Clarice and Erwin’s story began fifteen years ago! Our delightful duo met in the parking lot of Clarice’s job while Erwin was chatting with her manager. After this, Clarice and Erwin were inseparable, so they started dating!

The Dreamy Venue Wedding in Maui

This trip wasn’t Krista and Derek’s first time in Hawaii. Krista has been visiting since she was five years old! She and Derek have also traveled to the Aloha State many times together. However, Maui is their favorite island! They have had many unforgettable experiences here, so it was no surprise they decided to tie the knot at this destination. Most importantly, we’re glad we could be part of another remarkable memory in paradise!

Our Couple’s Story

Krista and Derek’s story began when they met in a country bar! Our lovely couple immediately hit it off, so they two-stepped the night away. After this night, they were inseparable!

They got engaged while visiting Krista’s family on Vancouver Island for a fishing trip. Derek attached a flasher to her rod, and it said, “You are the catch of a lifetime. Will you marry me?” When Krista reeled in her line to head some, she saw the message! Then, she turned around to see Derek on one knee. Krista says it was a memorable moment and a creative engagement!

Our Couple’s Story

Ashley is in her second year as a medical student at the Military Medical School in Washington DC. Before continuing her education, she worked as a medic in the Air Force! She met Alejandro when they first started the prep program for medical school. Currently, Alex has an administrative position in the Navy but will be starting medical school next year at Washington State!

Alejandro popped the question to Ashley at Theodore Roosevelt Island in Washington DC. This location is one of their favorite places! When our adventurous pair first began dating, they would go there for evening hikes and explore the area. To make this moment more remarkable, Alejandro’s son was with them! Above all, we’re glad they made Hawaii another special spot by having their Maui beach wedding here!

Why We Love Their Maui Venue Wedding

Merriman’s Kapalua was the location for this event, and this spot provided us with breathtaking scenes! Silky clouds and the setting sun’s luminous glow were decorating the sky. Then the lush lawn and lofty palm trees created a magical landscape. However, we adore how exquisite the circle arch is with the vivid greenery. It enhances the dreamy ambiance and makes this ceremony look like a tropical fairytale!

Our Couple’s Story

Fate was working overtime when Haily and Hugo met! In November 2016, Haily moved to Maui because she got a new job. Then in February 2017, Hugo visited the island with his mother, brother, and brother’s girlfriend to celebrate his mom’s birthday! After his brother mentioned a dating app, Hugo decided to try it during his vacation.

Once Haily and Hugo both swiped right on each other, Hugo messaged her to make a connection. Then, one day later, they met up at Canoe Beach! From there, they never stopped talking. Then in 2018, Haily moved back to California to be closer to Hugo and her family.

The weather forecast said it was supposed to rain all day, but lucky for us, it didn’t. It’s almost as if this Maui venue wedding was meant to be!

Their one-year-old daughter was the flower girl! Although she got a little fussy during the ceremony, she was nothing but smiles when she was in her parents’ arms. You can tell Haily and Hugo are great parents to their little one!

Our Couple’s Story

Matt and Sarah first met one another while working at Walgreens in 2013. At the time, he was sent to Chicago on a specific assignment by Boots, a drugstore in the United Kingdom. First, our delightful duo became friends and occasionally met up.

Then in 2018, Matt and Sarah grew closer! Once our passionate pair realized there was something more, so they started a long-distance relationship. After spending 2019 traveling the world together, they had no doubts they wanted to spend their lives together! Finally, in December 2020, Matt popped the magic question. While Sarah was visiting Matt at his home in the United Kingdom — he proposed!

Our radiant newlyweds had a Hawaii venue wedding because they wanted a small celebration! Maui was the perfect location because it’s beautiful, and our adventurous duo could also spend their honeymoon on the island.

Vanessa and David’s loved ones were planning a group trip to Hawaii. Since our delightful couple was already going to be in paradise, they decided to have a spontaneous Maui beach elopement! Not to mention, many of their friends and family recommended they tie the knot on the island. They claim it’s one of the most beautiful destinations they’ve visited! Above all, we think the Aloha State lived up to their expectations. Continue scrolling to experience this romantic day for yourself.

Lahaina Shores Beach was the location for this event, and this spot provided a breathtaking scene. Since there’s light cloud coverage, you can see the natural brilliance enhancing the dreamy ambiance. Next, as the sun continued to set, a spectrum of pastel hues and silky clouds colored the sky! Surrounding our charming couple, you’ll see lofty palm trees, foamy cerulean waves, and beige sand.

Why We Adore Their Maui Beach Elopement

Relaxed, spontaneous, and simple are a few words we’d use to describe Vanessa and David’s special day. Danyel from Manutea Nui E created a tranquil mood with his ukulele. Then, when it was time to start the ceremony, Reverend Kimo Kirkman delivered a heartfelt sermon. During his speech, Karma Hill Photography and Gaucho Visuals documented every affectionate moment of this event!

Lastly, after Reverend Kimo Kirkman pronounces Vanessa and David as husband and wife, they have a mini reception. The first dance, cake cutting, and sparkling toast were magical moments. Most importantly, they have a radiant glow! Our lovely couple’s faces are filled with bliss and adoration as they look at one another.

Vanessa and David enjoy traveling. Our bold duo constantly seeks new adventures together! Therefore, it was no surprise they wanted to have a Maui beach elopement. You can find Vanessa and David with their two pups or appreciating nature in their spare time!
