Explore the beauty of a Maui Venue Wedding through Nicole and Taylor’s unique love story and serene celebration. Their story began through Facebook Dating, where Taylor apparently understood the assignment immediately. After their first date, he already knew he wanted to marry Nicole.

Nicole, meanwhile, needed a little more convincing. Eventually, Taylor asked what her dream proposal looked like. Her answer was wonderfully specific: absolutely no public spectacle. So, after Nicole returned home from a trip to Europe, she found a ring waiting on the counter with a note. She slipped it onto her finger, called Taylor to say yes, and then went to bed. Honestly, iconic.

For Nicole’s first-ever trip to Hawaii, Maui felt like just the place to begin their next chapter. The Rustic Hawaiian Ruins created a gorgeous setting for their intimate ceremony, surrounded by tropical greenery, stone walls, and their closest loved ones. Most importantly, their girls were there to share in the celebration. Between sweet family moments, colorful florals, and plenty of happy tears, the entire ceremony felt warm and personal. It was elegant without feeling overly formal, which suited this travel-loving Washington couple beautifully.

Afterward, Nicole and Taylor traded the lush ruins for the shoreline at Menehune Shores. There, the evening softened into golden light, ocean views, and some seriously romantic newlywed portraits. Nicole looked incredible in her flowing gown, while Taylor kept things relaxed in neutral island tones.

As the sun dipped lower, they wandered the beach, laughed together, and soaked in the fact that they were officially married. For two people who love traveling and experiencing life side by side, their Maui wedding felt like the beginning of one very exciting adventure.

Michelle & John were forced to just go with the flow this year! Like so many other couples their wedding plans had to be changed many times due to Covid. It’s funny though how sometimes things come together and you realize they are just as they should be. Having a small, intimate Maui Venue Wedding turned out perfect for these two. They were married in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by swaying palms and their closest family and friends.

The Rustic Hawaiian Ruins are our newest venue here on Maui. They offer a lush tropical setting in the historic ruins of the Kilohani Church. This is the perfect spot to say “I do” if you have over 8 guests. Beach weddings are currently restricted to 10 people total including vendors, but a private venue offers more flexibility.

A butterfly fluttered around them during the ceremony. Michelle felt that it was a sign from her grandmother being their for their special moment.

Michelle & John still hope to have a big wedding at home in 2021, but just in case that doesn’t work out, they’ve at least had a great wedding here in Hawaii!

John proposed to Michelle with the help of a sweet puppy last December. The puppy had a collar around it’s neck that read “Will you marry me?” Well played John!! A puppy is definitely the way to a woman’s heart!!
