Setting out seeking an intimate celebration, we loved getting to be a part of Melissa and Marcos’ Maui Wedding and Trash the Dress session. Telling few people what they were doing, they left New Jersey behind to revel in the romance of a private gathering to begin their new life together. With Rev. Joe’s kind words, they followed along with the custom ceremony that would find them committing their lives to one another. With promises made, they were declared husband and wife as the sun worked it’s way towards the horizon.

Having met at a mutual friend’s wedding, Marcos wasted no time, asking her for a date that night. When the right person comes along, you have to seize the moment! Fast forward to today and we were so honored to watch them take these steps forward together. Rounding out their wedding photo collection, we even got to hang out with them the next morning for a ‘Trash the Dress’ session. There’s something so fun about capturing two people madly in love, as they play and splash in the surf in their wedding attire. It’s a chance to let lose and really have fun with the milestone that’s just occurred. It’s one of our favorite things to capture! Carving out their own piece of private paradise, Emilie and Magnus were so happy to enjoy a Maui Elopement along the golden Kapalua coast. Though they told no one what they were doing, it only added to the romance and excitement of the moment. Escaping the reality of every day life back home in Sweden, the software developers compromised by having an elopement but there was one thing they were in complete agreement about. Privacy! Adoring the seclusion that Ironwoods can offer, the beautiful bride and her dashing groom were in heaven as they nestled in beside the sea cliffs for this incredible moment.

Having been introduced by a colleague, their love has blossomed over time and the perfect pair couldn’t wait to begin the next chapter in their lives. With endearing words, and promises to keep, they committed their tomorrows to one another and are more than ready to see what life brings their way. Before the beaming couple could enjoy the pretty Wailea sunset, they first got to enjoy a Maui Elopement that would make your heart melt. The San Diego sweethearts, Ashley and Jeff,  couldn’t have been any cuter together they met beside the swaying sea. Following tradition, their chauffeur ensured they wouldn’t see one another until the moment it was time to tie the knot. As he watched in wonder at his approaching bride, Jeff was practically floating above the sand with anticipation. Looking radiant and thrilled, Ashley was the portrait of perfection as she glided across the beach.

Seeking romance and an intimate celebration, they got that and so much more. The lovely part of an elopement is the serenity it affords the bride and groom. You have no one to worry about except one another. With sweet embraces and tender looks of love, they reveled in the magic of the moment as the pastel sky lit up the horizon. The word that comes to mind for Dana and Kristofer’s Maui Elopement is ‘Epic.’ The setting, literally, could not have been more perfect. With the dramatic coastline and lovely light creating a dreamy scene, our gorgeous couple were blessed with a picture perfect moment along the Kapalua shore. Soft clouds and beautiful blue tones all added to the scene and allowed our fabulous pair to shine like a beacon of radiant joy. Looking stunning together as they took in this momentous occasion, they were nothing less than a vision of true love.

After shrugging off a colleague’s suggestions that Dana needed to meet her tall, dark, and handsome son, our beautiful bride was pleasantly surprised a while later during a chance encounter. Dropping by to visit his mom at the office, Kristofer knocked his bride’s socks off and ended up getting that date after all. As it turns out, mom wasn’t wrong! The two quickly realized they were a match made in heaven and had mom to thank for it. With their Vancouver home a distant memory, Heather and Cameron were more than happy to enjoy their Maui Elopement on the beautiful coast. Having met online, the darling duo have built a life together over the last six years. Thrilled to be starting a new  chapter in their love story, we could not adore this pair more. Moving together as though they are a pair engaged in a dance, this cute couple compliments one another perfectly. Sweet touches, tender glances, and genuine kisses all combine to make them a fabulous duo to capture.

Adding to the wonderful scene, the breathtaking setting was a dream come true. From the lush landscape, dramatic lava rocks, and serene sea, Southside Beach could not have looked better. As the sun melted in to the horizon in the distance, it only got better and better. We loved that these two love birds were blessed with the night and spot on the beach they wanted. With Cameron’s promise to handle the spiders for the rest of their lives, they set out for their new beginning. We could not have been more excited to be the Maui Elopement Coordinator for Lindsey and John. Darling as all get out, they made the trip from Washington State to start a new chapter as husband and wife. Exchanging the words they’ve carried in their hearts for years, they made official their love and took another step forward together. With two beautiful daughters waiting for them back home, they were so excited for a new adventure together.

Having known each other most of their lives thanks Lindsey’s friendship with John’s sister, their’s was a love that blossomed out of childhood. With Lindsey falling first, her school girl crush lasted through the test of time and found them falling for one another as adults. Looking forward to a lifetime of hitting the links together, our beaming bride couldn’t contain her giddy delight when we called John her husband. How cute are they!? We loved hanging out with these two and are so happy they not only got the stunning night they wanted, but also the spot on the beach they had their heart set on. As the sun began its descent in the sky, Kayleigh and Shane arrived at the shore to begin the next chapter of their lives. We were honored to be the Maui Elopement Photographer to capture it. More than ready to become husband and wife, they made the drive from the West side of the island to Wailea, where our team stood ready to make their dreams come true. After meeting in a courtroom, there was an almost immediate connection for the two of them. As Shane recalls, he knew they were meant to be as soon as they went on their first date. That’s perfectly precious! With a shared love for pizza, it’s hard to go wrong.

Now having built a life together, one that includes their two adopted pooches, they are so excited to celebrate that love with an intimate ceremony by the sea. Making the most of their time on island, they have loved getting to snorkel and explore the road to Hana. Hopefully, they found their way to Flatbread in Paia! Some of the best pizza you’ll ever taste! If not on this trip, maybe on the next one. We adored these two and hope the cool California couple make it a habit to visit the Magic Isle. With only a couple weeks before they both have to return to active duty with the Army, Rebecca and Charles wanted to make the most of their free time on island. Enjoying an intimate Maui Elopement on a spectacular evening, this was the dream they had been holding in their hearts. Having met in the ROTC program in college, their bond was forged through the hard work and sacrifice they both put in to get where they are today. Calling Colorado Springs home, they still stand by that bond and have faith that it will carry them through the years to come. Four years as a couple, their love has only grown stronger and we have no doubt that wonderful things lie ahead for the fierce but friendly couple.

If you ask our dashing groom, he’ll tell you that what he loves most about his beautiful bride is how independent she is. We totally buy that! As a tough twosome, there’s no doubt that their strength only adds to the love they obviously have for one another. Treated to a stunning setting, we hope their dreamy wedding only adds to the amazing memories they are creating with this new journey they’re beginning.
