Our grooms were so excited to share their Maui Destination Wedding with loved ones! And everyone was so excited to celebrate with them! It was especially touching how Luis and Miguel included their family throughout the ceremony as much as possible.
Entertainment for All
They even brought leis for each of their guests, plus added a musician and hula dancer for everyone’s entertainment! They also offered a toast to thank everyone for making the long journey here, and had a videographer to capture the in-between moments too! This was definitely a day to remember and we love that they will always have their wedding video and wedding portraits to help bring them back to this special occasion 🙂 .
At the end of their ceremony, Luis and Miguel shared a newlywed kiss while their guests tossed orchids all around them. It was such a beautiful moment and one we know they will never forget! Everyone was having so much fun they even stayed at the beach while Luis and Miguel had their couples portraits. And Miguel’s God-daughter and Luis’ mom even learned some moves from the hula dancer!
It’s safe to say this Maui Destination Wedding was a hit and we are so glad we could be part of it! When Emily reached out to us wanting to plan a Surprise Maui Vow Renewal for her husband Scott, we were 100% on board with the idea! Especially since these two are about to welcome a little bundle of joy into their family. It doesn’t need to be a special occasion to renew your vows, but we can’t think of a better time than prior to the arrival of a baby!
As we watched this couple exchange vows, the love they have for each other and their growing family was so strong it was almost tangible! And Emily was positively glowing! It’s easy to see Scott makes her feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and we are so glad these two have each other.
After the ceremony, it was time for some portraits with our sister company and we absolutely adore how they turned out! Especially these maternity shots. We have no doubt this child will be loved beyond measure and are honored we could be part of such a special Surprise Maui Vow Renewal for Emily and Scott! After meeting at a pub 2 years ago and getting engaged 1 year ago in Cancun, this couple was so excited to say “I do” at a Maui Elopement! With no guests, Danielle and David’s ceremony at Maluaka Beach was an opportunity for these two to focus on only each other and their love. What could be better than that?!

Suzanne and Jake had the most beautiful weather for their Maui Beach Wedding – sunny skies, a light breeze, and a dreamy sunset! These two lawyers traveled with their family from Memphis, and they were all having the best time on their vacation. Suzanne was looking forward to relaxing by their hotel pool, and Jake was especially excited to go spearfishing. There are so many fish in the sea, and he was dreaming of a great catch. But lucky Jake got the best catch of all… Check out his gorgeous bride!
One of our favorite moments from this Maui Beach Wedding was when the newlyweds had a first dance on the beach and had all their guests join in. You can tell it was extra sweet for Suzanne and Jake to be dancing beside their wonderful parents. And of course, since it was a Hawaii wedding, their first dance was to ukulele music!
We’re so honored we got to be a part of Suzanne and Jake’s wedding day! And are confident we’ll be seeing these two love birds soon — they won’t be able to stay away from Maui now that they’ve shared such an important memory here! Aloha and congrats you two!!

Maui is Cosette and Paul’s favorite place, so a Maui Venue Wedding was the ideal place for these two to say, “I do”. And they couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful location for their ceremony! Our bride and groom were greeted with a beautiful day at Maui Dragon Fruit Farm.
The Ceremony Location
The views are spectacular at this location with an overlook of the ocean! Plus there was plenty of space for our couple’s 24 guests on top of the lush green grass surrounded by a beautiful archway and Cosette and Paul’s love for each other. And they were even blessed with some rain showers in the distance which created some really breathtaking dramatic scenery!
This entire Maui Venue Wedding was so heartfelt and full of laughs, smiles, and celebration. And we can’t get over how spectacular Cosette’s hair and makeup were! She even said, “I’ve never looked this beautiful!” We have no doubt she always looks stunning and she made for such a happy Simple Maui Wedding Bride. After the ceremony, we adventured out on a nearby private beach with a unique and beautiful landscape.
Their sunset was truly one to remember and we are so glad our sister company was there to capture their special day from the beginning when Cosette walked down the aisle until the end where our newlyweds snuggled up to their wedding sunset. It was Chelsea’s idea to get married on Maui at an Ironwoods Beach Elopement, she’s always wanted to visit and David was all for the idea! He’s a “go-with-whatever-chels-says” kind of guy 🙂 . He even said himself, “Hey! Happy wife, happy life. Right?” lol.
First Look With Dad
Before the ceremony started, Chelsea’s dad and our groom took their places prior to our bride arriving. We positioned David in his ceremony spot and just a few steps by the beach entrance, we positioned Chelsea’s dad so he could have a first look moment with his daughter! When Chelsea arrived with her mom, she was so excited and extremely happy when we put the flower crown on! She felt beautiful and went straight into the first look with her dad. They were both emotional and tried to hold back tears because she said if she cried during the first look, then dad would cry, and her makeup would be destroyed.
They collected themselves, linked arms and Reverend Joe Miles blew the conch shell so David knew it was time to turn around and see his bride for the first time. It was a beautiful moment!! And one we know none of them will ever forget. They had a beautiful evening and it even rained for the first time during their stay. So they were happy to know rain is a sign of good luck!
Intimate yet Documented
Chelsea and David loved the idea of having an intimate elopement at Ironwoods Beach and then sharing amazing photos from our sister company and videos from their GoPro at their reception with all their family and friends. And we think this is a great idea because then you get the best of both worlds!

Our bride knew she wanted to have her Maui Venue Wedding with us because she didn’t want to stress about planning everything! Also to make things even easier, Alli and Anthony were already going to honeymoon here in Hawaii. So they thought they might as well get married and have a honeymoon all in one trip!
And just as much as we loved being part of their special day, we love that these two were able to include loved ones in the ceremony. In fact, Alli’s two sisters were her bridesmaids and Anthony’s two brothers were his groomsmen! Plus the ring bearers were also their nephews. How cute is that?!
Celebrating in Aloha Style
One of our favorite parts of their Maui Venue Wedding was how they embraced the Hawaiian culture and made it part of the festivities. For starters, all of their wedding attire had tropical floral prints for an added touch of fun and class! And we especially love that they invited The Catered Coconut to add a refreshing touch of paradise at their Gannon’s wedding. There is no doubt that this is a day they will all remember for the rest of their lives!

When Tara and John arrived for their Maui Beach Elopement, it was obvious how in love they are! There’s no doubt they’re “meant to be”. Just wait until you hear the story of how they met, it’s seriously so good!
At First Sight
Tara and John met in North Carolina at Happy Hour. John was on a business trip and never drinks but for some reason was pulled towards going to this bar. And when he saw Tara and that was it! Tara was actually filming on a T.V. show called Married at First Sight. So in the first few weeks of the show, John had to watch it!! And lucky for our groom, despite being a show favorite Tara left the show single and knew she wanted to be with John. The rest is history 🙂 .
Sweet Ceremony
We are so glad these two found each other and are so inspired by their love! Their ceremony could not have been sweeter! John typed out what looked like 4 pages of vows and bawled the entire time he was reading them, it was truly adorable. And even made our bride tear up!

Amanda and Taylor’s Maluaka Beach Wedding was filled with so much love and emotion! Especially since our bride’s mother had passed on. You could tell Taylor felt so much with Amanda as they talked about her mother during the ceremony! And they even had a lei on top on an empty chair at the ceremony as beautiful touch to honor her.
Amanda’s father then released the lei into the ocean with his son as part of the ceremony. And you could just tell how much they all wished she could see her beautiful daughter at her wedding. Just thinking about their special day and all the tears that were shared leaves us teary-eyed and grateful we could be part of such a meaningful occasion!
Our couple was blessed to have their closest loved ones join them during their wedding to wish them the absolute best in their new and exciting life as husband and wife. And our sister company took some amazing portraits of these newlyweds with fun little props they brought as well! Maluaka Beach was the perfect location for their wedding with the West Maui backdrop and pristine white sand.

Priscilla and Joshua were drawn to having a Maui Destination Wedding with us because our packages include photos and planning all in one! They were so happy they found us and so are we! This bride and groom initially wanted to elope, but with them both having large families, they knew it would make everyone happy to be included. And they were so glad they did!
Priscilla & Joshua’s Vows
These two seriously could not have been sweeter! When reciting their own vows, Priscilla volunteered to go first. After she went, Joshua was so nervous because he stepped out of his comfort zone and really expressed himself vocally, which is something he doesn’t do! He surprised everyone by announcing that he wrote a poem to read aloud throughout his vows. He titled the poem “On the Sea” and it talked about a time in his life where he was lost and had “given up” and so when Priscilla came into his life, he was alive again! It’s easy to see she has brought so much happiness to him, it was so cute and definitely a highlight of their Maui Destination Wedding.
Maui Wedding Attire
Besides being absolutely adorable together, this couple also looked incredible in their wedding attire! Our bride’s dress draped beautifully on the grassy lawn at Gannon’s and on the beach during wedding portraits. And our groom looked dashing in a full suit from Calvin Klein. Well done you two!
But that’s not all that caught our attention this evening. Maui wowed us with one of the most amazing sunsets we have ever seen! And we don’t say that lightly, just check out those bright colors! It’s like the heavens were sending all of their love down on our newlyweds. And one thing’s for sure, this is a day they (and we) won’t be forgetting anytime soon!

Melissa and Thomas embarked on a 15-hour adventure plane ride from Massachusetts for the Sunset Maui Elopement of a lifetime! And we are so honored we could be part of their special day 🙂 . We were greeted with beautiful soft sunset lighting that made our bride’s dress glow during the entire wedding and photos afterward! Just see for yourself.
Thomas admitted that he was worried there wouldn’t be much of a sunset because of the clouds but we always say “bring the clouds on”! That’s when we get the most beautiful sunsets sometimes! And Maui did not disappoint them with a gorgeous winter sunset that was just on fire. Seriously tho, it even blew us away!
Plus these newlyweds nailed all of their shots, laughs and intimate moments and were just a breeze to work with for their Sunset Maui Elopement. Melony and Seth were engaged for two years before getting married because they wanted their family to attend their Maui Destination Wedding. They really wanted to share their special day with loved ones, so they felt like it was the right thing to do to wait for everyone to save up and plan accordingly for their big day. And they’re so glad they did! They loved having all their close family members here!
Beach Wedding Details
Our couple also arranged for beautiful lanterns lanterns and a sign to be set up on the beach. These added details were such a subtle touch, but made all the difference! Plus it was an extra pretty day at DT Fleming. The bar by the beach was open so the guests all had a drink together before it was time to come down to the ceremony spot.
Their Maui Destination Wedding could not have been more perfect! And the cutest thing happened while our bride was waiting to walk down the aisle. A little boy leaving the beach came up to Melony like she was a Disney princess and was mesmerized by her! He couldn’t stop staring and following her around haha! It’s little details and moments like this that make a wedding day memorable and we loved being part of making this day a reality.
After saying, “I do” and taking wedding portraits our newlyweds were ready to party with an elegant and intimate reception at Merriman’s. From beginning to end this Maui Destination Wedding was literally a dream come true!
