We ended the year with a tropical bang with Margot and Garrett’s Maui venue wedding! It was a truly magical and unforgettable experience that was a pleasure to coordinate. The couple was so excited to celebrate their love with their friends and family so keep reading to relive their magical day with us!

The ceremony took place on the stunning oceanfront lawn at Wailea Beach Resort, with breathtaking views of the Pacific as a backdrop! The couple exchanged vows under a gorgeous driftwood arch adorned with pink and orange tropical blooms. The ceremony was meaningful and emotional; you could feel the profound love between Margot and Garrett… Seeing how moved our beautiful couple was at first glance was so endearing!

After their beautiful ceremony, we walked down to the beach with our happy newlyweds for a few sunset portraits to end their Maui venue wedding! And boy, did they have the most amazing colors to mark their incredible day! The golden hour reflected the blissful and romantic ambiance that surrounded our beautiful newlyweds. They were utterly lost in each other’s embrace and kiss!

How gorgeous is Margot with her vibrant blooms! She looks so radiant in the sun’s golden glow…truly exquisite! And Garrett looked equally handsome in his blue suit that complemented the deep ocean blue in the distance…

The day you get married will always be magical — especially when you’re tying the knot with your best friend! Harshil and Olivia wanted to have a tropical island wedding. After searching countless destinations, they knew a Hawaii beach elopement would be perfect for them! Keep scrolling to see this splendid Maui event for yourself.

Setting the scene for this occasion was the long sandy shore of Polo Beach. The weather was flawless; a few scattered clouds were in the sky, and you could see the sun’s vibrant rays! Surrounding our beautiful couple were striking lava rocks, cerulean waves, and vivid greenery.

Why We Adore Their Hawaii Beach Elopement

Classic and intimate are the first words we think of when we see Harshil and Olivia’s special day. This wedding was full of good vibes! Only our gorgeous couple was in attendance, so we found a secluded area on the shore for the ceremony. Reverend Joe Miles was the officiant, and he shared a few laughs with Harshil and Olivia. Most importantly, Gaucho Visuals recorded this event, and Karma Hill Photography captured many heartwarming moments. We have no doubts this lovely duo and their families will be able to treasure this occasion forever!

Our Couples Story

Harshil and Olivia’s story began in 2009 at a Halloween party. At the time, they were both freshmen at the University of Washington in Seattle. Our stunning couple originally started as good friends, but they couldn’t stay away from one another! In June 2012, they began dating, and on June 10, 2019, Harshil popped the question. Although the proposal was simple, it was memorable because they got engaged somewhere meaningful to them!

Harshil and Olivia’s relationship survived during many stages — from medical school to living long distances from one another. Their beach elopement in Hawaii started a new chapter for these newlyweds. We know this delightful couple can’t wait to embark on it as husband and wife and best friends!

Subtle yet vivid… seemingly a contradiction, but the perfect way to summarize Tina & Kirill’s sophisticated venue wedding in Maui, HI. Surrounded by the outdoors beauty of the Steeple House at Kapalua, bursts of rich burgundy and mulberry added a drop of glamour to this surprisingly relaxed ceremony.

Together for over five years, Tina and Kirill first met while interning as software engineers at BlackBerry. Now residing in Seatle, this jet-setting couple flew out to the Big Island to capture their engagement photos against the tropical locale. So when it came time to say “I do” Tina and Kirill felt the “Magic Isle” would be the perfect place to get Maui’d! And it was on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains, where this couple effortlessly raised the bar for Hawaii destination weddings!

Move over Folgers, the new best part of waking up is getting to marry the love of your life! That’s just what Ty and Erika did at their beautiful morning Maui Destination Wedding!

Their Love Story

Fate brought these two together when Erika was interning at Ty’s college all the way from Brazil! They fell in love and dated long distance for three years going back and forth between Texas and Brazil. They are finally getting to be together living in Boston and loving the life they are building together.

Erika had never been to Hawaii at all and Ty had been two other islands but not Maui. So it was they got to experience Maui for the first time together. When they decided on a destination wedding in Maui they said they wanted to book us because our website was so well put together and made them confident we would put the same level of detail into planning their wedding, Thank you two!!

Their Wedding Day

Erika wanted the first time Ty saw her on their Maui wedding day to be when she was making her entrance to their ceremony, it was a beautiful moment to see Ty admiring his soon to be wife walking towards him to the ceremony.

Surrounded by close family and Erika’s dad on a live stream, they said their vows to a bright sunny morning on a nearly empty beach with the sound of waves crashing nearby and soft ocean breezes. After the ceremony, they celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony and then some beautiful photos to remember the beautiful morning Maui destination wedding.

We especially loved that they chose to add on our Just Maui’d sign with floral, it looked so pretty against the bright blue ocean!

Melanie and Eric’s Maui Destination Wedding was filled with so much love and beauty at one of the island’s best venues, The Steeple House. It was so touching to see this couple surrounded by family members and friends at their Maui Destination Wedding! After the ceremony everyone shared a toast and traditional cake cutting. Yoshimi and Aaron’s Maui Venue Wedding was truly spectacular! After meeting by chance at an event in Aaron’s hometown of Wellington, NZ these two wanted their wedding day to be every bit as special as their love story. While they had to overcome many cultural differences while dating, the bond they share is unbreakable! It was especially touching to witness as they moved closer together during their ceremony to exchange a few private vows for only their ears. We think this is such a sweet idea and know it’s an experience neither of them will ever forget!

The details at this Maui Venue Wedding were almost unreal! These custom florals created by Dellables were so so good. We love how deep berry colored flowers mixed with greenery created an elegantly romantic vibe at The Steeple House! That’s not all that was on point though, this couple’s wedding attire was so stunning they looked like they belonged in a magazine! Yoshimi looked breathtakingly beautiful in a princess line wedding dress that was so gorgeous we are still obsessing over it. Her groom looked equally stylish in a formal suit, he expertly paired a navy jacket with a light gray vest and slacks. These two are sharp dressers that’s for sure! Working with them to make this day a dream come true, was an absolute pleasure. Thank you, Yoshimi and Aaron, for letting Simple Maui Wedding participate in celebrating your marriage!
