Kelly and Jason’s Maui venue wedding was a truly special day for this amazing couple! As software engineers for different companies, they share a love for spending time with family. It was a beautiful and magical day and the island really showed off! They chose Maui for their destination wedding as it would give their family an excuse to visit the islands together. (We fully support that idea!) Our happy couple met through a mutual friend at a DnD night and got engaged at one of Kelly’s favorite plant nurseries. (She loves plants, so it was so thoughtful and sweet!) Fast forward to their incredible day in paradise when they finally became husband and wife…

The oceanfront ceremony at Merriman’s in Kapalua was absolutely beautiful! We loved how they incorporated all the tropical blooms into their special day, making it feel like a real island wedding. All of the bright blooms of their lovely day really popped against the blue sky and ocean…it was a whimsical and elegant touch to the natural splendor of their decor! The ocean breeze, sunshine, and vibrant blooms all added to the romantic atmosphere…

Kelly looks like a Hawaiian goddess in her radiant flower crown! Jason opted for a classic and fresh blue suit – love it!

Their Maui venue wedding day was truly beautiful, surrounded by the love and laughter of their closest friends and family. Everyone brought a vibrant energy and aloha spirit for the happy couple! Kelly and Jason were so excited to celebrate their love and commitment to each other. But first, we went down to the beach out front to capture some beautiful portraits of our happy pair. The sun was slowly setting, so this was the prime hour to capture some golden portraits!

There’s something magical about eloping that sets it apart from traditional weddings. It’s just the two of you basking in the beauty of your love in a stunning destination! That’s exactly what Kristen and Corey thought when planning their Maui elopement! Our lovely couple’s big day was a lighthearted and playful affair filled with laughter and love.

Kristen knew she wanted a destination wedding, and Hawaii seemed like the perfect choice since it’s in the US and feels exotic! After hearing from her coworkers about how amazing Maui is, the couple agreed it would be the perfect location for their intimate ceremony! Our Day For Us

Their love story is truly inspiring, and Corey pulled off an amazing proposal! He tricked Kristen by making up a trip for a long weekend, but instead, he proposed to her at the beautiful Belhurst Castle in front of a “Marry Me” sign. It was the best day ever!

Fast forward to their spectacular day at Kanaha Beach, they exchanged heartfelt vows to the sound of the gentle waves. The airy lightness of their wedding photography reflects their joy and laughter throughout their Maui elopement. The tender moments mixed with laughs are truly heartwarming! Kristen and Corey plan on having a big reception celebration with their friends and family back home too! We love that idea for a Maui elopement, especially for a destination wedding. But this day was their day…

These two can now officially say they are “Just Maui’d!” They have been looking forward to this moment for so long, and finally, it had happened! After their intimate ceremony, we walked down the stretch of white sand to capture their first moments as husband and wife. Kristen looked so elegant with her fresh white Maui Elegance bouquet, and the cool and blue color palette of their photos perfectly reflected the laid-back atmosphere. Corey looks equally as sharp in his blue suit!

At the end of their beautiful day, what mattered most was their deep love, friendship, and commitment. This is just the first step in their new beginning as husband and wife!

High school sweethearts are just the sweetest! Kimberlee and Kristian’s Maui beach wedding was a beautiful beachy affair embodying all that we do best! What makes this day even more special is these high school loves tied the knot on their 14-year anniversary; it was a day they will surely never forget!

When it came to planning their big day, Kristian and Kimberlee both share a love for the ocean and the beach, so a Maui beach wedding was right up their alley! They had been to Maui in the past and had always considered getting married here, and their dream finally came true!

Under The Maui Sun

The ceremony began in the sunshine at Southside Beach, with Kimberlee stopping everyone in their tracks as she made her way down the sandy aisle. Their lovely ceremony was a simple and elegant affair, just what we do best! As you can imagine, their friends and family were happy to have made the trip to join them on the beach and celebrate their love!

The simplicity of their wedding highlights the idea that sometimes, less is more. The whole event was an excellent example of how elegant a minimalist approach can be, with the focus being on our sweet couple and their love for each other. Maui’s natural beauty, their loved ones, and their enduring love were all that they needed!

A New Beginning

The Maui beach wedding celebration continued with a few newlywed portraits at sunset! After all, our sweet couple loves the ocean, and this was their moment! The setting sun added a warm and romantic glow to the photos, creating a stunning backdrop for the couple’s portraits.

The sky was painted with a beautiful blend of soft pastel hues, ranging from warm shades of pink, orange, and yellow to cool tones of blue and purple. The colors seemed to blend together seamlessly, creating an ethereal and romantic atmosphere that perfectly complemented the couple’s love for each other! Perfect for a kiss… it doesn’t get any more beautiful than this!

A Maui destination wedding is many couples’ dream, one we take complete pride and joy in bringing to life for beautiful couples like Cassidy and Grant! Cassidy had always dreamed of getting married in Maui… so we were honored to be able to coordinate their special day for them. First, a little backstory on our lovely pair… Cassidy and Grant are high school sweethearts; they met four years ago and got engaged under Christmas lights last December! Very romantic. Their love story is as sweet as can be, and it was a delight to begin their journey with them as husband and wife!

Rustic & Beautiful

Their Maui destination wedding was beautiful and intimate, with a Hawaiian vibe at its core. They tied the knot at Rustic Hawaiian Ruins, Trinity-By-The-Sea, an old church dating back to the 1800s! The coral brick walls surrounding the altar of this outdoor chapel feel rustic yet dreamy, with tropical palms all around. So it’s the perfect mix of a tropical venue yet with a beachy feel! It was just what they had hoped for, and we loved how the light filtered through the setting; it was bright and airy and oh so Hawaiian...

Finally, after they said their “I do’s,” we took our lovely newlyweds to the beach for some portraits! It was a bright, sunny morning, creating a happy atmosphere perfect for capturing the moment’s joy. We love how airy and bright their photos look; they genuinely capture the tropical essence of Cassidy and Grant’s Maui destination wedding!

Madison and Chad always dreamt of getting married by the water, so we were delighted to coordinate their Maui venue wedding! (Given that fact, we think they couldn’t have picked a better place than Hawaii!) It was a glorious day by the water’s edge under the sunshine for their special day. These lovebirds met on a dating app in January 2022 and fell in love from day one! They have so much in common, and they knew this connection was something special. Several months later, they were engaged!

Their big day finally arrived, and we couldn’t be happier for them! Their Maui venue wedding was exactly what they envisioned; ocean breeze, sunshine, salty air…and full of love. Chad especially wanted to get married in Maui, so they thought, why not?!

Oceanside Dreams

Their beautiful oceanside ceremony took place at Wailea Beach Resort at Lanai Point on Maui’s South Shore. We love this location because it allows you to be as close as possible to the ocean while still having the privacy of a venue wedding! Guests can sit comfortably and admire the view and the celebration. It’s the best of a beach and venue wedding! Plus, the views are incredible too!

It wasn’t long before our happy newlyweds left the shoes at the altar and made their way down to the beach below! They basked in the golden sun and the carefree, relaxed ambiance of the gorgeous setting. The sunset was incredible for the new Mr. and Mrs. too! Their Maui venue wedding ended with a golden glowing bang, as you can see! Maui’s south shores rarely disappoint! It was the perfect ending to Madison and Chad’s special day…

After years of growing and thriving together, Josh & Taylor decided it was time to get married. This active, driven couple knew they wanted to wed in a place they love. So they chose to have a Maui Destination Wedding.

Their celebration was simple yet meaningful, small in size but vast in all it represented. And it was our great honor to coordinate it.

So on a glowing Maui evening, we met Josh & Taylor on Maluaka Beach, where they vowed to love and treasure each other for the rest of their lives. Now it’s time to relive the day through their Maui destination wedding photography!

From Teen Sweethearts to Lifelong Love

Josh & Taylor met in 2010, when they were teenagers working at the same golf course. It took them one month to start dating, but they took their time before getting married. After all, they were so young, and they had a lot of growing up to do.

But they grew up together, and that’s what we love about Josh & Taylor’s love story. They began developing similar values, encouraging each other through trials and successes, and they fell more and more in love.

And now, 13 years later, they are finally tying the knot – making their bond official and celebrating their relationship.

A Maui Destination Wedding was perfect for this adventurous pair, as it allowed them to explore the islands, relax, and truly enjoy their big day.

And it was perfect for us too, since it meant we got to be a part of it! We’re so glad we got to meet these two and be a part of such an important milestone.

The Details That Matter for a Maui Destination Wedding

Josh & Taylor were drawn to the scenic simplicity of a Maui beach wedding, and they had the most gorgeous day.

Our favorite thing about these small celebrations is how customizable they are. Josh & Taylor could choose the details and traditions that meant the most to them and forego anything they didn’t want in their wedding.

So they had a heartfelt ceremony, beautiful flowers, a few loved ones present, and incredible photography.

But best of all, they brought their wonderful, shining spirits along. After all, it was Josh & Taylor who made this Maui Destination Wedding such a joy.

These two are returning to Idaho soon, but they’ll carry with them the memories and bond they formed here in the islands. The peace and energy of the water, the glow of the sunset, and the guidance of the trade winds will always be a part of their marriage.

So they met in August 2012 while working on an Indie film. Joe was in the camera department, and Jami was the director’s assistant – the rest was history… or a romantic movie?!

Their beach ceremony took place at Ironwoods Beach, a picturesque location on Maui’s North West shore. It was full of love, happiness, and many laughs! It was a joy to witness their love and deep friendship! What’s more, Jami’s custom bouquet is so fresh, full of springy and whimsical garden blooms…

Our Future Awaits

After their romantic beach ceremony, we walked up to the dramatic cliffs for additional portraits! The raw natural beauty of this location was just as breathtaking as the pair they make!

It was an honor to have been able to capture this incredible moment for Jami and Joseph. We know that their love will only continue to grow stronger from this point onwards. We wish them all the happiness in the world as they start their lives together as husband and wife!
