Katy and Kevin arrived at the ceremony lawn together. Our bride & groom made a breathtaking entrance side by side. Their faces were full of nothing but pure bliss as they walked down the aisle! Our lovely couple’s two sons stood by Kevin while their three daughters stood by Katy.

The Lighthearted Maui Venue Wedding

Katy and Kevin’s special day was fun, passionate, and magical! Reverend Kuya was the officiant, and he delivered a sermon with a delightful message. He was high-spirited and energetic throughout the ceremony and even made our joyful couple smile a few times! Then when it was time for music, Oren from Barefoot Minded played songs fitting the mood on his ukulele. His soothing tunes only enhanced the romantic ambiance created by this magnificent venue!

Setting the scene for this wedding was the Makai lawn at the Hyatt Regency. The sun was in its golden hour and shined warmly on the lush grass, making this event feel like a fairytale! Being only one step away from Ka’anapali Beach, you can see the ocean sparkling dreamily in the background. We like this venue because of how spacious it is. There was plenty of room for all thirty-three guests to sit comfortably and view the ceremony!

We love Katy’s custom bouquet by Dellables! You can see how the soft neutral tones balance flawlessly with the rich blush and mauve hues. Our bride made a great decision with this arrangement. It is fresh and boho — ideal for a fall venue wedding in Maui!

Ka’ena played Over the Rainbow during the entrance and exit, enhancing the romantic ambiance with his soft music. We adore how our delightful couple decorated the bamboo arch with vibrant flowers and airy fabric. Above all, everything about this wedding is dreamy!

Our Couple’s Story

Nicole and Steve’s first met when they swiped right for another on a dating app. When the moment was perfect, Steve popped the question on a rocky outcrop at a beach in Carmel, California. After learning about their engagement, we knew a Maui venue wedding would be right up their alley! This visit was their first time in Hawaii, and now this island will always be dear to them.

Currently, Steve is a Building Automation Engineer, while Nicole is a Market Research Analyst. These radiant newlyweds have two sweet daughters: one is five years old, and the other is three months. In their free time, you’ll find Steve playing video games and Nicole curling up with a good book!

The Enchanting Destination Wedding in Maui

The rustic arch and vibrant floral arrangements add a boho touch to the wedding. And Kalani from Manutea Nui E played soothing melodies on his ukulele, creating a romantic ambiance! Although there was heavy cloud coverage, the sunset left a spectrum of soft hues painting the sky!

Our Couple’s Story

Megan and Kenneth’s story started when they met on a dating app. Our delightful couple had an instant connection because of their many commonalities! In September 2019, they moved in together and combined their families. Then, in March 2020, Kenneth and Megan bought a new house! These radiant newlyweds wanted to start a fresh chapter of their lives in their own space. Above all, we hope these portraits captured by Karma Hill Photography will decorate the walls of their home!

This lovely blended family was supposed to travel to Hawaii for Spring Break in 2020. Due to COVID, they had to postpone their trip until November 2021. Everything worked out perfectly for Kenneth and Megan! Our charming couple had a stunning Maui destination wedding, and they got to share the aloha spirit with their family! Not to mention, the timing was flawless, so this trip was a Thanksgiving family getaway as well!

Why They Had A Maui Venue Wedding

On 03/28/2020, Daniel popped the question while our charming couple was hiking with their friends. They got engaged when the pandemic first started, but they did not know how long it would last. When Mallory and Daniel began planning their special day, was when they first found Simple Maui Wedding. And they immediately knew they wanted to work with us! 

Our stunning couple was supposed to tie the knot on 11/17/2020, but they had to cancel because of COVID. After this, Mallory and Daniel attempted to plan more weddings on the mainland. Unfortunately, nothing ever felt right for them. The third time was when our gorgeous bride and groom knew they wanted to make their destination wedding a reality! Finally, everything worked out flawlessly. Our lovely couple became newlyweds on 11/17/2021!

The Hyatt Regency’s Japengo Lawn set the stage for this intimate venue wedding in Maui! Fluffy clouds were covering the blue sky, but they didn’t dim the sun’s brilliant rays. You can see how the soaring palm trees and the sapphire ocean create an enchanting scene! We like how the circle arch with foliage makes this venue look as if it’s out of a fairytale! Above all, we can’t picture this passionate pair tying the knot anywhere else because everything about this ceremony is captivating!

Our Couple’s Story

Our lovely couple’s story began when they met in 2007 while they were in high school. First, they had a class together, then two weeks later they started dating! Friendship, love, and trust have been the keys to keeping their relationship strong and healthy.

In 2013, Dylan popped the magic question on New Year’s Eve. Our captivating couple was watching Disneyland’s fireworks from the top of a parking structure when Dylan proposed! Since then, they have been trying to plan a flawless day to tie the knot. Above all, we’re overjoyed they got their perfect Hawaii venue wedding with us!

Currently, Dylan is an electrician, while Tia is a Registered Nurse. They are parents of two adorable dogs and two sweet cats! In their free time, you can find this adventurous pair hiking, fishing, and going on long drives. We hope you guys got to experience the sweeping views the trails in Maui offer! When they aren’t exploring the outdoors, they’ll spend time with their pets, play video games, or watch movies.

Gannon’s was the location for this sunset event, and this day was full of magnificent weather! There wasn’t much cloud coverage, and the sky was a delicate shade of blue. Since this ceremony was during golden hour, the sun left a warm glow on the lower knoll. The natural radiance paired with the lush greenery made this event look like a fairytale! Most importantly, we like how the sun’s rays are reflecting off the ocean — it’s so dreamy!

Peter Dagupion was the officiant for this ceremony, and he delivered a flawless sermon! Before our couple exchanged vows, they included a beautiful Filipino tradition! First, the parents put a cord around the future newlyweds, and then their guests came up to bless them. We adored seeing Rozelle’s Filipino culture incorporated into her wedding day; it made the ceremony more intimate!

Our Couple’s Story

Scott and Rozelle first met online. Then when the time was right, Scott proposed on Christmas in front of Rozelle’s parents and sisters. Our stunning bride and groom are opposites: Rozelle is extroverted while Scott is introverted! This adventurous duo enjoys being out in nature, and they’re big animal people.

For our radiant bride and groom, Hawaii is one place they dream of living. So they didn’t hesitate to have a venue wedding in Maui! This getaway was their first time on the island, and we know this destination will always be close to their hearts!

The Contemporary Destination Wedding in Maui

Five Palms Maui was the location for this relaxed ceremony. We couldn’t have asked for better weather: no clouds were in the blue sky, and the sun glowed brightly! Although there was a slight breeze, it created an enchanting ambiance. The sapphire ocean was shimmering magically behind our cute couple as the sun reflected off it. Framing the wedding were lofty palm trees making the venue feel as if it were out of a fairytale. Above all, the lush green lawn had plenty of space for all fifty guests!

Our Couple’s Story

Ashley and Austin grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, and have known each other since seventh grade. But they didn’t start dating until their senior year of high school! After this cute couple graduated college, they moved to Dallas, Texas, then bought their first house in October 2020! We hope some of the pictures from their Maui destination wedding will decorate the walls of their home.

When they first got the keys to their home, they went to the property to take new homeowner celebration pictures! Austin surprised Ashley by getting down on one knee in their new residence! Currently, Ashley is a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse, while Austin is a Patient Access Representative in the emergency room. This fun duo loves traveling, being around family, and finding new places to eat!

Kassidy and Tyler’s Maui venue wedding was one of the best days of their lives! Our team at Simple Maui Wedding made the planning process stress-free and created the perfect sunset event for our cute couple. Keep scrolling to experience this magnificent ceremony for yourself!

Kassidy and Tyler arrived at the sandy shores separately. While our handsome groom took his place at the altar, the entrances began. As the bridal party entered, you could hear Ka’ena playing “How Sweet It Is” by Marvin Gaye on his ukulele. Lastly, our stunning bride gracefully walked down the aisle with her dad by her side. She looked breathtaking, and you can tell Tyler agreed!

Why We Adore Their Maui Venue Wedding

Reverend Joe Miles was the officiant and began the ceremony with how our beautiful couple met. It was heartwarming to hear how Kassidy and Tyler’s story started while they were minutes away from tying the knot! Our favorite thing is the vibrant arch arrangement! You can see how the tropical flowers balance seamlessly with the natural hues surrounding them.

Our gorgeous couple couldn’t have chosen a better location to get married! Sapphire water, pearly sand, and a luminous sky created an exquisite backdrop for this event. Five Palms Maui always makes weddings look as if they’re out of a fairytale. But during this occasion, the setting sun was shining down on the lush lawn and made the ceremony feel more dreamy!

Growing up, Kassidy would visit the island once a year with her family. Ever since she was a little girl, this destination has been her favorite place on earth! Our delightful bride has always dreamt of getting married in paradise! Before their special day, Tyler and Kassidy had only been to Hawaii once together. One trip was all it took for our charming groom to fall in love with it too! Our newlyweds liked the idea of having an intimate and scenic ceremony, so a Maui venue wedding was perfect for them!

What We Adore About Their Hawaii Venue Wedding

Held at the Hawaiian Ruins at Trinity by the Sea; this ceremony was rustic, tropical, and intimate. We like how Cristian’s cousin, Matthew, was the officiant, and Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o added the Hawaiian traditions to the ceremony. Both sermons flowed flawlessly together from start to finish! Most importantly, we love the boho-styled arch at the altar. This detail makes the wedding feel more dreamy!

The Rustic Hawaiian Ruins set the scene for this delightful couple’s exquisite wedding! It was a gorgeous day outside; there were few clouds in the sky, and the sun was beaming! Vivid green trees decorated the background naturally and made the venue feel as if it was out of a fairytale! Above all, this location is perfect for groups because of how spacious it is. All twenty wedding guests were able to sit comfortably and still had a great view of the ceremony.

Our Couple’s Story

Erika and Cristian’s story began when they met in college. Erika would see Cristian every day during lunchtime in the food hall. One day, he approached her and sparked a conversation. Two dates later, they were officially a couple! Four and half years pass and Cristian decides to pop the magic question. He proposed in front of the T-Rex at the dinosaur exhibit in the Houston Museum of Natural Science! Erika describes it as one of the best days ever!

Since this lovely couple is from Texas, they initially thought of having a barn-like, rustic ceremony. But because of the pandemic, they wanted to do something more intimate. Tying the knot on the beach was one option, so they went big with a Hawaii venue wedding! Erika and Cristian’s day was perfect because it was in paradise with the ones closest to their hearts around them.
