Madeleine and Zachary adore everything about Maui! When they began planning their special day, they knew they wanted it to be a small and intimate affair. Most importantly, they hoped to get married at a destination where they could also spend their honeymoon. Thankfully, their Hawaii venue wedding checked off every box on their list! The Rustic Hawaiian Ruins were the location for this wedding, and this venue created a fairytale scene for this event. Everywhere you look, you’ll see lush tropical foliage! Then the coral brick walls surrounding the altar give this occasion a bohemian feel. Above all, we like how the morning sun’s rays were peeking from between the greenery. This natural brilliance enhanced the dreamy ambiance of the ceremony!
Why We Love Their Hawaii Venue Wedding
Our charming couple’s wedding is laid-back, fun, and heartwarming. Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o was the minister, and he delivered a meaningful sermon. Then during the ceremony, Karma Hill Photography captured every affectionate smile and loving look our couple shared. Now, they’ll be able to relive every moment from this morning affair. However, our favorite thing about this is how exquisite Madeleine and Zachary dressed. Our groom’s attire is classic and sophisticated, while our bride’s gown is ethereal and airy!
Our Couple’s Story
Madeleine and Zachary’s story began when they met at a New Year’s Eve party through mutual friends. When the time was right, Zachary proposed to Madeleine while visiting Arizona. Our adventurous duo woke up early to watch the sunrise at the Grand Canyon when he popped the question. Since there were only a few people around, it made this moment even more intimate.
This passionate pair loves to be outdoors and active — it was no surprise they had a Hawaii venue wedding! In their spare time, you’ll find them riding their mountain or dirt bikes. When they’re not enjoying nature, they’ll be spending time at home or traveling. Madeleine and Zachary find a lot of joy in going on journeys and road-tripping; they adore exploring new places and camping!
