Chelsie made her entrance across the sand, her long dress trailing delicately behind her and her smile brighter than the sun. Maya and Lucy led the way, scattering petals in the sand as the ocean breeze danced around them. All eyes were on Chelsie, radiant and graceful, walking toward the man she’s loved for a decade and the life they’ve built together…

A Family Moment

And then came the most touching moment. As their daughters, Maya (8) and Lucy (4), scattered petals as flower girls, the ceremony became a family affair in every sense. Dustin placed a necklace with their daughters’ birthstones around Chelsie’s neck, a piece designed to celebrate not only their marriage but the family they’ve built. Together, they then placed matching necklaces around their girls’ necks, each one glimmering with love, connection, and the promise of forever.

This special day fell on their exact ten-year anniversary, October 3rd, making it all the more meaningful. Instead of exchanging new wedding bands, they honored their love in a deeply personal way. Their original rings were newly engraved—“C <3 D” inside his, “D <3 C” inside hers, a subtle but powerful reminder that some symbols never fade.

The ocean shimmered in approval as they celebrated as one happy family. Our cameras captured it all, the golden light, the joy, and the way Chelsie and Dustin looked at each other like no time had passed at all.

You know that trope in romantic comedies where two people with wildly different hobbies fall madly in love and somehow make it all work? That’s Taylor and Andrew. She rides majestic dressage horses with the kind of poise that would make even a Disney princess feel underdressed. He rolls around (gracefully, we assume) in Jiu-Jitsu classes. Together? They’re the perfect blend of grit, grace, and romance and they tied the knot under dreamy plumeria trees.

Let’s rewind just a bit. Taylor and Andrew met through mutual friends (thank you, universe)! And eventually found themselves engaged on a literal cliff in the Arkansas Ozark Mountains. Yes, a cliff. With panoramic views and enough drama to rival any Jane Austen adaptation. Which, frankly, set the bar pretty high for their Maui wedding venue.

But Taylor had never been to Hawaii before and if you’re going to choose a place for your first-ever Hawaiian experience, it might as well be Maui, right? Andrew had been before and together they decided, hey, let’s get married AND honeymoon here. One flight. Double the magic!

Their wedding at the Four Seasons Maui was nothing short of cinematic. Beneath swaying plumeria trees and with the ocean humming gently in the background, Taylor and Andrew exchanged vows that had everyone swooning. But before all that? There was a first look.

Plumeria Point at the Four Seasons isn’t just a location—it’s a feeling. With the Pacific sparkling in the distance, soft petals drifting on the breeze, and sunlight filtering through the trees like nature’s own spotlight, it was the kind of setting that made everyone collectively sigh.

Taylor walked toward Andrew with that once-in-a-lifetime kind of glow, and he looked at her like he already knew he’d just made the best decision of his life. The intimacy of the moment, the gentle hush of the ocean in the background, and the fragrance of plumeria in the air, it all felt like Maui itself was giving them its blessing.

Grace, a powerhouse Retail Store Manager for the past ten years, met Joseph back in 2009 when they were both working at the same mall in Hayward, California. By early 2010, they knew—like really knew—that they were each other’s person. But they were also practical. In their early twenties, they weren’t in a rush. Life was unfolding. College needed finishing. Careers needed building. So, they held off—but never let go…

A Lifetime Ahead

In 2012, Joseph proposed in the sweetest, most understated way possible—at home in Monterey, in a space already filled with love and shared memories. And over the years that followed, they continued to support each other through everything: Grace’s incredible career longevity, and Joseph’s rise in the tech world, working for the likes of Apple, Tesla, and Google. No biggie! Joseph is driven, hopeful, and ready to bring his experience to a new chapter with the love of his life by his side.

So when it came time to finally say “I do,” there was only one place that felt right: Hawaii. The islands were a favorite destination for each of them before they met—so it felt serendipitous that Hawaii would now become the place they started their forever, together.

We are delighted to share Gloria and Randy’s Maui 50th wedding anniversary and their love story! The officiant welcomed everyone with a warm smile, setting the tone for a joyous occasion. They shared stories about marriage and the incredible milestone of reaching 50 years together…

With their love and warmth setting the stage, it was Randy’s turn to share his feelings. As a retired nurse practitioner and family doctor, he’s always busy taking care of his loved ones. From picking up his grandson Milo from school to walking the dogs, Randy is a man of many tasks. And let’s not forget his love for river trips, a hobby he shares with many of the celebration attendees, though not with Gloria. River trips aren’t her cup of tea. Instead, Gloria relishes lunch dates with her friends, savoring good food and engaging in conversations.

Both Randy and Gloria have traveled the world, collecting memories along the way. As high school sweethearts, their love story began long ago, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. With their daughter Samantha and grandson Milo by their side, the celebration truly became a family affair. The happiness was palpable as everyone gathered on the beach to commemorate this remarkable milestone…

Highschool Loves

Throughout the evening, Gloria and Randy looked absolutely radiant! Gloria was the picture of elegance in her cream dress with her white blooms, and Randy looked very sharp in his pale green suit. It was as if they were transported back to their high school days, with love and affection lighting up their faces. Their connection was undeniable, and their joy was infectious as they read their endearing words aloud…

Their inimate celebration was held at Gather, one of our favorite venues for a Maui wedding. The view, the privacy, and the grassy lawn make it such a beautiful location to tie the knot! And as you can see, Carly and Jordan opted for a stunning driftwood arch with tropical florals to serve as the altar under the swaying palm trees. Their Maui destination wedding had all the elements they were looking for – simplicity, elegance, rustic, with unique details.

Their intimate ceremony was full of emotion as they said their vows in front of those who mattered most to them. The way they look at each other says it all!

Cherishing This Moment

Carly was a vision in a frothy gown! The combination of pink and green flowers is so fresh! They both look so happy in these newlywed portraits! Jordan was smiling ear to ear and opted for a sharp beige three-piece suit. Both are still in college and have spent half of their relationship in the pandemic, so this marks a new chapter of their romance and the beginning of many new adventures together!

The ceremony at Wailea Beach Resort was filled with sentimental touches as Luisa and Fred exchanged vows and reminisced about the sweet moments of their growing bond. Their daughters, Tawny and Eileen coordinated the entire event with our team, taking care of every detail. They wanted their parents to have the wedding they always wanted to have! How sweet is that? This was their day to celebrate!

Their 50th Maui vow renewal ceremony was a celebration of their journey together, and it was clear that their marriage had only grown stronger over time. The proximity to the ocean added an extra layer of beauty and romance to the event! This happy couple, who both work remotely in Seattle, wanted their wedding to be the best vacation yet – and they definitely succeeded! It was an amazing day surrounded by their nearest and dearest, as you’ll see in the highlights below!

Sacred & Special

The gorgeous grounds at Steeple House in Kapalua where it all happened…their sacred commitment to love, cherish, and honor each other for the rest of their lives… The gravity of this moment never surpasses all of us at Simple Maui Wedding!

Surrounded by friends and family, our lovely couple looked absolutely radiant with joy as they tied the knot. The stone terrace and stairs, especially at the Steeple House, provided a majestic spot for their ceremony and portraits, highlighting their love and connection truly breathtakingly! The sunshine filtering through the trees only added to the magic of their lovely day. Getting married in Maui was a dream come true! (Their dog is even named Maui!)

These love birds met online in 2018, and on their third dating anniversary, Edwin proposed during a hike to a waterfall picnic. It was just the two of them, and the moment was absolutely perfect! Now the moment they made it official, it’s really happening! Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Lantigua!

The expansive lawn at the Steeple House provided ample space and opportunities for photo ops for the happy couple. The bright blue sky and greenery make their Maui wedding photos feel so light and airy! As they looked out onto the ocean, it reminded us their Maui venue wedding was just the beginning of their next adventure together!

Who says old-school romance doesn’t exist? Not Lexi and Connor, who proved that true love can weather any storm. These two self-proclaimed “old souls” are all about communication, friendship, and investing in their future together. So when they decided to tie the knot with a Maui beach wedding, we knew it was going to be something special! Although they never thought of each other as more than friends in high school, Connor took a leap of faith and slid into Lexi’s DMs in 2018. After their first date, Lexi knew that he was the one for her, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. A high school romance always gets us teary-eyed!

Their sunset ceremony was breathtaking, with friends and family gathered around to witness their love and commitment to each other. Lexi and Connor’s words were heartfelt and sincere, and you could feel the love and connection between them…Connor made sure not to get a peek at his bride beforehand!

As Maui wedding planners, they were excited to finally bring their vision to life, and it was clear that every detail of their day was thoughtfully considered! From the elegant simplicity of their ceremony to the playfulness of their portraits, Lexi and Connor’s Maui beach wedding day perfectly reflected their personalities and love for each other.

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Lexi and Connor grew even closer through quality time spent together at home. And now, they are looking forward to a bright future together with their dog Apple, filled with love, laughter, and endless possibilities!

High School Sweethearts

Who said you can’t find love in unexpected places? For Lexi and Connor, high school friends turned to soulmates, their love story is proof that sometimes you have to take a chance and see where it leads you.

We couldn’t be happier for these two! This was also their first time in Hawaii, so everything felt so surreal…

We’re absolutely thrilled to share the beautiful love story of Ricquell and Garrett and their Maui beach wedding! The couple started dating when they were just 15 years old, bonding over their shared love for guitar and singing. They even participated in school talent shows together! Since then, they’ve navigated life side by side, from college to new jobs to adulting.

After eight wonderful years together, the couple knew it was time to tie the knot in a beautiful location outside of their home state. A Maui wedding was the perfect choice for them as they sought an intimate ceremony in a stunning setting. They both love being by the beach and soaking up the beautiful scenery and atmosphere that comes with it. You’ll love how beautiful their dream day turned out!

Their special day began with a glorious flower circle at the water’s edge at Maluaka Beach, setting the stage for a touching and heartfelt ceremony. It was clear from the moment they said “I do” that they are so happy and in love!

Sealed With A Kiss

Their touching vows were carried off into the ocean breeze and sealed with a kiss! We wanted to take full advantage of all the gorgeous scenery of the picturesque setting for their photo ops! Everyone was ready to celebrate the happy newlyweds! The air was filled with joy, love, and laughter. But first things first! We captured the thoughtful details, some family photos, and of course, their newlywed portraits with the soft golden sun.

Ricquell looks so stunning in an embroidered gown! We love that champagne pinky shade; it is illuminated in golden light! Garrett looks so sharp in his tailored suit too! They make a beautiful pair…
