Rhiannon and Matthew’s Maui Destination Wedding was enveloped by the glistening ocean backdrop and the cheerful love of family and friends. Set on the lush green lawn of the 5 Palms in Kihei with the island of Kahoʻolawe on the horizon, there was plenty to celebrate during this spectacular Big Day.

We began our session with getting ready footage of Rhiannon and her bridal crew. We were loving the exciting vibes and the encouraging energy of her girls! Rhiannon was the queen of the day, and she was glowing from the inside out. 

As the big moment drew near, Matthew awaited the love of his life under the bamboo arch on the venue. His smile spoke volumes: this is the day he’s been waiting for! Soon Rhiannon graced the aisle and the crowd grew silent. Wearing a sweetheart neckline dress with lace demi-gloves, she is absolutely beautiful. 

We love her simple pearl necklace–and we love the story that goes with it! One day in California, Matthew opened a clamshell, and there it was–the perfect pearl! We like to think it’s a fitting metaphor for our couple’s love story.

From the moment Nicole and Bryan set foot on the warm sand, we knew their Hawaii Beach Elopement was going to be something special. Set against the shore of Maluaka Beach, Maui did not hold back when it came to gorgeous lighting and scenery. Nicole always knew she wanted to get married in Hawaii. And the reality was a dream come true and then some! We could not get enough of this stunning bride’s energy. As always, the Maui sun was magical, but the winner for warmth and a beautiful light that day was hands-down Nicole! We’re loving her sleeveless gown with drapes and drapes of chiffon and an eye-catching veil to match! And Bryan looked handsome in a coal-black suit with a blush tie, all while wearing the happiest smile. 

Our Couple’s Story

Nicole and Bryan both work in insurance. They met in the usual 21st-century fashion, through a dating app! From the moment they first met, they knew their connection was something special. Within a year, they brought a house together and have built an amazing life.

Two years following their first date, Bryan knew he was with his person. He arranged to propose in the comfort of the home they’d brought together, getting to his knee in the kitchen and asking Nicole to marry him. And the rest of the story is right here on our blog!

Tiffany and Silvio never dreamt of a big wedding, all they wanted was to become husband and wife in an elegant and unforgettable way. With Gaucho Visual live streaming the event to loved ones back home, Tiffany and Silvio chose to elope in Hawaii. Po’olenalena Beach put on a show of tropical wonder, and the day was nothing short of perfection. 

The Hawaii Elopement

Tiffany and Silvio were all smiles during their Hawaii elopement! Who wouldn’t be?! Marrying the love of your life is a day worth celebrating! And it was so clear that Tiffany and Silvio were thrilled to say “I do”! Our couple cherished every moment on the golden sand beach. Their soft touches and genuine looks of love were never-ending.

Wearing a spectacular gown with floral applique and the perfect beach wedding hairstyle, Tiffany is take-your-breath-away beautiful! Looking pretty great himself, Silvio brings out the best of the deep ocean in a tailored suit of cobalt blue. How gorgeous are these two?! 

We are all about these beauties! Tiffany requested a custom bouquet designed with accents of lilies and monstera leaves. The best part? The way the soft pinks bring out the glow of our beautiful bride! 

Our Couple’s Story

Silvio lived in Brazil and then Oregon, while Tiffany grew up in Wisconsin as a true midwesterner. Tiffany works in marketing design and Silvio is in game design. They met in San Francisco in 2019 and fell in love fast.

Together they have one fur baby and love being creative, drawing, and crafting with a good game night sprinkled in. They enjoy cooking together (even before the pandemic!), especially recipes involving garlic. In October they moved to Portland to be closer to friends and family.

Tiffany and Silvio met through Bumble, right when Tiffany was just about to give up on the platform. She told herself, one more, and sure enough, that one more turned out to be “the one.” It took only a month for them to realize they were in love.

Miriam and Joshua’s Maui Beach Elopement was flooded with sunshine with love everywhere you looked. From the beautiful bride and groom to the beachgoers cheering them on, from the piercing ocean to the golden Maui sun, Miriam and Joshua’s big day brought the saying “love is all around” to life!

Watching the love of his life make her way towards him, Joshua could not hold back his excitement. Those eyes, that smile, he was so clearly over the moon to marry Miriam. 

Wearing an open-backed gown in ivory with a jeweled bodice and a sweeping train fit for a cathedral, Miriam is simply gorgeous. We love how her stylish loose waves and custom bouquet of white anthurium and monstera leaf add the perfect touch of tropical goodness to her elegant look.

Courtney and Tristan’s Maui Venue Wedding took place on the manicured lawn of Gannon’s ceremonial knoll. With their four children and loved ones in attendance, this was a wedding filled with endless love and blue skies.

The Maui Venue Wedding

Courtney and Tristan decided on a Maui Venue Wedding shortly after their engagement. One day, they were browsing a local wedding show with their moms and came across a Hawaiian booth. They knew right away that this was the opportunity for a once-in-a-lifetime Big Day. A wedding, a family vacation, and a honeymoon all wrapped up in one tropical package. Courtney said, “It just felt right.” 

Our Couple’s Story

Courtney co-owns a property management and commercial real estate office, and Tristan is a quality manager and auditor for an electronics manufacturing company. They’re a blended family with four kids and five pets. For family time, they enjoy hanging out at home watching movies or going outside on little adventures. And for date nights, Courtney and Tristan love escape rooms, concerts, and comedy shows.

Courtney and Tristan met at their two oldest sons’ “fund-run” event. Since first grade, their boys had grown to be close friends, and Courtney and Tristan began chatting over parental anecdotes and sharing fun stories. Soon Courtney and Tristan were also friendly acquaintances, but in this case, there was no denying the spark of romance!

Our couple got engaged in what Courtney describes as “the most simple and silliest of ways.” While in the comfort of their own home, Tristan set up an intricate scavenger hunt, but Courtney was so nervous (suspecting what he was up to), that she had HIM find the ring for her! Our Couple’s Story

Daisy works as a recruiter for the Army National Guard, and Harrison is employed at an RV company. Together they have two furbabies, Milo and Oreo, and they love to pamper their sweeties with walks and adventures.

Their love story began as two Army friends, but after a few years, it blossomed into a romance. Harrison proposed after an extravagant hike filled with waterfalls. He was so overcome with emotion when he got down on his knee that he was shaking and couldn’t get the words out. But that was just fine because Daisy was doing the same! The shakes have left, but their tangible love is stronger than ever. Just look at these two!

Hunter and Eric’s Maui Micro Wedding was bright and tropical to the max! And speaking of “to the max,” it does not get much cuter than when their adorable toddler Eli made his grand entrance as “ring security”! With family in attendance, a spectacular view, and unbelievable weather, this Big Day was nothing short of amazing! 

The Maui Micro Wedding 

Sporting a suit to match his dad and sunglasses that gave him that secret service air, Eli opened the event and had the crowd giving all the “awwwws.” After Eli completed his very important mission and delivered the rings safely to dad, those “awwwws” changed to “ooooohs” as the bride made her entrance. Hunter looked spectacular in an elegant gown with floral applique and a cascading bouquet bursting with the hues of the tropics. 

Hunter visited Maui throughout her life and always knew the Magic Island was where she wanted to say “I do.” The hum of the ocean and the gentle breeze paired perfectly with the sound of the guitar, adding just the right amount of melody to a relaxing yet elegant day.

Brooklyn and Sergio were surrounded by beauty during their venue wedding in Hawaii. On the outlook point of Gannon’s Ceremony Knoll, our couple’s backdrop was the panoramic view of Maui’s southern shore. A handful of family watched on as Brooklyn and Sergio said “I do” in an intimate venue kissed by the island sun.

The morning of the wedding ceremony was lush and vivid, with clear skies and spectacular ocean blues! Reverend Kuya opened the ceremony with a prayer and the traditional conch shell, and when Brooklyn stepped out on the lawn, even the mynah birds hushed their chatter. 

We love how the elegant floral design and ribbing of Brooklyn’s bodice gown paired with her cathedral-length veil. With a custom bouquet peppered with hues of blush and pink, Brooklyn is take-your-breath-away gorgeous! Our Couple’s Story

Brooklyn and Sergio both hail from the Lone Star State. Sergio is a welder and travels often for his job, but luckily he stays mostly in Texas. Brooklyn is a Registered Respiratory Therapist and is currently in charge of the pulmonary rehabilitation at the hospital in their hometown of Nocona. They look forward to starting a family after their union, but as of right now, already enjoy the company of their two Frenchy furbabies, Leila and Ivy. 

Destiny got to work early with Brooklyn and Sergio, bringing them together as soon as high school. Brooklyn said, “We dated for around a year and a half our freshman and sophomore years, so we have known each other a while! Although very cheesy, he was actually my very first kiss!” Although their courtship didn’t progress past sophomore year, they kept in touch and rekindled their romance after Brooklyn graduated college in 2014.

When the time was right, Sergio proposed after hosting a small gathering of family. Brooklyn was shocked: “I think it was perfect because it completely caught me off guard. During this pandemic, we do not get dressed up very often and go places, so if we would have, I might have suspected something!” Well played, Sergio. Anna and Kyle chose to elope in Maui in secret… And what a gorgeous surprise it was! Our bride and groom have the energy and easy-going nature of best friends, and they were simply a joy to work with. The smiles and laughter didn’t stop even when a rare Hawaii downpour graced the beach.

The Beach Elopement Ceremony

The ceremony began with an overcast sky that created dynamic lighting. As soon as the vows began, the island unleashed a brief downpour. We can only imagine how heartfelt their words must have been, considering Maui could not resist joining in on the blessing! Anna and Kyle chose to continue on and shared one of the sweetest “just married” kisses we’ve seen, all while underneath a cozy umbrella! 

As soon as the kiss ended, so did the rain! The clouds parted and the sunlight returned just in time for our Maui Wedding Photographer to capture gorgeous photos of our lovebirds enjoying the beach. Dreamy lighting? Check! Maui blessing? Check! Couple in love? Check, check, check! 

We’re head over heels with the bold look Anna sported. When you elope in Maui, why let the ocean be the only thing making a splash on the shore?! Carrying a fiery red bouquet of posies and roses to match her flower crown, and draped in a tiered gown with silver sandals, Anna is a gorgeous bride who isn’t afraid to own her beauty! We loved her confidence!

Her twisted up-do and ornamental open-backed gown were just the right combinations of sophistication and simplicity. The groomsmen and Cody’s steel-gray suits and Prussian blue ties paired perfectly with the dusky blues of the bridesmaids. Our Couple’s Story 

Mackenzie and Cody have been an item for a decade. They’re currently building a house together (the literal kind and the figurative house of marriage!). Mackenzie and Cody love the thrill of adventure! You can find them on their wave runner in the summer, or on a pair of dirt bikes or UTV vehicles. As you might have guessed, they LOVE the sunshine! Our Couple’s Story

When Zoey received a friend request from Jasper on Facebook, she had no idea it would lead to marriage. At just fourteen, these two were busy with high school academics… but there’s no waiting for love! When it happens, it happens! And soon, Zoey and Jasper knew they’d found their person. 

They both love hiking, so Jasper set up a very special hike to the top of Mt. Ebert. He invited his brother to join them, but Zoey was in the dark that bro was just the designated photographer. Once they reached the top, Jasper popped the question. She, of course, said yes. We’re pretty sure it wasn’t just the mountain that made them both feel like they were on top of the world.
