Tom and Lisa are an adventurous duo! They enjoy traveling the world and exploring new destinations. It was only fitting they had a Maui beach elopement under the Hawaiian sunset! Intimate, tranquil, and romantic are the first words we think of when looking at Tom and Lisa’s special day. With only one person in attendance and a serene beach as the location — everything about this event was flawless! Tom began the ceremony standing by the water, then Lisa made her grand entrance and walked down the shoreline. During Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o’s heartfelt sermon, Karma Hill Photography captured our gorgeous couple’s blissful smiles. Now, you can see every remarkable moment from this wedding!
The Breathtaking Maui Beach Elopement
Maluaka Beach set the scene for this occasion, and this backdrop was exquisite! We found a nestled corner on the shore for the wedding — making this event feel more private. Surrounding the ceremony were striking lava rocks, foamy cerulean waves, and golden sand. Above all, you can see how the heavy cloud coverage and the sun’s luminous glow created a dreamy ambiance.
Our Couple’s Story
Tom and Lisa first met through Facebook. At the time, Tom lived in southern California and Lisa in Chicago! Our elegant newlyweds bonded over their passion for traveling and had the perfect excuse to journey to see one another. After two years of visiting each other, Tom and Lisa got engaged and began living together!
Our beautiful couple decided to have a Maui beach elopement because they both adore the island! Tom has been visiting for years since attending the University of Hawaii. Early on in their relationship, Tom introduced Lisa to the Aloha State and brought her to Maui! This getaway was remarkable because our delightful couple created wonderful memories. Most importantly, Lisa became entranced with the island, and our charming newlyweds fell in love with one another!
