Forever Found – Malia & Jonas’ Maui Venue Wedding

This Maui venue wedding was the dreamiest first trip to Hawaii for Malia and Jonas. They traveled from New Jersey to celebrate at Merriman’s Kapalua Bay Lawn. There, lush tropical blooms and sweeping ocean views created the perfect setting. Their story began through a mutual friend in the summer of 2021. Then, a few years later, Jonas proposed beneath a Christmas tree near Washington Street Mall in Cape May. From a festive New Jersey proposal to saying “I do” beside the Pacific, their story came full circle in the sweetest way.

Their ceremony felt intimate, joyful, and wonderfully Maui. Vibrant pink flowers framed Malia and Jonas as they exchanged vows with loved ones nearby. Meanwhile, Malia looked stunning in her lace gown, while Jonas kept things timeless in a classic black suit.

Hawaii also happened to be an especially meaningful stop for Malia. Visiting all 50 states is on her bucket list, and this trip officially checked Hawaii off the list. Even better, she got to experience it for the first time while marrying her favorite person. We cannot imagine a sweeter way to mark another state off the list and begin a brand-new adventure together.

After the ceremony, Malia and Jonas slipped away for portraits along the rocky Kapalua shoreline. As the sun began to set, Maui gave them the prettiest golden light over the ocean. Between the soft glow, crashing waves, and Malia’s veil catching the breeze, their newlywed portraits felt romantic, relaxed, and completely unforgettable
