It was clear that this was a special moment for the couple, as they had always wanted to visit Hawaii and were thrilled to experience all that Maui has to offer finally.
James and Jodi’s love story began in 1988 when they met at Western Nebraska Community College while playing in a band together. They got engaged in 1992, and their wedding took place in Alliance, NE, in 1993. While their wedding was years ago, their love and commitment to each other have grown even deeper over the years. Their Maui vow renewal was an opportunity to relive those special moments and reaffirm their love for one another…

The natural beauty of Ironwoods Beach provided the perfect backdrop for their vow renewal ceremony. The stunning colors of the ocean and the sky made the entire experience feel extra magical. It was simple, casual, yet equally as moving. Their love is truly inspiring! Thirty years of marriage is an incredible milestone!
Renewing vows in Maui is truly a unique and special experience, and it was amazing to see James and Jodi bask in the beauty and serenity of the island as they celebrated their love…
We love how at ease they look with each other. Jodi’s choice of an aloha-printed dress added some color to their beautiful day! We love it when couples like our happy pair, Jodi and James, embrace Hawaiian traditions in their ceremony and attire.
