“When I arrived at Sunny’s condo, she was hard at work perfecting her makeup, almost overwhelmed. We were all so glad she took her time with her makeup because she looked absolutely stunning when she was all done! She even cried as she was putting on her dress because she was so emotional that her makeup was perfect and everything was finally coming together. As her dress was buttoned up, she added the pearl necklace her mother-in-law let her borrow. It was such a classy touch to her beauty.”

“It was drizzling just before Reverend Richardo’s conch blew, but when Sunny arrived, the rain stopped moments before she made her entrance.”

“Everyone loved Richardo’s ceremony. He had the couple and all of the guests laughing and smiling throughout, which was just what the couple wanted.”

“After the ceremony, we gathered for photos on the beach of the 5 Palms. Keawekapu is where they love to hang out as a family together, so it’s become a sentimental beach for them all.”

“As the final minutes of the sunset came to a close, Sunny and Aaron experienced the most vibrant colors for their sunset! Sunny was saying ‘It’s almost comical to have such a perfect sunset!’ It was true since the whole day they had overcast skies leading up to those very last moments.”

“Overall it was a very beautiful day and Sunny and Aaron were left as happy as ever.”

Andrea & Stephen’s Destination Wedding in Maui is going to be a huge surprise for all their friends back home in Australia, and imagine their faces when they see these incredibly gorgeous wedding photos! The 5 Palms in Wailea set the stage, and 19 members of their family watched on as Andrea & Stephen said: “I do.” One of those members was the sweet and bouncing baby Zac—the couple’s 9-month-old cherub!

Decked out in a bowtie and vest, Zac was full of things to say during the ceremony! We loved capturing his adorable face as he scrunched it up while babbling on about something very important that only he could understand. Although we’re fairly certain he must have been talking about how stunning Mom looks–just take a look!

Or maybe he was also trying to tell us all about how his parents met… Andrea & Stephen work next door to each other, and Andrea would pop into Stephen’s building daily for a quick coffee. Then one day they bumped into each other and fell head-over-heels in love!

These adorable New Yorkers flew out of the wintery cold and into the tropical sun for their Five Palms Maui venue wedding. Their Hawaii destination wedding was a Special Day compromise. Emily wanted a small ceremony while Jeffrey wanted a huge celebration–so a trip to Maui with just a close-knit crew of friends and family seemed like the perfect way to meet in the middle (of the Pacific Ocean)!

And we could not get enough of their playful and unique spin on a Maui venue wedding! Who says you need to leave your personality back in your home state? Bring it with you! Lavenders and creams made an elegant statement at Le & Saeng’s venue wedding on Maui. The outdoor terrace of the 5 Palms set the stage and flooded the ceremony with the warm sun of the tropics. Contemporary details and personal touches elevated the occasion, perfectly marrying elegance with the easygoing nature of Maui.

Le’s daughter and Saeng’s niece starred as the flower girls. And what a beautiful and darling pair they were! The Maui venue wedding of Nikkie & Erik began with an intimate and misty ceremony, and it finished with a splash of cherry and blush that took our breath away! Together for 11 years, these high school sweethearts said “I do” on the patio of the 5 Palms in Wailea. And we were beyond charmed with their genuine love and affection…

Although the ceremony was overcast, the guests at this wedding had the most awe-inspiring view… the endearing couple! And they really were a beautiful pair! The subtle blush-tones of Nikkie’s locks added a delicate “pop” to her traditional bridal decore and highlighted her radiant beauty. And Erik pulled off all the laidback style of a Maui groom in love.

Officiating the ceremony was the delightful Reverend Richardo. Never short of a laugh or wise insight, Richardo has the profound ability to bring about smiles and heartfelt moments of joy.

Shortly after the big “I do,” the rain ceased and the sky was washed in bursts of dusky pinks and rouge. It was almost as if the island was sending a sign and rejoicing in the couple’s new union. After all, who wouldn’t be rejoicing when greeted with smiles like these!

The 5 Palms in Wailea set the stage for this tender yet breathtaking wedding ceremony on Maui. Together for exactly five years, Taylor & Austin had us falling in love along with them. Youthful and vibrant, this loving couple and their families planned an affair that was glamorous with an abundance of touching personal details.

Stylish bursts of plum and navy blue adorned the bridesmaids and groomsmen and brought a sense of contemporary couture to the spirited occasion.

Taylor’s nephew pulled off the role of ring bearer and then some! We couldn’t get enough of his adorable bowtie and precious smile!

As an inventive and sentimental detail, Taylor had sections of her mother’s wedding dress sewn together, giving it new life as her garter belt and the pillow for the rings. Incorporating cherished heirlooms is a touching way to weave in family history and values into the special day.

Taylor pulls of lush in all the right ways. Draped in champagne lace complete with a cathedral-length trail and an illusion open back, this bride is simply breathtaking.

Taylor and Austin shared their first look on the terrace of a stately family home. And it just took one glance to witness the radiant love shared between this endearing couple.

Natural light flooded the outdoors ceremony at the 5 Palms and made for a spectacular view of the oceanfront and that first magical kiss.

Everyone was celebrating the occasion! Even the humpbacks!

As Austin and his lovely mother shared their first dance, a hush came over the room. Their deep and tender love was palpable… and the guests watched on through misty eyes…

Afterward, the hush turned into cheers and hollers as Taylor and her father took the stage, pulling off one of the most entertaining and elaborate father-daughter dances we’ve seen!

This was Jennifer and Luis’ first time here and they decided to have a Maui Destination Wedding because they’ve always wanted to visit! And 5 Palms was the perfect venue for their ceremony. With a view of the ocean as their backdrop, these two said “I do” in paradise!

One of our favorite parts of this Maui Destination Wedding was how Jennifer and Luis included sentimental details! Their ring box had their handwriting on it, Luis made their cake topper himself, and lastly, their vows were handwritten. These little touches not only made for a memorable wedding day, but also beautiful keepsakes!

That’s not all that caught our attention though, our bride was absolutely stunning in a dress that looked like it was made for her! When our photographer asked Luis if the dress was what he expected, he said, “No, I was expecting like a ballgown poofy dress.” Probably because Jennifer hinted that the dress was “big.” lol

These newlyweds especially loved being on the lava rocks at 5 palms! They mentioned everywhere they go, they’re always taking photos on rocks or cliffs. So they were super happy to keep that little tradition of theirs alive on their wedding day!

This couple chose to get married here because they love the ocean and wanted a ceremony by the beach. So a 5 Palms Maui Wedding was perfect! This setting could not be more amazing since it is literally nestled right up to the sand and overlooks the most amazing blue water. Saying, “I do” here would literally be something out of a dream!

When planning their wedding Karina and Jeremy described it as simple, relaxed, tropical, fun and special. And it definitely was all of those things! After meeting in Dubai and reconnecting 10 years later in Vancouver, this bride and groom were excited to get married at a Maui Venue Wedding! Nimet and Nazim are both in their mid 40’s and neither has been married before. Besides each of their full-time jobs, they also run a shave ice business together in their spare time! So fun!

We also found out that Nazim does stand up comedy and Nimet is his writer. So it’s obvious these two really do make an incredible team not only in work but also in play! Nazim even proposed to Nimet while on stage during his comedy show, can you imagine how surprised she must have been?! They brought the best energy to their Maui Venue Wedding, and you can tell by all the photos of them laughing that there wasn’t a dull moment all evening long. The sunset even came through in full force!

After taking beautiful portraits with our sister company, our newlyweds were ready to end their evening with a delicious dinner at Sarento’s. Yum!
