It felt like a real-life dream come true for everyone who attended!

Everyone was so happy to be there to celebrate the happy pair at Wailea Beach Resort. Our happy pair were surrounded by love and well wishes all day…

The Best Day Ever

Arissara’s bouquet is perhaps one of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen! Our floral partner, Dellables, did a fantastic job putting this floral pink confection together! It really pops against her creamy white gown trailing on the white sand.

Their Maui venue wedding was the perfect blend of beauty, fun, and romance. Ben and Arissara soaked up the magic of the moment until their incredible day ended with a dreamy sunset. After basking in their newlywed joy on the beach, they were ready to celebrate and cut the cake! And what a cake it was! The pink cake floral decorations were right on point! These little details make all the difference…

Our sweet couple, who are both busy lawyers in Los Angeles, still make the time to cherish each other and have fun! So when they recently vacationed in Maui, they knew this would be the PERFECT place to tie the knot! They fell in love with the island’s relaxed and tropical vibe and were so excited to share it with their friends and family on their special day…

Sara made a beautiful entrance to her Maui venue wedding ceremony, where her soon-to-be husband Kenny waited at their stunning altar! Our lovely pair went for a traditional but nontraditional feel of a Persian wedding with the sofreh aghd on the grassy lawn at Gather. It was wonderful to see how they incorporated cultural elements and touches of tropical beauty into the golden circle arch and pineapples along the aisle. All these little details make their celebration feel that much more personal…

These two look head over heels in love! All the bounty and blessings of their sofreh aghd made their Maui venue wedding feel even more special. It all felt like a dream…They couldn’t stop gushing over each other! Their chemistry was palpable in every look and glance. With many kisses and hugs from their family, our newlyweds made their way down to Southside Beach to capture some romantic portraits by the waves….

These beach portraits are everything! Sara looks impeccable with her frothy off-the-shoulder gown…a true goddess! Kenny opted for a smart classic navy suit reflecting deep ocean blue. They were so at ease in each other’s embrace, laughing and giggling only as newlyweds can! They were beaming ear to ear as the sun slowly lowered below the horizon. These photographs will forever freeze this moment for our happy new Mr. & Mrs. to look fondly back on!

Can you imagine meeting the love of your life in middle school? Well our sweet couple Carly and Jordan can! They met back in middle school, and Carly actually asked him out, and he said no! But seven years later, he remembered Carly and messaged her on social media; the rest is history! Their inimate celebration was held at Gather, one of our favorite venues for a Maui wedding. The view, the privacy, and the grassy lawn make it such a beautiful location to tie the knot! And as you can see, Carly and Jordan opted for a stunning driftwood arch with tropical florals to serve as the altar under the swaying palm trees. Their Maui destination wedding had all the elements they were looking for – simplicity, elegance, rustic, with unique details.

Their intimate ceremony was full of emotion as they said their vows in front of those who mattered most to them. The way they look at each other says it all!

Carly was a vision in a frothy gown! The combination of pink and green flowers is so fresh! They both look so happy in these newlywed portraits! Jordan was smiling ear to ear and opted for a sharp beige three-piece suit. Both are still in college and have spent half of their relationship in the pandemic, so this marks a new chapter of their romance and the beginning of many new adventures together!

Love was in the air as Quimbey and Timothy exchanged their vows in a beautiful Maui venue wedding! The excitement was palpable as they reaffirmed their commitment to each other, surrounded by their loved ones.

With his ten years of service in the Navy and his expertise in the semiconductor field, Timothy has always been a dedicated and hardworking individual. When he’s not busy lifting weights or cheering for his favorite football team, the Seahawks, he enjoys watching basketball games and crime shows.

On the other hand, our lovely bride, Quimbey, is a compassionate Registered Nurse who finds joy in cycling and spending time with their grandchildren. Their granddaughter, Zariuh, even had the special role of being the adorable flower girl on their big day!

Having always wanted to visit Maui, they saw this as the perfect opportunity to tie the knot and further their general desire to explore new places together!

Their ceremony was a simple yet elegant affair at our Rustic Hawaiian Ruins venue, beautifully set in the palms and foliage. This lush scenery is what makes this venue feel like your own little paradise for your vows. Surrounded by the breathtaking tropical beauty, they exchanged heartfelt vows that brought tears to the eyes of their guests!

It was another gorgeous day for our happy couple, Melissa and John’s Maui venue wedding! These two were drawn to the natural splendor and magic of the island…the fragrant flowers, the turquoise waters, the sunshine… what’s not to love? They thought it would be a wonderful vacation for their friends and family too…

Melissa, a Real Estate Lawyer, and John, an electrician, may come from different professional backgrounds, but one thing they definitely have in common is their love for adventure and friendly competition. With a shared passion for kickboxing, scuba diving (John’s thing), hiking, playing cards, fishing, and even running errands (yes, you read that right!), this dynamic duo knows how to make every moment count.

On their special day in Maui, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Melissa and John chose Gather – a stunning venue overlooking the picturesque South Shores. The anticipation was palpable as John awaited Melissa’s entrance. And when he finally turned around, his reaction was nothing short of priceless! Love filled the air as these two souls reaffirmed their commitment to each other…

Gather in Kihei provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration, with swaying palm trees, privacy, warm sunshine, and a relaxed vibe that instantly put everyone at ease. Melissa looked absolutely radiant in her exquisite lace gown, capturing everyone’s attention as she walked down the aisle. The knowing looks of love and devotion they shared say it all! And just like that, they are husband and wife!

After their relaxed Maui venue wedding ceremony, the newlyweds and our photographer ventured down to the enchanting Southside Beach. And what a sunset it turned out to be for our happy pair! With the tropical waters glistening in the background, they captured the first moments of their married life together. “Maui is a place we have visited together, a place we think is absolutely magical and are always scheming about when we can visit. What better occasion than our wedding,” our lovely couple gushed to our wedding planners before their big day. The dream of a Maui venue wedding became a reality for Eric and Emily! It was a wonderful day, the best day ever if you asked these two love birds! Everything down to the very details was spectacular, as you’ll see in these highlights below!

First things first, our wedding photography coverage began with Emily getting ready. Love, nerves, excitement… all the natural feelings were there as she donned her stunning lace gown! And what an entrance she made…

Something Different – A Day In Paradise

Their tropical ceremony was everything you could dream of, from the ocean waves just nearby to the privacy of this gem of a venue. Olowalu Plantation House is an exceptional oceanfront location for a Maui venue wedding and has all the charm and a historic feel. The elegant bamboo altar with blush-colored blooms of ginger, anthuriums, and protea was a signature feature of their inimate ceremony…so lovely!

But before we get into all the pretty details, here is a little back story on how these two met! So, Eric and Emily met in 2013 when they were students at the University of Michigan. They were in the same club and quickly became friends! After graduation, Emily went off to PA school in North Carolina, and Eric stayed in Michigan to attend medical school at the University of Michigan. One football Saturday when Emily was visiting Michigan, she ran into Eric, and their love story began! 

All their friends and family were so happy to be there to celebrate these two! They were surrounded by so much love and joy throughout their big day. Emily wanted “something different” for their wedding and thought a Maui venue wedding would also give their friends and family a chance for a Hawaiian vacation too!

It wasn’t long before the fun started with their bridal party! These will be forever standout moments from their Maui venue wedding. We love this property because it has so many secluded spots for moments like this! From the tropical foliage, oceanfront lawn, and rock jetty, there are SO many gorgeous spots for both candid and traditional portraits alike! After all, newlyweds need a little privacy after their “I dos!” 😉

These dreamy portraits of the new Mr. and Mrs. Colomb are simply breathtaking! It was so endearing to see how playful and sweet they were together. They laughed, smiled ear to ear, and savored each priceless moment of the first moments of newlywed life. You can tell they are the best of friends!

The cloudy sky in the background accentuated Eric’s pink tie and blue suit, which perfectly matched Emily’s pastel bouquet, don’t you think? Tropical wedding style perfection!

“It has been my dream to have a Hawaii wedding since I was little. After visiting Hawaii a few months back, I have never been more sure about the whole thing,” our lovely bride, Joy, told our wedding coordinators before their Maui venue wedding. There were many laughs, tears, hugs, and kisses of, course, namely between the happy newlyweds, Joy and Ryan! We could feel the emotion and the tenderness these two shared the moment Ryan turned around to catch his first glimpse of Joy…

A Dream Come True

With many cheers and congratulations echoing for our happy pair, we went down to Southside Beach, for some newlywed portraits! These two are the best of friends…they actually met in high school when Joy was the lead role in a play and Ryan was a lead tech behind the scenes. Something clicked when they met and both felt drawn to learn more about each other…

Let’s just say these newlywed portraits from their Maui venue wedding is the start of their next chapter together as husband and wife, far beyond the theatre where they met all those years ago. And how happy do they look in these photographs!? Joy looks so radiant in her flowy, lace gown…and Ryan is very sharp and dapper in his linen suit! “I loved the idea of a destination wedding, and it gives our families the excuse to go on a vacation all together,” Jayme said before her Maui venue wedding! And what a beautiful day it was for everyone in attendance! They were so happy to be in Hawaii to celebrate with their families and start the next chapter of their romance. These two have a very sweet love story – let’s just say Grandpa knows best!

In 6th grade, he told Jayme that she would marry “this boy” that her Grandma was tutoring…she laughed it off and ignored it. But then fast forward to both of them in high school, where they met at a youth church camp and were smitten! And seven years later, these two lives were forever entwined, and they officially started dating, and the rest was history! Re-live their beautiful day with us in these memories below…

Jayme always dreamed of a destination wedding and was so delighted to see all the options we offer for an affordable Maui venue wedding and destination wedding on top of that! She had visited Hawaii before but was excited to create new tropical memories with Corbin for the first time. All heads turned (especially Corbin’s) when she entered with her dad at Rustic Hawaiian Ruins. Everyone prayed and gave a sacred blessing over our happy pair before their ceremony began. Their beautiful celebration was lighthearted, full of love and joy…and a little touch of country too!

Coastal Cowboy

How fun are these portraits?! The tropical and country mix was so unique for their wedding party attire! They went for a “Coastal Cowboy theme” – so fun! We love it when our couples incorporate elements of their personalities and styles into their Maui venue wedding, like Jayme and Corbin! You can take the couple out of the countryside but not the country of the couple! Our beautiful bride looks so lovely in her lace gown with vibrant tropical blooms…Corbin looks very handsome and dapper with his hat to match her boots 🙂

Our photographer took our happy newlyweds around the lush property for some intimate portraits, just the two of them. The verdant foliage and sun filtering through the trees created a magical ambiance for our happy pair! These two certainly aren’t in Washington anymore! These lovebirds met at work, and their romance quickly progressed …it was only when Lucas got down on one knee while on a hike with tears in his eyes did they take the next step in their love story! The Lanai Point at Wailea Beach Resort provided a picturesque setting for their vows…The ocean breeze and crashing waves added to the romance of the moment. They are both from Forsyth, Georgia and grew up in the same neighborhood, unbeknownst to them until they were in high school! It was only when they began dating did they realize they were so close, and they have been together ever since, for ten years to be exact! How sweet is that? A small-town romance in every way! The beautiful Wailea Beach Resort provided the perfect setting for their special day. Set against the stunning backdrop of the ocean, the ceremony took place under a driftwood arch adorned with vibrant tropical blooms that took our breath away!

As Lauren and Cody exchanged their vows, their faces were filled with raw emotion, from love, joy, and reverence. It was a bittersweet moment that touched the hearts of everyone present. Cody’s mother was there in spirit at every moment of their special day…

But what exuded the most of their wonderful day was pure joy! The ambiance at their Maui venue wedding was filled with happiness and laughter. Their lovely ceremony at Merriman’s in Kapalua was straight out of a dream… The beautiful driftwood arch and florals added a magical touch to the already breathtaking oceanfront venue. Erica and Kyle’s friends and family made the trip to be part of their joyous occasion, and their happiness and support were palpable from the moment our photography coverage began…
