In the picturesque paradise of Maui, our lovely couple, Brittni and Jake, said “I do” surrounded by their loved ones. From the moment Brittini walked down the grassy aisle to the glowing newlywed portraits, their Maui venue wedding was simply beautiful in every way!

As you can imagine, Brittni and Jake eagerly awaited their special day. Their excitement was palpable as they prepared to share this momentous occasion with their friends and family in the breathtaking tropical setting. Maui is one of their favorite places in the whole world! The anticipation and happiness were evident the moment their intimate ceremony began…

Maui Felt Right

Maui holds a special place in Brittni’s heart, having visited before and fallen in love with its beauty. For both Brittni and Jake, exchanging vows in paradise felt like the most special way to start their journey together. Maui, with its stunning landscapes and serene atmosphere, became the perfect backdrop for their love story.

The couple chose Gather, one of our most popular venues on the south side of the island. Nestled on a grassy lawn overlooking the ocean, it offers the best of both worlds – easy access to the beach and a beautiful venue! This private spot provided an intimate setting for their ceremony, where their love and commitment to each other shone brightly, just like the Hawaiian sun!

After the heartfelt ceremony, Brittni and Jake headed to the nearby beach, Southside Beach, just a quick drive away, to capture some breathtaking sunset photos. The lighting was sublime, casting a golden glow upon the couple as they posed against the backdrop of the ocean! This is why we absolutely love newlywed portraits on the beach – the lighting never disappoints! The glowing ambiance added to the magic of the moment!

As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky with pastel hues, Brittni and Jake embraced the perfect ending to their wedding day. The combination of the stunning scenery, their love for each other, and the presence of their loved ones made this unforgettable day even more incredible!

We are absolutely thrilled to share the love story of Hannah and Kyle and their beautiful Maui venue wedding! Believe it or not, these two love birds have known each other since middle school and remained close friends until they started dating in undergrad! They got engaged in Kauai and come to Hawaii every year, but this is their first time in Maui. And to say it was a memorable first impression would be an understatement! She Walks In Beauty

Their special day took place on the stunning grass lawn at Gannon’s overlooking the ocean with a breathtaking flower semi-circle as the altar. Nothing says romance like gorgeous flowers! The sun was shining down, making for a bright and happy atmosphere. Hannah looked incredible in her off-the-shoulder gown paired with her custom-made bouquet, while Kyle looked dapper in his blue suit. Both look summery and fresh and, most importantly, so in love. All these years of knowing each other had finally come to this moment!

Everyone was so happy to celebrate these two; it was so thoughtful each guest had an orchid lei too! Truly a Hawaiian hospitable touch that extends a welcome with love!

There were lots of hugs and kisses after their lovely ceremony to celebrate these two! Afterward, we whisked our newlyweds away and headed to Southside Beach to capture some romantic moments between the new Mr. & Mrs. Alegado! There is something so romantic about walking on the beach as a newly married couple. You can feel their joy and happiness in these moments! Hawaii will forever hold a special place in their hearts!

We love a gorgeous Gannon’s Wedding! So when April & Connor reached out to book our Maui Wedding Venue package there, we were so excited!

These two know how to create a meaningful and joyful celebration. They brought along their immediate family, their all-star style, and their romantic energy. And it all came together in the most beautiful way!

Dreamy Greens and Sweet Pastels

One of our favorite things about any Gannon’s Wedding is the stunning backdrop. You get the rich greens of the Wailea hillside and the glistening ocean in the distance. April & Connor decided to accent this natural beauty by adding a circle arch with lush tropical greenery. It created the perfect frame for their swift and heartfelt ceremony.

April also chose our Pastel Rustic Hawaiian bouquet. This one-of-a-kind creation features in-season florals that are grown here on Maui.

Then, as the sun began setting, it was like the sky drew colors straight from her bouquet. The horizon lit up with dreamy pastels straight out of a storybook. It was the perfect ending for a perfect wedding, though the newlyweds still had lots of celebrating to do!

After their Gannon’s Wedding ceremony and beach portraits, they met their family at the Grand Wailea for a delicious dinner. And then it was time to honeymoon! These two had such a fun vacation ahead of them!

Though we only spent a few hours with April & Connor, we felt honored to meet them. They’re an incredible couple who aim to share joy any chance they get. This radiated throughout their Maui Destination Wedding, and it shines in each of their photos.

A Complete Gallery for a Gannon’s Wedding

Gannon’s Restaurant is on a hillside that overlooks the ocean and Wailea shoreline. You could have a complete couple’s photoshoot on the grounds of the venue, since there are so many great backdrops to enjoy.

But if you have enough photo time booked, you can also visit the nearby beach for even more portraits. April & Connor were sure to plan on great beach portraits after their Gannon’s Wedding. This gives them a full photo gallery with a strong sense of place. You can really see that they’re on Maui.

From the hillside to the sea, these two made the most of their Maui wedding day, and we’re so glad we could be a part of it!

Jessica and Bobby’s Maui venue wedding was a sign that dreams do come true! We recently had the pleasure of coordinating and photographing their special day. Our delightful couple love to travel together, and when they came to Maui for the first time, they felt an instant connection and love for the island, so it was the perfect place to celebrate their wedding! It was a gorgeous day in paradise for our beautiful newlyweds, as you’ll see in the following photos…so keep reading!

These photos during the ceremony look so dreamy! The colors are so soft in the luminescent light! It was an incredibly sacred moment as they exchanged their loving vows to forever love, honor, and cherish each other…

Our charming couple not only fell in love with each other but with Maui too! They wanted an intimate yet elegant setting with a view for their wedding, so the grassy lawn at Gannon’s was perfect. And since they invited a small number of close friends and family, there was plenty of space to celebrate!

Forever By Your Side

What struck us most as we walked down to Southside Beach for a few more portraits of their Maui venue wedding was how clearly in love they are with each other! Our newlyweds met at work three years ago and became friends…although clearly there was something more!

They are completely lost in each other’s eyes in these photos…Jessica looks radiant with the long veil flowing behind her in the ocean breeze, don’t you think? It completely added an extra element of romance to the tropical setting…

It was a beautiful day for Madison and Steven’s Maui venue wedding! Our lovely couple tied the knot in paradise with open hearts and many laughs! Please keep reading to see more of our favorite highlights from their day!

In the shimmering sun, our beautiful couple’s ceremony was held on the grassy lawn at Gannon’s in Kihei. This location, in particular, is our favorite for epic sunset moments and views!

Lastly, let’s talk about that arch! We love its beach yet elegantly tropical feel – it added that extra special touch to their thoughtful ceremony!

Joined with their friends and family, our newlyweds can officially say they are “Just Maui’d!” As much as we praise smaller weddings, we also love how lively and fun a large group can be! We can’t decide which we like better!?

Needless to say, their guests were happy to make the journey to our island to celebrate with our happy newlyweds!

“I believe that I have found my person; not everyone gets to say that,” Madison told us before her Maui venue wedding. These two were meant for each other from the start! We were so happy to photograph their wedding recently that we wanted to share a few highlights from their amazing day!

The day began with their fabulous wedding parties getting ready! We love the soft lavender color of the bridesmaid’s dresses, and the groomsmen’s ties matched perfectly! The atmosphere around the room was full of excitement and nerves, as you can believe!

The First Look

When our beautiful bride was dressed in her sparkling gown, her handsome groom was ready to see her for the first look! This was such a precious moment; the look on Peter’s face was priceless… Madison was radiant! They were ready for the ceremony to begin!

The location for their big day was at the grassy knoll at Gannon’s in Kihei. With ocean views for miles, this location is a stunning spot to catch one of Maui’s famous sunsets!

As they exchanged their vows and rings, their friends and family watched on with affection and love for our happy couple. Their Maui venue wedding will be a moment in time they will never forget!

A kiss to seal the beginning of their next chapter together! After the warm cheers, it was time to photograph their intimate moments as husband and wife…

We joined our lovely couple at Southside Beach – these photos were some of our favorites of the day! The lighting created a romantic, soft and flattering ambiance! Our beautiful pair met on a dating app and became best friends! They quickly began dating and fell for each other in no time…

Destination marriages are about the journey, and Kendall & Adam’s event was no exception. They chose to have a venue wedding in Maui! This decision led them to the lush lawn of Gannon’s — where they had an intimate and romantic ceremony. During this sunset affair, Karma Hill Photography captured every breathtaking moment! Kendall and Adam arrived at Gannon’s separately! First, Adam walked his mom to her seat. Then, he took his spot by Reverend Kuya! During the ceremony’s prelude, Skip from Manutea Nui E played Hawaiian classics on the ukulele. These tunes enhanced the tropical mood of this sunset affair. It made everyone’s entrances more magical as well.

After everyone was standing at the front, it was time for Kendall to make her grand entrance! She glided down the aisle gracefully with her father by her side. Above all, we loved seeing the radiant smile on Adam’s face as Kendall walked toward him. You can tell he was thrilled to be marrying Kendall!

What They Wore To Their Venue Wedding in Maui

Kendall and Adam’s outfits were perfect for their special day! Kendall wore a simple and sleek gown. Then we love how hair, makeup, and accessories are elegant — they pair beautifully with her pastel Rustic Hawaiian bouquet. Adam looks sharp in his steel-colored suit! We like how his tie and boutonniere are delicate colors; they add a soft touch to his sophisticated look. More than anything, our favorite thing is how gorgeous this delightful duo looks together! Their attires contrast impeccably with one another.

We adore when a couple has their Maui venue wedding at Gannon’s for many reasons! The natural landscapes make every event look like a tropical fairytale. The green grass, lush trees, and sweeping ocean views decorated the background exquisitely! Then we can’t get enough of this stunning afternoon weather. Although there were a few clouds in the sky, the sun naturally enhanced the brilliance of every portrait!

Madison and Austin decided to have a Hawaii venue wedding because they wanted an intimate event! They wanted to celebrate their connection with their loved ones surrounding them. Above all, they wanted their day to feel magical! When we learned this, we ensured planning their ceremony would be a stress-free and smooth process. In the days coming up to their wedding, Madison and Austin felt excited, nervous, and relieved. Most importantly, they were in love! This visit was Madison’s first time on the island. Thankfully, Austin has vacationed in Maui dozens of times with his family. Our groom knew this destination would be the perfect place to tie the knot. We couldn’t agree more — especially since their wedding was impeccable! In every shot captured by Karma Hill Photography, you can see how relaxed, fun, family-oriented, and romantic their event was.

The Dreamy Hawaii Venue Wedding

Madison and Austin’s story began when they met online while living in a small college town. At the time, Austin was attending Graduate school, and Madison worked at a local nursing home. When they met in person, they knew they’d found the one! They quickly moved in together and became inseparable.

Our charming couple originally planned to visit Maui in July 2020. However, COVID made them cancel those plans. Instead, Austin’s family decided they should take a group trip to the Oregon Coast. Unknown to Madison, Austin coordinated to have her loved ones join them at this destination. Then, Austin surprised Madison with the beach proposal of her dreams! After getting engaged in such a magical manner — a Hawaii venue wedding is an exquisite way to get married!

Currently, Madison is a nursing home director, while Austin is a school psychologist. Although they don’t have kids, they have a beloved Boston Terrier named Gracie. In their free time, you can find them enjoying tennis or golf, watching football, or exploring the Pacific Northwest!

The Enchanting Maui Venue Wedding

Gannon’s Lower Knoll was the perfect scene for this sunset affair! The lush greenery and sweeping ocean views created a fairytale-like ambiance. However, we adore how the sunset enhanced the dreamy feel. In the portraits captured by Karma Hill Photography, you can see how the brilliance made every natural hue delicate. 

Standing on this knoll was a bamboo arch decorated with two floral arrangements from Dellables and white fabric! Although it’s a simple embellishment — it’s added an exquisite touch to this ceremony!

Our Couple’s Story

Our charming couple’s story began when they met five years ago on Bumble. Hayley and Andrew found the perfect match in one another! Then when the time was right, Andrew planned an exciting proposal. He took Hayley on a scavenger hunt through Denver; she ended up in Boulder on the Colorado University Campus. Then, Andrew popped the question in front of a beautiful stone bridge! The scene was gorgeous; snow covered the trees as everything reflected into the pond.

Why We Love Their Maui Destination Wedding

The color scheme for this event paired beautifully with Gannon’s and the island’s natural beauty! You can see how exquisitely the soft pinks in the arch flowers pair with the fairytale-like greenery of the venue. Then Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o delivered a meaningful sermon! Lastly, enhancing the dreamy ambiance were soothing melodies played by Shem from Manutea Nui E. Andrew and Hayley chose a list of songs they loved and knew their guests would enjoy!

Currently, Hayley works at Eventbrite as a Program Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations. Then Andrew is an Accountant at a local airport in Denver, Colorado. You can find them road-tripping and hiking the National Parks in their spare time! Since our radiant newlyweds are adventurous, we knew a Maui destination wedding would be perfect for them.

This past summer, Hayley and Andrew purchased their first home. Now, they have a collection of portraits to hang on their walls!

There were so many notable moments to capture during this ceremony. One of the most important was Trevor’s reaction to Juliet when she made her grand entrance. Thankfully, Tenessa effortlessly photographed the second our charming couple saw one another! Juliet’s parents walked her down the aisle; our bride smiled gorgeously with every step she took. Then, when we looked at Trevor, his face was full of pure joy! You could tell these lovebirds counted down the days until they tied the knot.

The Stunning Maui Venue Wedding

Juliet and Trevor’s story began when they met in high school. Our delightful duo started dating in junior year, and they’ve been together ever since! One day while Trevor and Juliet were hiking at Yosemite National Park, Trevor popped the question. Currently, Juliet is a senior in college with plans to attend medical school in the future. Then Trevor graduated in the Spring and now works for an Agricultural Company as a Field Tech. Our adventurous duo is very active — they love being outdoors and exercising!

Emily was the coordinator, and she had a great time during this Maui venue wedding! Juliet and Trevor brought their own officiant, Jeremy Thiessen, and he delivered a beautiful sermon. Our bride made her grand entrance to the romantic version of the song “Kiss The Girl” from the Little Mermaid! Overall, this ceremony was classic, intimate, and fun!
