the mood on his ukulele. His soothing tunes only enhanced the romantic ambiance created by this magnificent venue!

Setting the scene for this wedding was the Makai lawn at the Hyatt Regency. The sun was in its golden hour and shined warmly on the lush grass, making this event feel like a fairytale! Being only one step away from Ka’anapali Beach, you can see the ocean sparkling dreamily in the background. We like this venue because of how spacious it is. There was plenty of room for all thirty-three guests to sit comfortably and view the ceremony!

We love Katy’s custom bouquet by Dellables! You can see how the soft neutral tones balance flawlessly with the rich blush and mauve hues. Our bride made a great decision with this arrangement. It is fresh and boho — ideal for a fall venue wedding in Maui!

Our Couple’s Story

Nicole and Steve’s first met when they swiped right for another on a dating app. When the moment was perfect, Steve popped the question on a rocky outcrop at a beach in Carmel, California. After learning about their engagement, we knew a Maui venue wedding would be right up their alley! This visit was their first time in Hawaii, and now this island will always be dear to them.

Currently, Steve is a Building Automation Engineer, while Nicole is a Market Research Analyst. These radiant newlyweds have two sweet daughters: one is five years old, and the other is three months. In their free time, you’ll find Steve playing video games and Nicole curling up with a good book!

Our Couple’s Story

Megan and Kenneth’s story started when they met on a dating app. Our delightful couple had an instant connection because of their many commonalities! In September 2019, they moved in together and combined their families. Then, in March 2020, Kenneth and Megan bought a new house! This lovely blended family was supposed to travel to Hawaii for Spring Break in 2020. Due to COVID, they had to postpone their trip until November 2021. Our Couple’s Story

Melanie is a touring bass player in the Boise, ID area. In 2015, Taylor first met Melanie at one of her shows in downtown Boise. When the concert was over, he approached her at the merchandise booth, and they chatted for a while! They had their first date on August 5, 2015! Then, on May 17, 2021, Taylor proposed on the patio of their favorite Mexican spot with the soft sunset above them. It was just like their Maui beach wedding: low-key, sweet, and simple!

DT Fleming Beach created a magical scene with its cerulean waves, beige sand, and vibrant greenery surrounding the shore. Everything about this wedding was enchanting — from Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o’s heartfelt sermon to Oren Masserman’s soothing ukulele melodies! Our favorite thing is our delightful bride and groom’s attire. We love how elegant and chic Brooke and Matt look!

Our Couple’s Story

Brooke and Matt’s story began when they met at a hospital they worked together at in Austin, Texas. Then two years later, they moved to Portland, Oregon, to be closer to family. Matt popped the question to Brooke in October 2020 in front of her sister’s family and their dogs! It was a special moment for our lovely couple because their four-legged friends were part of it!

Currently, Brooke is a Registered Nurse, and Matt is an Emergency Room Doctor. They have three dogs but plan to have more someday! Recently, they bought 8.5 acres of land and are planning to build their dream house there. We hope your home is full of sweet animals and portraits from your wedding in Maui!

When Mallory and Daniel got engaged, they had no idea their engagement would be longer than expected. After planning this occasion three times, we’re glad they could have their perfect Maui venue wedding! Our delightful couple’s special day was worth the wait because it was exquisite. This event began with Daniel and the ten wedding guests going to the ceremony lawn. Then Mallory made her grand entrance with her father by her side! Karma Hill Photography effortlessly captured this magical moment and many more during the ceremony. We adore this shot! You can see the admiration on our handsome groom’s face when he sets his eyes on his breathtaking bride.

When the minister, Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o, started his sermon, you could see the undeniable happiness on Mallory’s face! She makes such a beautiful bride, and her joyous glow adds to it! Most importantly, we hope some of these romantic portraits decorate the walls of our alluring couple’s new home!

Why They Had A Maui Venue Wedding

On 03/28/2020, Daniel popped the question while our charming couple was hiking with their friends. They got engaged when the pandemic first started, but they did not know how long it would last. When Mallory and Daniel began planning their special day, was when they first found Simple Maui Wedding. And they immediately knew they wanted to work with us! 

Our stunning couple was supposed to tie the knot on 11/17/2020, but they had to cancel because of COVID. After this, Mallory and Daniel attempted to plan more weddings on the mainland. Unfortunately, nothing ever felt right for them. The third time was when our gorgeous bride and groom knew they wanted to make their destination wedding a reality! Finally, everything worked out flawlessly. Our lovely couple became newlyweds on 11/17/2021!

The Hyatt Regency’s Japengo Lawn set the stage for this intimate venue wedding in Maui! Fluffy clouds were covering the blue sky, but they didn’t dim the sun’s brilliant rays. You can see how the soaring palm trees and the sapphire ocean create an enchanting scene! We like how the circle arch with foliage makes this venue look as if it’s out of a fairytale! Above all, we can’t picture this passionate pair tying the knot anywhere else because everything about this ceremony is captivating!
