Lisa (dental assistant, dart aficionado, and all-around sunshine) and Wolfi (construction manager and billiards boss) have been together since 2006. Their origin story includes cocktails, club lights, and a proposal at a Bryan Adams concert to Everything I Do (I Do It For You). Honestly, could it be more cinematic?

They were married civilly in 2015, but Lisa always dreamed of a vow renewal in Hawaii. Not just anywhere in Hawaii, but Maui. They came all the way from Austria to make this dream come true…finally! And not just any ceremony, this one included their daughters, Sophia (11) and Mila (10), on the beach at Ironwoods, barefoot and beaming under the golden sun. It was the kind of day where time slows down, the breeze feels like a blessing, and the ocean applauds with every wave.

There was something beautifully carefree about the whole moment. No shoes. No stress. Just laughter, sea spray, and heartfelt promises whispered between two people who’ve already lived a thousand chapters together, and still choose each other every day. Their girls stood beside them, sweet witnesses to their parents’ enduring love, soaking up the joy of it all.

When you picture a July 4th celebration, you might think: fireworks, flags, BBQ. But this Independence Day? It was all about love, laughter, and two people saying I do on the edge of paradise. Dain and Heather’s Maui venue wedding at Merriman’s was the kind of dreamy, heart-melting magic that feels like it belongs in a Nicholas Sparks novel… if Nicholas Sparks were a little saltier and more obsessed with floral lace gowns.

With the stunning oceanfront property as their backdrop, Dain and Heather gathered with an intimate group of their closest people. The kind of crowd that makes you feel at home even when you’re standing barefoot on the most breathtaking coastline on Earth. The sun filtered through soft clouds, the waves whispered in the background, and then there they were: hand in hand, hearts wide open, exchanging vows just feet from the surf…

Heather looked radiant! Her dress was a floral lace dream with a veil that danced with the wind. Dain wore a light suit and the kind of smile that said, Yep, I’ve waited my whole life for this. It was everything a wedding should be: joyful, meaningful, a little breezy (thank you, ocean winds), and radiating pure happiness. With close family and friends surrounding them, Mike and Jessica stepped into their next chapter, framed by the island that already held so much of their story.

For Mike, Maui has been a cherished place for years; he grew up visiting Ka’anapali with his family! For Jessica, it holds a deep family connection as well, since her parents were married here years ago. There’s something beautifully full-circle about two people falling in love, building a life together, and returning to a place that’s been quietly weaving itself into both of their stories all along.

Their love story actually started thanks to a well-timed introduction by mutual friends. Mike heard Jessica would be visiting an event in town, and like any self-respecting romantic lead, he showed up, fully intending to meet her. And he did. And the rest, as they say, is history…

When the idea of a Maui wedding venue popped into Carina’s mind, she knew it was the perfect fit for their laid-back yet romantic style. So, with excitement in their hearts and a little drizzle in the air (which, as they say, is good luck!), they said “I do” at Gather in Kihei. After all, it’s supposedly good luck!

The sprinkle of rain only added to the romance of the moment, making their ceremony even more unique. After exchanging vows, they sought shelter, finding solace in each other’s arms as they waited for the sky to clear.

But when it did, it was like a dream come true. With the sun peeking through the clouds, Carina and Oliver ventured down to Southside Beach for their newlywed portraits. Against the backdrop of the sparkling ocean, they radiated happiness and love.

Carina brought a touch of glam and sparkle to the occasion, while Oliver looked dapper as ever. We love the gold and black theme! Their smiles said it all – they were overjoyed to be starting this new chapter of their lives together!
