Their story began with an unexpected twist of fate when Chris sold one of his horses to Alexy’s parents in 2020. They were both involved in separate relationships at the time and had no inkling of the romance that awaited them. However, as life took its twists and turns, they found themselves single and open to new possibilities. Despite initial hesitations stemming from parental nudges, Alexy eventually gave Chris a chance and discovered a true Southern gentleman in him.
It wasn’t long before their bond deepened, and Chris decided to seal their love with a proposal on a picturesque hike in the San Tan Mountains in Arizona. Ensuring that Trickster, Alexy’s Australian Shepherd, was part of the special moment, Chris orchestrated a heartwarming proposal that set the stage for their upcoming journey as a couple. And now they tied the knot at their Maui elopement, and it was the most beautiful evening!

With Chris hailing from Texas and Alexy from Rapid City, South Dakota, their love transcended geographical boundaries. As they prepare to welcome twin boys this July, their Maui elopement served as a testament to their enduring commitment.
