Natasha and Matthew’s love story began in Vancouver, where they both grew up. Born and raised in the same city, their paths crossed multiple times over the years. Despite their familiarity, it wasn’t until seven years ago, when they started talking at their local Starbucks, that their connection truly blossomed. Their love grew steadily, and with their two beautiful daughters by their side, and then Matthew proposed on a romantic beach in Tofino!

Natasha had always dreamt of getting married on a beautiful beach, and Maui seemed like the perfect destination to fulfill her wish. With its stunning landscapes and serene atmosphere, Maui offered the ideal setting for their intimate and meaningful ceremony. The couple was excited to embark on this new chapter of their lives together, surrounded by the beauty of paradise…

As Natasha and Matthew exchanged their vows on Po’olenalena Beach, the beauty of their surroundings only enhanced the magic of the moment. With the sun shining brightly and the waves gently crashing against the shore, it was a scene straight out of a beachy fairytale. The beach provided the perfect backdrop for their love to shine…

Just like their engagement, Natasha and Matthew’s Maui elopement was a family affair. With their daughters by their sides, they celebrated their union and the love that binds them all together. The sunlight showered down on them, illuminating the joy and happiness radiating from their smiles. It was a truly picture-perfect moment!

Jessica and Dominique’s Maui venue wedding was a day filled with love, laughter, and pure happiness! From the moment they met through friends in 2016, their connection was undeniable. After a memorable first date at The Original Pancake House (where love was discovered over a bite of bacon), their journey together began!

Over the years, Jessica and Dominique embarked on countless adventures – from getting a house with friends (which didn’t turn out as planned) to welcoming Max & Milo into their lives. They even worked side by side at Jimmy Johns, creating cherished memories along the way. In December of 2019, on a chilly evening beside the Millennium Monument in Millennium Park, Jessica proposed to Dominique. With tears and laughter, Dominique said yes, and the couple celebrated by watching ice skaters and enjoying pizza before boarding their train back to Cleveland. So when they reached out to us, we were delighted to bring their dream wedding vision to life!

Rustic + Elegant

Their Maui venue wedding symbolized the magic of marrying the love of your life in the most romantic setting imaginable. Inspired by another couple’s tales of a Maui venue wedding, Jessica and Dominique couldn’t resist the allure of tying the knot in Hawaii. They stumbled upon our website and instantly fell in love with the idea of exchanging vows surrounded by the beauty of paradise!

Their wedding day was everything they had imagined and more. Set amidst Rustic Hawaiian Ruins, it was a romantic affair that left their friends and family breathless with excitement. The couple shared a heartfelt first dance, radiating joy as they twirled across the dance floor. Dressed in vibrant matching bouquets, they looked absolutely stunning!

But the most unforgettable moments came when Jessica and Dominique stole away to the beach with their photographer. As the sun set and cast a warm, glowy light, they basked in the tranquility of their love and made memories that would last a lifetime.

We are excited to share Leslie and Frank’s dreamy Maui elopement celebrating their family journey! From their initial meeting in the aerospace industry to the birth of their son, their beautiful celebration captures the essence of their happiness and the beginning of their new chapter.

Hailing from the picturesque Orange County/LA area in California, Leslie and Frank first crossed paths eight years ago. Their shared passion for aerospace brought them together as fate would have it, igniting a connection that would withstand life’s trials. After five years of dating bliss, Frank proposed during a romantic trip to Miami, with just the two of them basking in the sun-kissed beaches. Their engagement lasted three years, marked by unforeseen circumstances such as the global pandemic and the arrival of their adorable son, who is now 15 months old. It was so sweet to see their son join them on their big day, as you’ll see below!

A Family Affair

With their hearts set on a beachfront wedding, Leslie and Frank decided to elope in Maui, just the three of them. Hawaii became their first big trip as a family, so they thought it would be a perfect opportunity to tie the knot finally! Southside Beach, one of our favorite locations, served as the ideal backdrop for their dreamy ceremony. Their elegant Maui elopement began their next chapter as a family, too! Their love and warmth were palpable all around the sunkissed beach. The inclusion of their son participating in his little suspenders and bowtie added an extra touch of sweetness to the family-oriented celebration!

As the sun began to set, Leslie, Frank, and their son indulged in a piece of cake on the beach, relishing the gentle ocean breeze. This magical moment sealed their day of love and togetherness, creating memories that would be cherished for a lifetime! This one is frame worthy, don’t you think?

Can you imagine meeting the love of your life in middle school? Well our sweet couple Carly and Jordan can! They met back in middle school, and Carly actually asked him out, and he said no! But seven years later, he remembered Carly and messaged her on social media; the rest is history! So when it came to planning their special day, they knew they wanted to honeymoon in Hawaii too, so it felt so simple to have a Maui destination wedding too. Celebrating This Moment

Their inimate celebration was held at Gather, one of our favorite venues for a Maui wedding. The view, the privacy, and the grassy lawn make it such a beautiful location to tie the knot! And as you can see, Carly and Jordan opted for a stunning driftwood arch with tropical florals to serve as the altar under the swaying palm trees. Their Maui destination wedding had all the elements they were looking for – simplicity, elegance, rustic, with unique details.

Their intimate ceremony was full of emotion as they said their vows in front of those who mattered most to them. The way they look at each other says it all!

Cherishing This Moment

Carly was a vision in a frothy gown! The combination of pink and green flowers is so fresh! They both look so happy in these newlywed portraits! Jordan was smiling ear to ear and opted for a sharp beige three-piece suit. Both are still in college and have spent half of their relationship in the pandemic, so this marks a new chapter of their romance and the beginning of many new adventures together!

After soaking up the dreamy moment, they were ready to dance the night away with their friends and family! It was a truly magical evening they will never forget!

As business owners who run a transitional living house and are in the process of opening an outpatient treatment center for those battling addictions and mental health, it’s clear that their commitment to helping others extends to all aspects of their lives.

Destiny and Adam have four children, three girls, and one boy, so it was a special day for their family too! Our sweet couple chose Maui because of its breathtaking beauty…as you’ll see, the island showed off again for our happy pair!

Have you ever felt like the thought of planning a big wedding was too overwhelming? That’s exactly how Leona and Artin felt when they got engaged. The idea of a traditional Armenian wedding just didn’t fit their simple and laid-back personalities! It took them four years to finally gather the courage to have the wedding of their dreams; thankfully, they found Simple Maui Wedding! A Maui elopement was just what they envisioned for their big day. And it couldn’t have been more lovely, as you’ll see!

Maui Holds A Special Place In Our Hearts

After getting engaged on a breathtaking grassy cliffside surrounded by palm trees in Kapalua, they knew Maui would be the perfect location for their dream wedding. Leona had always dreamed of having an oceanside wedding with her feet in the sand… Their Maui elopement was stress-free, meaningful, and beautiful. The ceremony took place at Lahaina Shores, where Leona walked into a stunning fresh flower circle awaiting them on the beach. It was full of tender and loving moments as they officially became husband and wife!

After the ceremony, our happy newlyweds Leona and Artin couldn’t help but jump into the ocean, dress and all, to celebrate their love and excitement! It was their day, and their love story had come full circle since they got engaged on the island.

The bright sun shone, casting a warm glow over the happy pair. As the Maui elopement came to a wonderful end, the sky began to turn a beautiful shade of pink and orange. They drove off into the sunset, top down too! The sky was breathtaking, making the day feel even more special!

Our newlyweds can’t wait to see what the future holds for them, and they know that whatever comes their way, they’ll face it together! We love how sleek and elegant they look in their understated elegant wedding attire. The saltwater and sand only added to the romantic beachy look!

Sarah and Nasir’s Maui beach wedding was a beautiful and intimate affair we were so honored to coordinate! They chose our services based on our stellar reviews and gorgeous photos, and we were thrilled to make their special day stress-free.

Sarah and Nasir met at work while he was her boss (!), and a year later, he actually left her area so they could date, believe it or not! They’ve been together since 2016, and on Valentine’s Day 2020, Nasir proposed on their balcony with only their daughters and puppies present – it was the perfect romantic moment. Fast forward to this beautiful day, they took another step in their love story, as you’ll see below…

Intimate & Elegant

Their Maui beach wedding at Maluaka Beach was equally as beautiful, with Sarah looking radiant in her floral crown and Nasir looking dapper in his linen suit. The golden sunset provided a gorgeous backdrop for their newlywed portraits. And they even had a slice of cake to celebrate their nuptials!

A beach wedding in Maui is always a great idea! You get to have a simple yet meaningful ceremony, and the island’s natural surroundings provide the best backdrop.

Ryan & Silvia understood the draw, and that’s why they chose to marry in Maui. So on a bright May morning, we met these two on the shores of Poʻolenalena Beach for a memorable celebration. It was so much fun, and we’re honored we could be their Maui wedding coordinator.

An Early Start

We typically offer our Maui wedding packages in the morning or at sunset. Both are beautiful in their own way and offer a unique experience.

Ryan & Silvia chose a morning beach wedding in Maui, which suited this bright, adventurous couple. The beaches tend to be less busy in the morning, and it leaves the rest of the day to relax and celebrate.

But it does make for an early wake-up call. Ryan and the guests began arriving at the beach before 8 AM, and Silvia made her grand entrance a few minutes later. That means she was up before the sun, preparing her picture-perfect bridal look and anxiously awaiting the moment when she said “I Do.”

These two look great no matter what, but we especially loved seeing their amazing wedding style, which looked great at this beach wedding in Maui.

Another unique thing about morning weddings is how the photos look. The Karma Hill Team can really capture the blues in the ocean and the sky, and the greens of the trees stand out. It’s a bright, tropical look for couples who love the vibrancy of Hawaii.

Tradition & Originality at a Beach Wedding in Maui

When you get married in Hawaii, you get a lot of flexibility. After all, there are likely fewer guests to impress and less pressure to do things the same way as everybody else. You’re getting married in a unique spot, so you can choose elements that are true to you, even if it’s different from other weddings.

But you can also be as traditional as you want. Ryan & Silvia still included a grand entrance onto the beach, and they had a cake cutting after their ceremony. They wore formal wedding attire with a tropical touch, and took portraits that really showcased their style.

We’re impressed by how they balance tradition with originality, creating a beach wedding in Maui that was true to who they are.

“When we saw the Simple Maui Wedding Instagram, we fell in love with your weddings! That’s when we knew we wanted to get Maui’d,” Itzel said before their big day! Their Maui beach wedding was a wonderfully lighthearted and stress-free occasion. They wanted a simple yet beautiful wedding, and the idea of combining their honeymoon trip with their wedding was just what they wanted! It was an honor to bring their dream to life with their close friends and family in attendance…

Although they had never been to Hawaii, they knew this was where they wanted to tie the knot! The allure of Hawaii is irresistible! They exchanged their vows to the sound of the waves at Southside Beach surrounding them with their friends and family gathered around. The sun shone down as brightly as their love for each other, and excitement filled the air!

Their first dance as husband and wife right on the beach was so sweet to watch! It was just one of many romantic moments from their Maui beach wedding, perfectly capturing the essence of their love and the moment they shared. Our One Guest

Cecilia & Raul have been married for over 15 years, and they have a lot to show for their time together. They share goals and cheer each other on through career and personal successes. They have faith that has carried them through life’s ups and downs. But what are they most proud of? Their wonderful son Anthony!

This handsome preteen was the only guest at Cecilia & Raul’s Vow Renewal in Maui, so he had many roles. He walked his mom down the aisle, helped Reverend Joe officiate the ceremony, participated in the lei exchange, and cheered on his parents as they became a renewed married couple. Whew, get this guy a poolside cabana and a shave ice — it’s time for him to kick back after such a big evening!

All kidding aside, Cecilia, Raul, and Anthony are an incredible family, and we’re so glad we got to help them have this celebration. When these sweethearts first married in the 2000s, Raul’s military commitments kept them from having a full wedding and honeymoon.

So this Vow Renewal in Maui was their chance to create these core memories and have a complete destination wedding. Free of the many pressures that come with a first-time wedding, they could truly relax and enjoy each moment.

All The Right Details

Anton & Daria found the perfect balance between simplicity and glamour for their wedding in Maui. Hoping to ease any last-minute jitters, they had a private first look before beginning their ceremony. We loved how that turned out! They were able to share a few moments of quiet time, and take in each other’s beauty before joining their guests at the beach.

Of course Karma Hill Photography was there to capture it all!

A dear friend walked Daria down the aisle to Anton, and then Kahu Sean led them through a heartfelt, Hawaiian-inspired ceremony.

After they had shared emotional vows and exchanged their rings and lei, they officially became husband and wife! The joy was palpable, and their guests were in great spirits as they celebrated with the newlyweds.

The fun was only just beginning, though! We helped create a mini reception on the beach as part of their wedding in Maui. Everyone enjoyed live ukulele and hula as Anton & Daria cut their wedding cake, all while being only steps away from the ocean.

Manutea Nui E provided incredible Hawaiian entertainment, and the musician played a song so that Anton & Daria could have their first dance on the beach. What a sweet memory! Keep scrolling to see how glowing and happy everyone was during each moment!

Anton & Daria look amazing — that much is obvious. But they’re also kind and warm, passionate yet playful. Working with them was a joy, and their personalities brought so much life to their images.

Po‘olenalena Beach was the perfect setting for their ethereal wedding in Maui, and their portraits are dreamy and romantic. The setting sun painted the sky with soft pastels, and the gentle ocean brought a calming presence.

We love how Anton & Daria brought both softness and vibrancy to their Maui wedding day — something that they’ll also bring into their marriage. Sure, things won’t always be pastel skies and endless blue ocean, but with a love like theirs, they can weather any kind of day.

We’ve been so excited to share Nami & Gustavo’s Four Seasons Maui Wedding since the moment it started! This stylish couple traveled from Japan to marry at this luxe Wailea property, and it was a wow-worthy event.

In fact, when Nami arrived at the chic lobby of the hotel, our photographer and onsite coordinator both said wow in perfect unison. Her bridal style was show-stopping — you can tell Nami is a trendsetter with an eye for romance. But she was totally down-to-earth as well, the kind of bride we love working with.

And Gus looked quite suave himself. He was in great spirits as he nervously awaited for Nami’s arrival, and when he first laid eyes on her, one of his many excited thoughts was wow.

Tranquil, Romantic, and Timeless

Reverend Joe officiated Nami & Gus’s Maui Four Seasons wedding. He brought humor and heart, along with a few Hawaiian traditions. Nami and Gus presented lei to each other and to all their guests, inviting their small group to become one with the ceremony and their surroundings.

Plumeria Point at the Four Seasons Resort is one of the prettiest wedding venues on the entire island. Two Plumeria Trees frame the altar while palms sway in the distance. It’s a small space, perfect for elopements or micro weddings.

Nami & Gus had a perfect balance of elegance and fun. They included chic styling along with kawaii (cute) details. They’re a cute couple, so it came easy to them — they were full of laughter and passion as they became husband & wife in this beautiful setting.

We are so happy we got to be a part of this memory, and we’re also glad that Karma Hill Photography captured some IG-ready images for the photogenic pair!

From Japan to Hawaii – A Four Seasons Maui Wedding

Nami & Gustavo had the greatest guests. The warm, jovial group came from all across the globe, meeting here in Maui to celebrate a love story that seems better than a dream.

Gus had recently moved from the US to Japan when he met Nami. He was a photographer with a techy side and a love of travel. She was an adventurous spirit who loved anything cute, fashionable, and/or fun, especially dogs!

They hit it off right away. Months turned to years, and they knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

And that’s how they ended up in Wailea, Maui. With travel so complicated and each with family far & wide, it made sense to meet up in a place where they could all gather. And what better place to gather than Maui?

We of course got all kinds of group photos with their supportive guests, and then it was time to capture some newlywed portraits. We headed over to Wailea Beach with Nami & Gus while the guests started cocktails and appetizers at the Four Seasons.

Going to the beach gave us a front-row seat to a stunning sunset. And it gave Nami & Gus a chance to unwind and show off their fun, lively personalities.
