Their love story began through the connection of a mutual friend, who happened to be Maggie’s childhood companion. And what a journey it has been since then! With Maggie’s move to San Diego to be with Skyler, their love blossomed amidst beach sunsets and playful moments with their beloved dog, Kuma.

Skyler’s proposal was nothing short of magical, a perfect ending to a challenging year. Swapping Kuma’s dog tag with one that read “Will you marry my daddy?” was a clever and heartwarming gesture that left Maggie speechless. How sweet is that? This brings us to their beautiful albeit a little rainy Maui venue wedding day at Gather. But the showers didn’t dampen the joyful mood and ambiance! They fell in love with Maui and its tropical charm and this venue had both the best of a beach and a venue rolled into one…

Their Maui wedding day may have started with a few sprinkles, but as they exchanged vows in the shelter, surrounded by the love of their closest friends and family, the rain only added to the magic of the moment. And when the skies cleared, they made their way down to the beach, where they shared intimate and romantic moments together as husband and wife for the very first time…

Maggie looked absolutely radiant, not letting the cloudy weather dampen her spirits! While Skyler’s classic navy blue suit was a winner in our book. We were honored to make their wedding day a reality!

Ironwoods Beach feels like an extra special place, so we were excited to plan Fallon & Travis’ Maui Hawaii Wedding there.

The cliffs are looming yet protective, the ocean powerful but beautiful, and the winds are often intense and decisive. It’s a place where you can thoughtfully and joyfully marry, where you can stand before forever and confidently say “I Do.”

Fallon & Travis chose to have a simple wedding, giving them space and time to reflect on their relationship. We’re so happy we got to be a part of their day. Their entire group was supportive and fun, and we’ll talk more about their guests-of-honor later.

Fallon & Travis’ Maui Hawaii Wedding marked the beginning of their marriage, but it also had another significant meaning. See, this sweet couple is blending their families. Fallon brings her two young kids, and Travis has his teen daughter. The three guests-of-honor were such a joy — supporting their parents, shining during the ceremony, and adding a lot of personality to the entire event.

The kids were a big part of why Fallon & Travis chose a Maui destination wedding. They were able to get away and have a family vacation, creating a wedding memory that the kids could fully enjoy.

Now, when they look back at their wedding day, Fallon & Travis will see their own love story, but also the greater story of their family, of a support system that extends to all their loved ones.

Choosing Ironwoods Beach For a Maui Hawaii Wedding

We talked a little earlier about how special Ironwoods Beach is. This secluded spot tends to have high winds and hit-or-miss sunsets. But it also has a totally unique landscape — tall cliffs, glistening light gold sand, bright blue water, and lush green accents.

Fallon & Travis were a perfect fit for this romantic, one-of-a-kind spot. After their ceremony with Reverend Kuya, they got lots of portraits around the beach. They walked along the sand and then headed up to the top of the sea cliffs, where the sunset views were outrageous.

Jamie and Danielle met one other because they both have a passion for fitness and healthy living. They connected and got to know one another as friends, even though they lived in different states. Eventually, they got to a place where they could invest time and build a strong friendship. Our passionate pair felt comfortable confiding in each other and being openly honest. After five years, our charming couple took a leap of faith and went on a date. Jamie and Danielle say it’s the best decision they’ve ever made!

Why They Had A Destination Wedding in Maui

In the summer of 2019, Jamie and Danielle visited Maui — they instantly fell in love with the island and everything they’d experienced! Once they left, they felt this spot would be their special place. When Jamie and Danielle imagined their wedding, they knew they wanted it to be a celebration focused on the love and support they get. They knew an intimate ceremony in a destination they adore would be a magical way to tie the knot!

Danielle says the moment she got engaged was kind of a surprise, but not really. Our beautiful bride picked out her ring. However, Jamie got to propose during fall — his favorite time of the year! Our handsome groom popped the question on a historic, scenic high bridge in their hometown. Since Danielle is so cerebral, Jamie created multiple plans and layers to set up so she wouldn’t know it was coming!

Our gorgeous couple’s ceremony began with our groom arriving at the shoreline. Robert walked to the top of the seaside and took his spot beside the officiant, Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o. Then when she was ready, Natalie walked down the sand with her father by her side! We like our charming pair’s ceremony because it’s intimate. Natalie’s mom and dad were the only two people in attendance! Above all, our favorite thing about this sunset affair is how simply sweet it is. Seeing Natalie and Robert’s blissful smiles throughout Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o’s sermon was lovely to witness!

After their Hawaii beach wedding, we asked Natalie and Robert how they felt about it. We were elated to hear they adored their ceremony as much as we did! This wedding began with Brice and the five guests arriving at the lush gardens. Our groom took his spot by the bamboo arch in the front. Then when everyone was ready, LeeAnn made her grand entrance! Why They Had A Maui Venue Wedding

Whitney and Anthony decided to tie the knot in Maui because she adores the island! Our bride visited a few times with her relatives and immediately fell in love with Hawaii. However, Anthony has only been to Kauai! Whitney says if she and Anthony could move here and bring their families — they would! Our charming couple wanted their wedding to be simple, elegant, and relaxed. Thankfully, their sunset occasion was everything they desired and more!

Our Couple’s Story

Whitney and Anthony met through his sister, Rafaela, who also happened to be Whitney’s best friend in high school. On April 6, 2021, Anthony popped the question to Whitney! Our delightful duo walked down the beach when Anthony got down on one knee. Unknown to Whitney, Anthony had the ring for months and kept it a surprise from her and their families! Currently, Anthony is a landscaper. Then Whitney is an Elementary School Special Education Teacher. Most importantly, this adventurous pair is celebrating ten years of being together!

This day started with Clarissa from Karma Hill Photography capturing getting-ready portraits! It was so much fun seeing our bride preparing for her big day. Above all, we adored watching the people she loves the most supporting her!

After this, it was time for the first looks! As soon as Taylor and Preston saw one another, they were full of joy. Taylor is a gorgeous bride — you can tell our groom felt the same way! Her Justin Alexander gown pair flawlessly with her chic styling from MeiLi Autumn Beauty. In addition, her classic look complements Preston’s sophisticated attire from Express!

The Romantic Maui Venue Wedding

Scenic, intimate, and captivating are a few words we’d use to describe Taylor and Preston’s special day. They couldn’t have chosen a better location for their event! Gannon’s created a breathtaking backdrop for this sunset affair. We like how the lofty palm trees, lush grass, and sweeping ocean views make this ceremony feel so dreamy! You can see how perfect the weather was too. Since there was light cloud coverage, you could see the pastel sky and soft sun!

Taylor’s veil is gorgeous! It was handmade for her by Preston’s mother using lace from his grandmother’s dress. When Preston’s sister gets married, she will wear the veil too! We love this tradition. This accessory will be treasured forever — especially since it was worn at this beautiful Maui venue wedding!
