The Maui Beach Wedding

Held on the golden shores of Polo Beach, Courtney and Samuel’s wedding looks as if it’s from a romance movie! We love how this location set such a dreamy backdrop for their ceremony. The sun is glowing mystically behind the clouds as a rainbow of delicate blues paints the sky! Sunsets here are enchanting because every color is so soft. As the calm waves crashed onto the sand, Courtney and Samual united under the sunset. When we first arrived, it was really windy. Luckily, it calmed down just in time for the ceremony! The long shoreline fit everyone comfortably. All six guests had a perfect view of the scenery and our beautiful couple! We could tell everyone was relaxed like the ocean behind them and happy for their loved ones tying the knot.

Although our beautiful couple said their vows in private, we enjoyed watching them exchange rings with one another.

Our favorite part of their Maui beach wedding was when Samuel saw Courtney walk down the shore. We’re sure everyone could feel the love and excitement he was feeling at this moment!

The Maui Beach Wedding

Polo beach was the location for our lovely couple’s fun and carefree wedding! We love how the scenery sets a breathtaking stage for the occasion! The palm trees are standing tall, the sand is golden, and the foamy waves are flowing gracefully onto the shore. Can you ask for a better view?

Morning ceremonies are always so magical because of the twinking sun and vibrant sky! Our favorite thing is how the ocean shimmers brightly when the sun is in its high position. This early morning wedding looks like it’s straight out of a fairytale!

Caitlyn and Jason arrived at Polo Beach separately. When Caitlyn walked toward the shore, you could see how ecstatic Jason was to see her. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and our beautiful couple is proving the statement! We can see all the emotions they’re feeling. In all honesty, we can almost feel them ourselves! Our gorgeous couple is radiating bliss and love!

Our Couple’s Story

Caitlyn and Jason’s story shows us you can meet the one for you in the most unlikely places! For our charming couple, they met each other in Afghanistan. They were both serving in the Marine Corps when their paths crossed during deployment. Five years later, Jason proposed at a New Year’s Party as the clock struck at midnight. Talk about perfect timing! 

Our lovely couple has always dreamt of tying the knot in Hawaii! Since they wanted to explore a new island, they decided a Maui beach wedding was perfect. We think they made the right decision because their ceremony was flawless from start to finish.

Tyler and Lexi exchanged vows on Po’olenalena beach as the pastel sunset hung above them delicately. The long shoreline was the perfect location for this lovely couple’s intimate day! This spot provided plenty of space for their elegant ceremony and ten guests.

Tyler and Lexi arrived at the shores of Po’olenalena beach separately. Lexi walked to the shoreline with her grandparents at her side. She looked like a tropical beauty with the Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet and matching flower crown!

Our favorite part is how you can see every phase of the sunset. First, you see the sun in its high position as it shines down on our beautiful couple romantically. Then as the sun lowers, you see the brilliant gleam in the background of the photos.

Our Couple’s Story

Elsa and Omar’s story began when they started dating during their last year of high school. September 12, 2021, marked ten years they have been together! In the beginning, they never talked about getting married. Eventually, they began to ease the topic into their conversations.

One day, Omar created a romantic proposal at their home! He had flowers, rose petals on the floor, and candles around the room. Elsa describes it as the perfect way to start an engagement! Currently, they have a twelve-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son. You can find them going to the gym and catching up on TV shows in their spare time.

They were stuck between Oahu and Maui when deciding which island to get married on. Ultimately, they chose to have a Maui beach wedding because they wanted an island vibe for their ceremony. Southside beach’s tropical weather with the sun sparkling on the ocean is sure to remind anyone they’re in paradise!

Nathalie and Daniel exchanged vows under a pastel sunset on the heavenly shores of Ironwoods. This beach on Maui’s northwest coast was the ideal location for this lovely wedding because of the different scenery! Of all the landscapes, our favorite thing about this spot is the sensational cliffs surrounding the shoreline. Epic cliffs will add a dreamy touch to your ceremony and will make every photo look breathtakingly romantic!

Pearly white sand, foamy ultramarine water, and natural lava rocks create stunning backdrops in every picture. Karma Hill Photography effortlessly captured the beauty of the beach and the newlywed’s luminous glow! You can see the delight shimmering inside them in every shot. Most importantly, we love that Nathalie and Daniel are as radiant as the sun!

Our Couple’s Story

Nathalie and Daniel first met when they were seven years old. At the age of thirteen, they became each other’s first loves! Then they went their separate ways. Ultimately, the universe had other plans for them since these relationships ended. They always say they were living parallel lives at the time!

After a decade of not see one another, Daniel reached out to Natalie to see how she was doing. For them, it felt like two halves had come back together again. Ever since that day in April 2020, they have been inseparable. Currently, Nathalie works as a charge nurse while Daniel is an attorney. They have a beautiful blended family with their three children!

You can find this spontaneous couple hunting, exploring, or just enjoying the outdoors. Since they love adventures, it was no surprise they wanted to have a Maui beach elopement! Their wedding was intimate, romantic, and lighthearted — perfect for the two of them.

Ryan and Ana wanted a simple, sweet, and elegant wedding, and they chose the perfect location for this! Ironwoods beach created a fairytale stage with the ivory sand, sapphire blue water, and striking rocky cliffs around the shore. Above all, our favorite thing is how ecstatic our lovely couple looks in every picture. They are shining just as much as the vibrant sun behind them!

Our Couple’s Story

Ana and Ryan first met when they were visiting Las Vegas, Nevada with their family and friends. A few years later, the two of them got engaged in July 2021 at Crystal Cove in California when Ryan popped the question! Currently, Ryan works as a general contractor in Vancouver, Canada, and Ana is a paralegal in Orange County, California. You can find this couple trying new foods, playing tennis, and going to the beach in their free time.

Since this island is where they realized their love for each other, they decided to have a beach wedding in Maui! As they start this new chapter in their lives, they are excited to one day start a family of their own.

There’s no bigger delightful shock than when it hits you that you’ve finally married your soulmate! If Ana’s ecstatic expression isn’t enough, she is also sparkling with joy here that she just married Ryan! You can see the happiness radiating through them in every shot. We can’t wait to see how they decorate their home with these gorgeous pictures!

Our Couple’s Story

In July of 2016, Kim lost her husband and son in a terrorist attack. The very next year, Kim and Donald’s story began when they met. After being together for four years, Donald popped the question to Kim on the magical day of 04/03/21! Wanting to continue the magic, they decided to have a dreamy beach wedding in Maui! Kim and Donald are both excited to start this new chapter of their lives together; we can see the excitement on their faces because they are glowing with absolute bliss!

Southside Beach created the perfect scene with the pastel sunset painting the sky, striking lava rock formations, and vivid blue ocean. Karma Hill Photography effortlessly captured the beauty of the Hawaiian sunset and the pure joy on the bride and groom’s faces in every photograph. We love how the natural colors of the beach complement the white of Kim’s delicate dress and the soft colors of Donald’s vest and pants.

It was a beautiful day for Tracy and Gary’s beach wedding in Maui. The ceremony was exactly what our couple had hoped for: simple, joyful, and fun! We were so happy to be a part of their special day on the shore of DT Fleming.

Reverend Kimo began the ceremony with the traditional blowing of the Hawaiian conch shell. With blue skies and a turquoise ocean, Tracy and Gary were surrounded by tropical beauty. And speaking of beauty, these two had the most beautiful connection! We could tell right from the start that they were meant to be. From their sweet glances to their loving lean-ins, Tracy and Gary were over the moon to say “I do” with a beach wedding in Maui. 

Our Couple’s Story

Tracy and Gary are both 58 and each have two amazing adult children. They met on Bumble almost two years ago. It was an instant match! Their engagement was easy and simple, they both decided they wanted to be married! Kristen and Kaylyn’s Maui beach wedding was beautiful in so many ways. With just family watching on and the panoramic view of the ocean in the backdrop, this day was beyond special. From a surprise beach-clearing event that left just the wedding party on the shore to a bursting sunset, this was truly a blessed occasion. 

The Maui Beach Wedding

Reverend Kuya opened the Maui beach wedding with the traditional blowing of the conch shell. Wearing gowns that complemented each other, Kristen and Kaylyn were visions on the beach. The day was windy, which added gorgeous movement to their trains. Shortly after the sweet ceremony, the sky opened up and it began to rain. It was a brief sprinkling, but it caused the beachgoers to pack up and leave. The result was a beach just to ourselves. 

Our Couple’s Story

Kristen and Kaylyn are both veterinarians and met on the job. Their connection was instant, but their love blossomed with time. Kaylyn asked Kristen to marry her during a romantic picnic at a national park in Ohio. She hid the ring in the basket and Kristen discovered it while she was unpacking the blanket. It was a stunning day for Christie and Duane’s beach wedding in Hawaii. With a few loved ones in attendance and the salty ocean breeze on their cheeks, this was a sweet and tropical ceremony. We were thrilled to be a part of their special day. 

The Beach Wedding in Hawaii

We are obsessed with Christie and Duane’s color palette. Soft creams and pops of coral pink brought a tropical and contemporary touch to the dreamy shore of Polo Beach. Wearing a princess-cut gown in full lace applique and orchid hair accents to match her bouquet, Christie is absolutely beautiful. And Duane’s wardrobe is a show-stealer! But the sweet looks and glances shared between Christie and Duane were the highlight of the ceremony. 

Following their I-do’s, it was time for the Karma Hill Photography team to capture glowing shots of our couple against the sunset. Emily and Sina’s beautiful Maui beach wedding was like a drop of sunshine, bright, warm, and kept making us smile. With a gorgeous tropical backdrop and a handful of loved ones watching on, this beautiful ceremony had everything island dreams are made of. 

The Maui Beach Wedding

We planned to have Emily and Sina’s Maui beach wedding on the shore of Southside, but with the threat of rain, we ended up moving the ceremony to Maluaka Beach. And it turned out to be a perfect choice! We can’t always shift the location, but we were able to get to the edge of the cloud line, which resulted in a slightly overcast ceremony and a sunset that was poppin’! Our Couple’s Story

Our bride had the sweetest story, that we just had to share on our blog! From our bride: 

“We met the age-old way – the internet! We actually matched on Coffee meets bagel. We talked for a few days and then met for our first date at a local bar/restaurant called Sovereign. 

“Proposal: we had an unseasonably warm day in Northern Virginia. We decided to go into DC to Georgetown and walk around. We went to take pictures in front of the place of our first date. That is when Sina gave the most heartwarming speech and dropped to his knee. I didn’t even say yes – I just said of course!” How cute is that?! The rest of their story is right here on our blog!

Last week, Becky and Carlos had a Maui beach wedding that was simply elegant, relaxing, and filled with love. With their family watching on and their sweet son clapping his cute little hands, there were good vibes and unforgettable memories all throughout this ceremony. 

The Maui Beach Wedding

Maui holds a special place in Becky and Carlos’s hearts. They’ve been visiting for nearly the length of their relationship and have made irreplaceable memories. It only made sense that they’d have a Maui beach wedding to celebrate their union. 

Wearing a white gown with off-the-shoulder accents and a wrapped opening, Becky was the picture of a beautiful, glowing bride. Our Couple’s Story

Becky and Carlos met on a boating trip. Becky was taking care of a friend who’d fallen ill, and Carlos left the helm to try and keep her company. After an Instagram invite, Becky says Carlos “Dove right into her DMs!” Although he likes to say otherwise!

Five years later, they were pregnant with their rainbow baby, and to celebrate, they took a trip to Maui for maternity photos. During the shoot, Becky asked Carlos to remove his hat, but he begged her to let him wear it for just a few more photos.
