Erin & Patrick’s beach wedding on Maui was flooded with puppy love… of the true variety! Their little dog Zoe was the guest of paw-ner, and Patrick’s brilliant daughter Taylor began the ceremony by carrying the little furbaby over to deliver the rings. We love, love, love when our couples include elements (and pets!) that elevate their Special Day into an event bursting with personality and heart!
And this Big Day was no exception! Friends and family gathered beneath the golden sun and watched on as Patrick took in the first sight of his new bride. With her arms linked with her father’s, Erin crossed over the terrace, and the moment she set foot upon the sand, Patrick could no longer hold back his emotions. The quiet pause he took to gather himself says it all…

And it’s little wonder why he was so speechless! Beach-ready hair, a spray of adorable freckles, and a tiered mermaid gown that’s curve-hugging in all the right ways? Erin is rocking this style!

But we can’t overlook Patrick’s classic tux, complete with a bowtie and maile lei and a peek of the breezy tropics… we’re all on board for this style train!

And Zoe was a pur-fect model, relaxing and just enjoying the day. She joined the family early in Erin and Patrick’s relationship… so, of course, their ceremony wouldn’t be complete without her!

Congratulations, Erin & Patrick! Thank you for trusting Simple Maui Wedding with your beach wedding on Maui. We wish you all the best in the years ahead…

This Hawaii venue wedding at Gannon’s in Wailea was a celebration to remember! No lad or las could have been happier than Donelle & Steven on this special day. Bright and vivid, the weather showcased the tropics at its finest, warmth punctuated by a sweet ocean breeze. And in addition to the tang of the sea, rolling through the air that morning was the melodic sound of the highlands… because no true Scottman’s wedding would be complete without the unmistakable legato of the bagpipes!
Our couple’s love story began in a modern way–over the internet! And now our Canadian bride and Scottish groom have brought along their closest family and traveled to the middle of the Pacific Ocean to say “I do” on one of the most beautiful islands in the world! Keep scrolling for all of the magic (and kilts)!

Decked out in black and his family’s blue and red tartan, Steven was the epitome of a groom in love. And it was hard to look away from Donnelle’s simple yet sophisticated style. Reminiscent of old Gaelic ballads, her style perfectly complemented their unique love story.

Following the ceremony, we stepped down to the shore of Southside Beach to capture some intimate moments between the couple…
And what happens when a kilt, a lovely couple, and a Maui seaside all walk into a photo… SPECTACULAR images are captured!

Maxine & Ryan’s destination wedding on Maui was elegant, simple, and intimate… not to mention spontaneous! Just three weeks before their Maui vacation, Maxine & Ryan decided to intertwine their special day into their Hawaii get-away! Free from the stress of planning the ceremony, and with the stately mountains and glistening seascape in the backdrop, our couple was able to just relax and enjoy the moment. And it was our pleasure to help give Maxine & Ryan the simple Maui wedding of their dreams!
Can we take a second to say how in awe we are over their Hollywood-worthy “meet-cute.” It’s almost as if it was written in the stars… or, rather, written in the blueprint. This fun-loving couple met after they built their houses… next door to each other! Talk about a romantic twist on the old saying, “Home is where the heart is.” Now, as a blended family, their house has never felt warmer. Just take a peek at all the heartwarming captures below!

As she made her entrance over the terrace of the Steeple House, Maxine’s father and son had the honor of walking her down the aisle. And Ryan watched on in awe, clearly ecstatic (and maybe even a little in disbelief) that this incredible woman was about to be his wife…

Following the tender ceremony, Maxine and Ryan shared their first dance under the gabled roof of the Steeple House…

And soon after, Dad had his chance to sway to-and-fro with his beautiful daughter on her wedding day…

Kristin & Andre’s vow renewal in Maui, Hawaii had us thinking about the saying, “Love is like the wind, you can’t see it but you can feel it.” And, boy, could we feel the wind and the love on this incredibly beautiful Maui day! Together for 17 years and framed by their 4 darling kids, Kristin & Andre recommitted to their union with a stress-free ceremony that put their love and their family at the forefront.
And considering how breezy and easygoing this entire crew was, it seems only fitting that the wind came out to say hello. The family was full of laughs and high spirits, and we were so impressed with how mature and insightful the kiddos are! Each young member even shared a few words during the renewal. Keep swiping for all the precious captures!

Following the wise words of Reverend Joe Miles, the children passed around a sheet of paper, and in turn, each read a heartful sentiment about their parents’ love. It was an unforgettable moment, and truly a testament to the strength of this family… not to mention precious beyond belief!

Vishi & Jason’s Maui elopement photography captured a wedding oasis, just the swelling tides, the leggy palms, our loving couple… and an unexpected guest! Let’s just say that the golden shore wasn’t the only thing soaking in the sun…
Often depicted in ancient petroglyphs, the honu (Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle) is regarded as an amakua (guardian spirit) and symbolizes endurance, good luck, and long life. What an auspicious guest to bear witness to their ceremony!
As you’re swiping, keep an eye out for all the turtle-riffic photobombs!

Vishi & Jason originally planned on eloping in California and hopping over to the island for their honeymoon. But with their families’ support and blessing, they chose to wrap it all together with a beautiful Maui Beach Wedding Package.

Vishi & Jason are the definition of a jet-setting couple. They arrived in Maui at 10:30 AM via a direct flight from Sacramento… on the day of their wedding!
And that’s really what makes a Hawaii beach elopement so unbeatable! Without large parties to plan for or additional details to take care of, a Maui elopement is perfectly suited for the flexible couple who loves beautiful island-style simplicity. We take care of everything, you only need to arrive to the locale and relish in your special day!

And with just one glance at their clasped hands and radiant expressions, we know that this love will last a lifetime…

The charming Maui vow renewal of Debra & Brandon was all sunshine and smiles! Married for 13 years, this beautiful couple celebrated their relationship on the Maui coast with just family and their adorable little ones watching on.
The powder-soft sands of Southside beach set the stage for the quaint affair, and Reverend Richardo began the ceremony by trumpeting on the Hawaiian conch shell while the children delighted in the deep and awe-inspiring sound.

We adored capturing the sincere and endearing love shared between this couple! Together since they were sixteen, their affection stole the stage. Even in the little moments, Debra and Brandon were bubbling with smiles.
They were so excited to renew their vows, that it was almost as if they were getting married for the very first time!

And can we just pause a second to say how floored we were with this entire family’s sense of style? How on-point can one family be? Classic trousers and suspenders for the guys, a whimsical floral dress for sis, and a mid-drift revealing bohemian gown for mom. We are totally fawning!

Precious beyond belief, these two sibs were more than happy to strike some Maui beach wedding poses against the ocean backdrop. And boy did they bring it!

Speaking of kiddos, can a group shot get much cuter? Like mini-me’s of their parents, this entourage had all the glam and sweetness of the wedding party, only jam-packed into five little packages of joy!

And to cap it all off, the ceremony ended with a sunset of lavender blush…

The Maui venue wedding of Nikkie & Erik began with an intimate and misty ceremony, and it finished with a splash of cherry and blush that took our breath away! Together for 11 years, these high school sweethearts said “I do” on the patio of the 5 Palms in Wailea. And we were beyond charmed with their genuine love and affection…
Although the ceremony was overcast, the guests at this wedding had the most awe-inspiring view… the endearing couple! And they really were a beautiful pair! The subtle blush-tones of Nikkie’s locks added a delicate “pop” to her traditional bridal decore and highlighted her radiant beauty. And Erik pulled off all the laidback style of a Maui groom in love.

Officiating the ceremony was the delightful Reverend Richardo. Never short of a laugh or wise insight, Richardo has the profound ability to bring about smiles and heartfelt moments of joy.

Shortly after the big “I do,” the rain ceased and the sky was washed in bursts of dusky pinks and rouge. It was almost as if the island was sending a sign and rejoicing in the couple’s new union. After all, who wouldn’t be rejoicing when greeted with smiles like these!
Of course, we took advantage of the serendipitous change and stepped out onto the shores of Keawakapu for some soft and magical couples portraits… Keep scrolling for all the blushing moments!

Subtle yet vivid… seemingly a contradiction, but the perfect way to summarize Tina & Kirill’s sophisticated venue wedding in Maui, HI. Surrounded by the outdoors beauty of the Steeple House at Kapalua, bursts of rich burgundy and mulberry added a drop of glamour to this surprisingly relaxed ceremony.
Together for over five years, Tina and Kirill first met while interning as software engineers at BlackBerry. Now residing in Seatle, this jet-setting couple flew out to the Big Island to capture their engagement photos against the tropical locale. So when it came time to say “I do” Tina and Kirill felt the “Magic Isle” would be the perfect place to get Maui’d! And it was on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains, where this couple effortlessly raised the bar for Hawaii destination weddings!
Need proof? Keep scrolling!

Draped in an ivory princess gown with a lace illusion neckline, Tina looks as if she just stepped out of a fairytale…

And speaking of fairytales, we’re head-over-heels for this gorgeous custom floral arrangement by our friends at Dellables! Boysenberry with splashes of evergreen and peach, the rich hues of this bouquet perfectly complement Tina’s natural beauty.

And in the classic black-and-white, Kirill makes for a gorgeous groom!

These spectacular portraits atop the cliffs of Ironwoods beach are epic in the most traditional sense… poetic and awe-inspiring, these captures are only paralleled by our bride and groom’s love story…

If you’re planning on saying “I do” on a white sandy shore, you may feel like you’re swimming in a wave of beach wedding bouquet options — ranging from the classic nosegay of roses to the internet craze of hot-glued seashells — Finding the perfect wedding bouquet can seem like an endless pursuit …
… Luckily, we’re here to help! Having serviced over 1,800 Maui weddings, we at Simple Maui Wedding are happy to share some of our favorite wedding bouquets from real weddings. As you seek out the perfect floral masterpiece we promise to steer you far away from those seashell-and-glue atrocities (Although they were pretty popular a few years ago).

The succulent is quickly becoming the latest beach bouquet must-have. With its voluptuous leaves and striking appearance, it’s little wonder why … If you’re searching for a touch of untamed, rugged beauty, then look no further than the hearty succulent!
Available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, the succulent is positively otherworldly, evoking fantasies of galaxies far away and jungles lost in time.
Succulents grow on every continent except Antarctica. And although they’re popularly misclassified as a type of cacti, the terms are not interchangeable.
While most cacti are indeed succulents, a significant amount of succulent plants are unrelated to cacti. This means most succulents don’t have needles–which is good news for those just-manicured bridal hands!

With roots spreading across the Mediterranean and Asia, the peony is an exquisite Eastern beauty. Because their peak season is in May, peonies are perfectly timed for an early summer beach wedding. But if your heart is set on tying the knot in the Winter or Fall … the garden rose makes for a modern frilly substitute.
Truly a maid-of-all-trades, the peony was once revered by Chinese diplomats for its medicinal properties and flavor. (Hmm … after-wedding snack, anyone?) In fact, the peony is so beloved in China it’s known as the “King of Flowers” and held the throne of the national flower until 1929.
Built like the fun-loving little sister of the dahlia, this charmer perfectly encapsulates the sunshiny vibes of a Hawaii beach wedding. The peony’s delicate yet complex layering of petals whimsically mirrors not only the flow of a wedding gown but also the waves of the sea.

Available from early spring to late autumn, these treasured blooms make the perfect beach wedding bouquet flower. Bursting in seascape hues from seafoam green to cerulean blue, the hydrangea will make a splash in any shoreside ceremony.
The Hydrangea is another popular bouquet bloom with origins in Asia. In today’s Japan, the small, star-shaped florets are brewed into a delicate tea and used to celebrate the birthday of Buddha.
As if all that’s not enough proof of this flower’s remarkable merits, the pink Hydrangea is quickly becoming an Eastern symbol of budding love. The spherical blooms are said to whisper, “You are the beat of my heart.” And the renowned florist, Tan Jun Yong, further mused over the pink hydrangea, saying, “The light delicate blush of the petals reminds me of a beating heart, while the size could only match the heart of the sender!”
We can hear you sighing over there … It’s okay, we’re sighing too.
With over 100 dainty flowers per stalk, this uniquely round beauty calls forth visions of globe sailing and ocean sprays. The rippling texture of the hydrangea stirs up memories of childhood wishing wells, casting fairy magic upon even the most sophisticated of beach weddings.

Planning on a beach wedding in Hawaii? Or just hoping to elope on the world’s most romantic sandy venue? We’re here to make your dreams come true!

The calla lily enfolds its velvety spathe around a yellow pistil, and the result is a trumpet of seemingly divine origins. Although it’s most commonly seen in hues of ivory, the calla lily is also available in the highly pigmented shades of mahogany, blush, Easter yellow, and sunset flame … not to mention black for all you posh trend-setters out there.
And because it’s cultivated to grow year-round, this bloom is a can-do for every chic and refined oceanside ceremony.
Originating in South Africa, the calla lily has been a European favorite since before the 1600s. Although technically not related to the lily species, this misnamed beauty has taken the world by storm and is now popularly considered to be the ultimate definition of elegance.
Like the rose, the symbolism of the calla lily is influenced by its coloring: white represents purity and faithfulness, pink represents fondness and admiration, purple represents passion, and yellow symbolizes thankfulness.

Available in pom-pom, pincushion, and starlike blooms. With a season ranging from late-summer through autumn and with hues from eggshell to chocolate, the dahlia brings an enchanting drop of Fall to any bridal bouquet.
The dahlia is a Mexican heartthrob worth swooning over. Originally cultivated by the Aztecs, and donning an endless abundance of petals, this versatile showstopper is a provocative beauty.

Long treasured for their feminine allure and pearlescent shimmer, orchids will bring a touch of the tropics to your floral bouquet. With over 28,000 different varieties, there’s sure to be an orchid type that will suit your venue and set your heart aglow. Not sure where to have your beach wedding? Check out our list of gorgeous Maui beach wedding locations.
Reminiscent of the heavenly Hawaiian rainbow, orchids bloom in every vivid color of the prism–from pistachio green to gradients of amethyst and cream, this exotic showstopper is sure to make a statement as you stroll down the sandy shore.
The delicate orchid is said to represent desire, virility, and beauty. In fact, it’s so intimately linked to romance, that the ancient Greeks dubbed it “orkhis,” which means … well, we’ll let you look that one up!

The fragrant eucalyptus perfumes the dreams of lovers. Bursting with the fresh and vibrant scents of crushed mint and upturned soil, and laced with subtle hints of just-picked lavender, eucalyptus sprigs are evocative bouquet inclusions that bring romance to the forefront.
Most species of eucalyptus are native to Australia and many can grow upwards of 200 feet!
Not only are the greens a favorite treat for adorable koala bears, but they’re also considered a sign of good fortune and positive outcomes. If a piece of eucalyptus bark is worn around the neck, then the wearer is said to bring good luck to whoever they encounter. You can’t go wrong with these special greens!

Curved into a perfect heart with a spike-shaped spadix at the center, the Anthurium has us dreaming of a young lover just pierced by Cupid’s arrow. Originating from South America and as glossy as can be, few flowers are as memorable as the lacy Anthurium.
Anthurium means “Tail Flower” in Greek, but this beauty also goes by “Lace Flower” and “Flamingo Flower.”
Native to South and Tropical America, Anthuriums grow in over 700 different varieties and bloom year-long. So, no matter what season you plan on having your beach wedding, the anthurium will be ready to make an impact!

Weaving in local foliage is a stylish and economical way to add a sense of place and culture to your Hawaiian destination wedding. From ferns and jade vines to the grand monstera and sacred Ti leaf, no beach bride is complete without a touch of tropical greenery.
Although the monstera leaf isn’t indigenous to Hawaii, its gorgeous jigsaw leaves can be spotted throughout the islands–keep an eye out for it during the spectacular drive to Hana!
Valued for their medicinal properties, some species of Hawaiian ferns have been alive and blooming for the last 1,000 years. Nope, that wasn’t a typo! Lace a couple into your bouquet, and you’ll quite literally be carrying a piece of the islands with you on your special day.

Proteas are available in many striking varieties, but few are as sensational as the king protea. Transcending time with its prehistoric beauty, this stately king is sure to draw the eye of every guest! That’s why this bloom is true to its name and reigns supreme on our list of top beach wedding bouquets!
The king protea symbolizes diversity and courage. With African origins, this mesmerizing titan now graces the slopes of every Hawaiian island and is quickly becoming a must-have for any beach wedding bouquet.
With a feather-soft belly cradled in lush peach and fuschia petals, the king protea is sure to take center stage. Including one of these royal blooms will give you a beach wedding bouquet that your guests won’t soon forget!

With the beautiful simplicity of a beach locale, our custom bouquet is an ideal way to bring in the colors you love and give the affair that personal touch.
Whether you’re looking for a dramatic collection of vibrant flowers to serve as a sharp pop of color against the scenery, or a softer blend of shades to complement the warm pastel hues of the tropical sunset, there’s sure to be a beach bouquet perfectly tailored to your style.
Come drop by our site for all your beach wedding in Maui inspiration! Or read our blog for intimate details on real Maui shoreline ceremonies.
Bouquets date back to Medieval times. To ensure the longevity of their love and to ward off evil spirits, the bride and groom often decked themselves in garlands of herbs and garlic (With the added bonus of masking that pungent scent of Medieval body odor!). Thankfully, the garlic is long gone! And today’s modern brides have the luxury of sophisticated blooms bursting with personality and delicate scents.
Ever wonder why the bride traditionally tosses these luscious floral blooms of eye-candy? Well, tucker down because we’ve got a story for you!
Back in the Medieval Ages, brides were considered lucky commodities and guests just couldn’t leave without having a piece of their own “good luck” charm … so, instead of saying their fond farewells after grabbing a piece of delectable red velvet and buttercream wedding cake, the guests of old snatched and tore at pieces of the bride instead–leaving her buzzed and blushing in all the wrong ways!
Until one fateful day, a witty young bride tossed her bouquet into her frothing swarm of admirers, tempting them into ripping at the petals for souvenirs while she and the groom dashed away to the safety of their wedding chambers. After which, the groom flung out his new wife’s garter to further satiate the crowd.
And while today the bride is still considered as lucky as can be, thankfully the times (AND guests!) have changed. So if you choose to toss that bodacious bouquet of yours, cast a glance around at your admiring guests and take heart in the fact that if you decide to ask for it back, you’ll surely end the night with your flowers (and yourself!) in one piece.
Legend has it, whoever catches the bride’s bouquet will be the next one walking down the aisle.
So anyone who wishes to tie the knot with a partner in the near future can stand behind the bride in hopes of catching the bouquet. Of course, to actually catch the bouquet, your guests will need some fairly deft “bouquet catching” (or snatching!) skills.
A basic bouquet will start at $300 and go up according to your specific flower choices and customizations. Styles that require more blooms, like a cascading bouquet, will generally cost more than the traditional nosegay choices.
Although they’re Hawaiian island classics, we don’t recommend the plumeria and hibiscus as part of a beach bouquet because they’re incredibly quick to wilt and brown once picked. And with the time spent traveling, performing the ceremony, and photographing those gorgeous sunset portraits, this means that both flowers are unsuited for beach wedding bouquets … the last thing you want is a bloom that checks-out for the night before you’ve even said: “I do.”
Planning on a beach wedding in Hawaii? Or just hoping to elope on the world’s most romantic sandy venue? We’re here to make your dreams come true!

Kim & David highlighted their exquisite taste throughout their stunning Maui venue wedding. A simple color palette of gold and blush paired beautifully against the vivid panoramic west ocean views of the Dragon Fruit Farm.
Brought together by a “crazy” cousin, Kim and David didn’t expect to fall head-over-heels in love… but there’s no stopping an instant attraction! And it didn’t take long for these lovebirds to realize they were destined for forever.
So with their closest friends and family watching on, Kim and David said “I do” beneath the warm Maui sun…

In a lace-embellished mermaid gown, complete with a sweeping trail and a fingertip-length veil, Kim is the walking embodiment of beauty. Her entrance left everyone at her Maui venue wedding breathless… especially her soon-to-be husband…

And decked in white with pops of yellow and blush, David is rather breathtaking himself!

A gorgeous color palette, a gorgeous view… and a gorgeous wedding party!

It was endless blue skies and cool tropical breezes for this Maui beach elopement on Wailea’s Southside shoreline. The night before Beatriz & Giovanni’s special day, a dusting of snow graced the Haleakala summit, anointing the occasion with the heavenly mana of the island…
Hailing from Austin, this joyous couple first bumped wheels at the skatepark–and within moments, their hearts were flipping along with their boards! Four years later, in the warmth of his parent’s loving home, Giovanni asked Beatriz to spend forever with him… and she said yes, of course!
Keep swiping for all the heart-flipping beauty of their Maui beach wedding…

The kindhearted Kahu Richardo Hanako’o officiated the ceremony. And as Giovanni’s mother and father bore witness, a small pod of humpbacks danced across the oceanfront while the couple said: “I do.”

Although it was Giovanni’s parents who were physically present for the union, Beatriz’s family was there in spirit… They rested close to her in precious photo charms laced around her bouquet with ribbons of baby-blue.

Whales, blue skies, and snow… how many auspicious signs can one couple have during their Maui destination wedding? There’s always room for one more!
The ceremony faded into the night with a blissful sunset of soft cherry and lavender, perfectly suited to this couple’s spunky magic.

A Maui beach wedding is the ultimate ceremony location! The salty mist of the rolling sea, the white powdery sand, the kiss of the late-afternoon sun on your shoulders make for all the perfect ceremony elements. Hello paradise!
While the ocean provides a splash of the to your big day,Mother Nature can be wild and unpredictable; especially on an island! It takes a certain adventurous spirit to appreciate her exquisite beauty. Wind, tropical rainstorms, rougue waves, and all!
Some couples prefer a ceremony right by the water, even if its a public affair with limited control. Others prefer the privacy and predictability afforded by one of our gorgeous Maui wedding venues. Both options are romantic and highlight unique features of the island … but which one is right for you?

Since 2009, Simple Maui Wedding has serviced nearly 2000 wedding ceremonies, and we’ve learned how important it is to carefully consider the pros and cons of a beach wedding before making your final decision. Doing so will guarantee a happy day which celebrates you, your partner, and your love … because that’s truly what it’s all about!
If you’ve answered “yes” to all of these, then a Maui beach ceremony might be perfect for you! Follow along with us as we explore these four beach wedding mindset “Must-Haves” …
Ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 less than our venue ceremonies, a Maui beach wedding package is a simple yet stunning alternative. If you love the idea of keeping it easy and breezy, then let the tropical greenery and panoramic views do the decorating for you! This truly is a “must-have” because many decorative items are prohibited on Maui beaches. Saying “I do” on the beach might not be the ideal option if you had your heart set on white chairs and a ceremonial arch on the beach (or anything else that needs to be stuck into the sand).
There are, however, a few clever workarounds that we’re more than happy to provide. Standing in a personalized flower circle that matches your bouquet is a lovely and unique way to tie the knot. And our custom “Just Maui’d” sign adds that extra “postcard-worthy” flair to your pictures. Flower sconces are beautiful options that add an elegant and celebratory touch!
Lastly, think about personal elements you can bring to the ceremony! Our couples love getting creative by including touching details that make their day even more unique and personal…

Since the maxium guest limit set by state law is 30, by design a beach ceremony is bound to be inimate and simple. So if your dream wedding is just the two of you with your nearest and dearest by your side, then a sandy beach might just be the perfect location for you!
Because of the inimacy of a beach ceremony, your guests will be standing close by, ready to celebrate with warm hugs just moments following the sacred kiss. We love the charming chit-chat and laughter shared between guests and couples during the ceremony, but we recognize such intimacy and informality isn’t for everyone. If you love the idea of a small and close-knit ceremony, then read on for more mindset must-haves!

Nature is unpredicable. Be prepared that anything can happen during a beach wedding …
Does this include a breathtaking Hawaiian rainbow arching across the sky? Yes, they are the islands signature! But like the word implies – rain is apart of the picture! Having a beach wedding requires flexibility. We try our utmost to ensure that everything goes according to plan and that your Maui wedding is as stress-free and as you’ve imagiuned, but there are some natural forces outside of our control …

Given the enviromental conditions of being on an island, rain is always a possibility on Maui. Also, episodes of brush fires and close-calls with hurricanes are not unheard of either. Thankfully, our team is phenomenally dedicated and always up-to-date on potential curveballs. We keep a well-trained eye on the clouds and we’ve had great success pulling off emergency location swaps that take our couples from rain to shine. While we can never guarantee it will be sunny, if we believe the weather will be milder at another shoreside, we may advise you to make a last minute switch. This means that having flexibility could make the difference between rainbows and rain showers.

That said, there are rare occasions when the clouds are island-wide … and in these cases, we bring out the umbrellas and get ready to make a splash! If you’re unfamiliar with how charming and fun a rainy beach wedding can be, these photos say it all! There’s a reason why rain is considered a blessing in Hawaii…
Have questions about planning for the weather? Read our tips on preparing for a rainy beach wedding.
It’s not just rain that might require your flexibility, it could be anything from jellyfish warnings, highsurf advisories, to children’s birthday parties … or even things we haven’t yet experienced! Allowing and embracing change will help prepare you for big day with your partner, come what may … at the end of the day your love and committment is ultimately the only thing that really matters!

There’s nothing like the photo-bombing magic of humpback whales frolicking in the waterfront as you say “I do.” … But what about an elderly man in a speedo and cowboy hat frolicking in the waves while you exchange rings? Yes, we’ve seen it before! It’s these moments that truly require a “go-with-the-flow” attitude which an make or break your special day.
With the exception of a few government areas, all beaches in Hawaii are open to the public. This can mean anything from children and dogs to barbeques and loud music… and yes, even a speedo or two. And due to regulations, we’re unable to ask anyone to leave or move during our time on the beach. But luckily our all-star photo editing team is on the job! And with their magic editing wands (and hours of hard work), they make those beachgoers in fade (quite literally) into the background. Although, we can photoshop that puppy or beach birthday party out to an extent – if the beach is very crowded it can be too diffcult to erase everyone out! So to that we say – we’ll do our best and embrace it!

Here’s an example of their “Before & After” artistry:

*While our team is extremely talented, we can only guarantee complete removal of beachgoers at one of our specially selected beach locations.
A carefree attitude during these unexpected moments can make the difference between laughter and merriment or frowns and contempt. A difficult time parking can be viewed as an adventurous detour. A wave that splashes up to your knees becomes an embrace from the sea. A curious child venturing too close becomes a friendly face you won’t soon forget. We can always remove the sunbathers, but we can’t photoshop that enchanting twinkle into your eyes as you look at your partner, so let it shine!

It’s common for a bride or groom to have a to-do-list on their wedding day. While it can be a very effective strategy, it can also turn a day that should be bursting with happiness into just another chore to finish.
We’re here to get those chores done! After working with numerous wedding clients we know what works, and know what’s going to give you the best experience possible. Beach weddings are all about the individual moment. We go above and beyond to ensure that everything goes according to plan, but sometimes details need to be adjusted moment-by-moment…especially if they are at the beach.
Your ability to let go and trust in our many years of knowledge not only keeps the ceremony running as smoothly as possible, but also allows you to relax and indulge in your magical day. Things change, and that’s okay.
You may have a beautiful vision of a noon wedding on the beach. While we think this sounds lovely, we know from experience that the best time for a shoreline ceremony is during the early morning or late afternoon. Not only is the sun hot and harsh during the midday hours, but the lighting is also extremely difficult to photograph and unflattering. Shadows under the eyes and glistening foreheads along with sweaty unhappy guests are common occurrences for mid-day ceremonies. And no one wants that on their big day! We want you to feel and look your best on your big day, including as your guests!
So, trust us to be your guide! We’ll work with you to create a dream beach wedding that’s achievable, comfortable, and as magical as can be …

So after considering these factors you’ve made up your mind; you know that a beach wedding is perfect for you. Now what? First, let us say that we are SO happy for you! You’re one step closer to your dreamy beach wedding!
And now that you know what a beach wedding is truly like, take a moment to go over a few of our shoreline wedding tips:

Maui Venue weddings can truly be the best of both worlds!Because after the ceremony (as long as weather and time permits), it’s often possible to travel down to the shoreline for some exquiste newlywed photos like the ones below!

So regardless if you decide to say “I do” at sunset to the sounds of the waves or on the terrace of an elengant venue, you can’t go wrong with a Simple Maui wedding!
