With loved ones surrounding them, this bride and groom were so excited to be getting married at their Maui Outdoor Wedding. And seriously though what could be better than having a ceremony right by the ocean?! With the sand beneath their feet and waves crashing nearby, Shannon and David were more than ready to say “I do” in paradise.
How They Met
From the moment David turned around to see Shannon walking towards him, it was easy to see that she really is the love of his life! And we are so glad these two found each other all those years ago in college. They were actually neighbors in their dorm! They had both just arrived, unpacked, left their rooms and met in the elevator. And they’ve been together ever since!

We loved helping plan this couple’s wedding at 5 Palms and can’t get over how amazing they look in these Maui Wedding Portraits! Danielle and John brought their own photographer from Orange County for their wedding photography. But since all of our packages include photography they decided to do an extra couples shoot with our sister company, the day after their wedding!
Photography Options – Bringing your Own Photographer
This is a great option since photography can’t be removed from a Simple Maui Wedding Package. We understand some clients might already have someone in mind for their wedding photography, but why not take more photos!? You can never have enough shots of you and your new spouse, especially in your amazing wedding attire!
Dreams Coming True
Our bride said she’s always dreamed of having photos in a pretty dress with pretty flowers on the beach in Hawaii at Sunset. So taking these Maui Wedding Portraits was perfect, and she lucked out with the most GORGEOUS lighting! Danielle grew up coming to Maui every year as a kid, so it is a very special place for her. And now she can’t wait to come back when they have kids and have portraits this very same beach, so sweet!
Danielle and John, we cannot thank you enough for sharing not just one but two beautiful evenings with us. We loved getting to know you both and wish you all the best on the journey ahead! Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

We love that this bride and groom chose to get married at a Maui Destination Wedding. And are so glad we got to be part of it! With Stephanie’s family mostly in China and Jonathan’s family from the East coast, they figured Maui was the halfway point between the two locations. Making it the perfect place to have their ceremony! And as you can see their wedding really was perfect 🙂 .
With just the right amount of cloud coverage, the lighting couldn’t have been more amazing. They even had the most incredible sunset down at the beach during their wedding portraits! After taking photos with our sister company, these newlyweds returned to Gannon’s to have their reception at the Upper Pond. Talk about convenient! We love how this couple’s special day came together and wish them all the best on the journey ahead!

We loved helping plan this Ironwoods Beach Maui Wedding! This is one of our favorite spots on the island and it’s easy to see why. With a beautiful sandy beach surrounded by greenery and the most epic cliffs you will ever see, it not only makes for an incredible experience in real life but it’s also the most amazing setting for wedding portraits! And to make this location even better, there are lots of options for lodging nearby making it super convenient. Our couple stayed at the Kaanapali Villas, which are under 15 minutes away from where they had their ceremony. Not bad!
Our Bride and Groom
Nina and Bryon had been dreaming of visiting Hawaii for the longest time, and what started out as a joke to have their wedding here quickly became an amazing reality! This evening was filled with so much love and good times with their family and friends. We had so much fun with everyone and could tell how special it was for this bride and groom to share their special day with their guests!
After taking the most beautiful sunset portraits with our sister company, our newlyweds were ready to celebrate with a fun reception at The Plantation House. Which is located right above where our couple said, “I do”, and always has the most delicious food! Making it the perfect choice for a celebratory dinner after an Ironwoods Beach Maui Wedding.

This couple chose to get married here because they love the ocean and wanted a ceremony by the beach. So a 5 Palms Maui Wedding was perfect! This setting could not be more amazing since it is literally nestled right up to the sand and overlooks the most amazing blue water. Saying, “I do” here would literally be something out of a dream!
When planning their wedding Karina and Jeremy described it as simple, relaxed, tropical, fun and special. And it definitely was all of those things! These two were seriously so relaxed and so excited to be getting married. Plus their wedding guests were just all so happy to be in Maui to celebrate with them!
Karina and Jeremy have been together ever since meeting at a hop festival and hitting it off while dancing. So how could they not have dancing at their 5 Palms Maui Wedding? We love that our newlyweds not only shared their first dance as husband and wife on the grassy lawn, but that they also invited a hula dancer to join them. What a great way to make a Maui Venue Wedding even more festive, and their guests all loved it!

Lucy and David flew to the island almost a week before their Maui Destination Wedding, and were so excited to finally be getting married! We love that they got to spend some time relaxing here prior to their big day so they wouldn’t be stressed leading up to their ceremony. Especially since we believe a couple’s wedding day should be as stress-free as possible!
Including Family
It was so touching to see how this bride and groom were able to include family at their Maui Destination Wedding. David stood with sons, Joey and William and then after making her entrance, Lucy was joined by daughter Lily for the ceremony! What a great way to unite these two and their children as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives 🙂 . This truly was a special occasion and we are confident it’s one none of them will ever forget!
After taking wedding portraits, these newlyweds were ready to celebrate with a delicious dinner at Merriman’s private cabana. What a perfect way to end an already perfect day! After meeting in Dubai and reconnecting 10 years later in Vancouver, this bride and groom were excited to get married at a Maui Venue Wedding! Nimet and Nazim are both in their mid 40’s and neither has been married before. Besides each of their full-time jobs, they also run a shave ice business together in their spare time! So fun!
We also found out that Nazim does stand up comedy and Nimet is his writer. So it’s obvious these two really do make an incredible team not only in work but also in play! Nazim even proposed to Nimet while on stage during his comedy show, can you imagine how surprised she must have been?! They brought the best energy to their Maui Venue Wedding, and you can tell by all the photos of them laughing that there wasn’t a dull moment all evening long. The sunset even came through in full force!
After taking beautiful portraits with our sister company, our newlyweds were ready to end their evening with a delicious dinner at Sarento’s. Yum! Stacey and Tom visit Maui every year and took pictures with our sister company 5 years ago. So we were stoked to plan their Maui Vow Renewal! Most of their guests had never been to Hawaii before and had no idea what to expect. But one things for sure, this is an experience and occasion none of them will ever forget!
When Stacey and Tom got married 15 years ago their wedding color was coral, just like their “aloha ever after” sign. So we love that Stacey went with a non-traditional ocean blue dress, which really complimented the pastel colors from her wedding day. Also on her bouquet was a lady bug, and it’s the same lady bug pin she wore on her bouquet during her wedding day! How fun is that?!
Another super cute tear-jerker was the fact that Stacey had the same vows from her wedding day but added a few new things. Their vows had both Stacey and Tom in tears! It was especially touching to see their son participate in the festivities by walking his mother in, being part of the lei exchange and giving his parents hugs after the ceremony. Such a tender moment! But really this entire Maui Vow Renewal was full of one incredible moment after the other and we loved being part of it all 🙂 . Being part of Heidi and Kevin’s Maui Venue Wedding was an absolute honor! These two were seriously the sweetest and so great to work with. Before the ceremony even began, it was obvious Kevin was so excited to marry his best friend! He told us he’s never met anyone who he’s “just clicked” with like Heidi. They make each other laugh and always finish each others sentences, which was so cute!
They’ve also opened a bar together in Vegas and have a blast working with each other! And how could they not when they are such a fun couple? After meeting on Tinder 1.5 years ago, this bride and groom were so excited to celebrate with loved ones at their Maui Destination Wedding! To make things even better, this couple also looked stellar in their wedding attire! In a Tara Lauren wedding dress, Kimberly’s bridal glow was in full force 🙂 .
