With loved ones surrounding them, this bride and groom were so excited to be getting married at their Maui Outdoor Wedding. And seriously though what could be better than having a ceremony right by the ocean?! With the sand beneath their feet and waves crashing nearby, Shannon and David were more than ready to say “I do” in paradise.
How They Met
From the moment David turned around to see Shannon walking towards him, it was easy to see that she really is the love of his life! And we are so glad these two found each other all those years ago in college. They were actually neighbors in their dorm! They had both just arrived, unpacked, left their rooms and met in the elevator. And they’ve been together ever since!

This couple chose to get married here because they love the ocean and wanted a ceremony by the beach. So a 5 Palms Maui Wedding was perfect! This setting could not be more amazing since it is literally nestled right up to the sand and overlooks the most amazing blue water. Saying, “I do” here would literally be something out of a dream!
When planning their wedding Karina and Jeremy described it as simple, relaxed, tropical, fun and special. And it definitely was all of those things! These two were seriously so relaxed and so excited to be getting married. Plus their wedding guests were just all so happy to be in Maui to celebrate with them!
Karina and Jeremy have been together ever since meeting at a hop festival and hitting it off while dancing. So how could they not have dancing at their 5 Palms Maui Wedding? We love that our newlyweds not only shared their first dance as husband and wife on the grassy lawn, but that they also invited a hula dancer to join them. What a great way to make a Maui Venue Wedding even more festive, and their guests all loved it!

After getting married in June at home in Austria, this couple was excited to experience a more intimate ceremony with a Maui Beach Elopement. While they loved celebrating with family and friends, they also wanted to celebrate their love with a relaxed, carefree and romantic evening in Hawaii. And we are so glad they did!
Ready for Adventure
Anita and Christian met 5 years ago and got engaged last year in Italy, making them more than ready for the adventures of marriage. And they sure do love an adventure! How could you not though when the Swiss Alps are practically in your backyard? They enjoy hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. But when they’re not enjoying their hometown, they love to travel and explore new places! So a Maui Beach Elopement was the perfect way to start them off on the journey of being husband and wife 🙂 .

Emilie and Buck visited our office last year to start planning their Maui Destination Wedding, so we were eager for August 3, 2019 to arrive! From the moment we first met them we fell in love with their sweet personalities and relationship. They really are the most fantastic couple and we are so glad we got to be part of their special day!
Their love was so heartwarming that everyone felt it. They were extremely comfortable and even danced together during the ceremony! We also caught them mouthing little “I love yous” all throughout, which was so cute.
Commemorating the Father of the Bride
To make things even sweeter, Buck, his best man, and Emilie’s brother each wore one of her late dad’s watches. The mention on her dad made her tear during the ceremony and although he couldn’t be there in person, he was also commemorated through framed pictures which were so touching!
They truly had a beautiful Maui Destination Wedding, with the perfect bubble exit and loved ones all around to celebrate with them. And we are so thrilled we got to help plan such a special occasion for these two! Thank you, Emilie and Buck, for sharing this chapter of your love story with Simple Maui Wedding. Being part of this couple’s Maui Destination Wedding was so amazing! Not only were they super sweet, but we just love their style. Miranda looked absolutely incredible in a wedding dress from Willowby by Watters & Watters! This is one of our all time favorite dresses we have ever seen, every detail was so sweet and just perfect for an outdoor wedding in Hawaii. The colors and floral accents matched her bouquet and venue perfectly!
And Kevin didn’t look half bad either, his custom suit is from Perfectly Suited by Garth, a shop in their hometown. We love supporting local business here on Maui and love when our couples also represent and include aspects from businesses local to them! Having been to the island before, our bride knew a Maui Destination Wedding was exactly what she wanted and having never been here before our groom was down to experience and celebrate with someplace new 🙂 . It’s safe to say they’ll be back again, hopefully for future anniversaries and maybe even a vow renewal one day!
After getting married here, these newlyweds were excited to honeymoon on Kauai AND Oahu before returning to Utah to continue their beautiful life together as husband and wife. This Maui Venue Wedding was full of so much love and excitement! And it all started with a first look moment with our bride and groom. Jeremy’s face as soon as he saw Marissa said it all! It’s obvious she is the love of his life and he considers himself the luckiest man in the world! Just as he should 🙂 .

This couple first met in high school and after living together for 19 years they were more than ready to seal the deal with a Maui Destination Wedding! We couldn’t help but notice how comfortable Renee and Chris were with each other. And we love that they were always wanting to play hence the parasols, fun shades, and the festive coconuts. Which were a big hit! The guests especially loved the ice cold fresh coco water post ceremony! Plus they looked awesome in photos 🙂 .
After taking wedding portraits these newlyweds were ready to celebrate by attending a luau at Feast of Lele! Talk about the perfect ending to an already perfect day. We love a spontaneous elopement, so when Nadia & Glenn called us with less than a week to plan their Maui Beach Wedding, we were so excited!! Not only did they book an amazing ceremony with us, but also a Maui Trash the Dress session too!
With so many beautiful locations, it’s hard to choose a single spot for a ceremony. That’s why Nadia & Glenn chose three locations! On Thursday they said “I Do” with their toes in the sand at Baldwin Beach in Paia. Then on Sunday they met back up with Karma Hill photography for portraits in Honolua Jungle and Ironwoods Beach in Kapalua. That’s one of our favorite spots for a Maui Trash the Dress!
While they booked their Maui Beach Wedding on whim, their love story is 11 years in the making! They met when they were neighbors in Boston and now they live in California. They’re busy with careers and school, so this vacation was a much-deserved getaway! We loved getting to work with Nadia and Glenn and we wish them all the best as they return home as husband and wife! Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

With only their two children as guests at their Maui Beach Elopement, Sarah and Nathan had a truly intimate evening for their wedding ceremony. Since they kept their plans to get married a secret from their families they had an intimate evening with just the four of them at Maluaka Beach. Joined by the funnest wedding vendors, this was a truly memorable occasion for them all!
We especially love how this couple was able to include 4 year old Roger and 3 year old Sissy in the festivities! Aren’t they darling? We cannot get over how sweet they were dancing alongside their parents. Plus these photos of them eating wedding cake are too cute for words! Helping Shannon and Nicholas plan the Maui Venue Wedding of their dreams was an absolute honor! They were both so sweet and a pleasure to work with. Plus we were thrilled when they chose to have their ceremony at one of our favorite wedding venues, the Steeple House. This location can’t be beaten, not only is it gorgeous outside but the set up inside is amazing! Just see for yourself!
Not only are we glad we got to be part of this couple’s wedding day, but we are so glad these two found each other! Even if it was in a roundabout way, because let’s be honest, those are always the best stories anyway 🙂 . Our groom is from Australia and our bride is from Michigan, but they ended up meeting in Florida! Nicholas was there working on a boat, and Shannon was visiting on vacation when their paths crossed. They dated long distance for a few years, prior to Shannon making the leap and moving to Australia! Talk about a love story that has traveled the world!
At the close of their Maui Venue Wedding, our newlyweds were ready to celebrate with a celebratory dinner at The Plantation House Restaurant. Which is conveniently located just across the street from where they said, “I do”. We told you this location had it all!
