Nicole & Avery, like so many couples, were blindsided by Covid-19 lockdowns and had planned a larger Maui venue wedding with friends and family. With restrictions on group size, restrictions on travel, and a statewide shutdown, Nicole & Avery had to put their backup plan into motion.
This beautiful couple thought 10/10/20 would be a perfect wedding date and decided to move forward with a simple plan. They found the perfect ceremony location and invited their closest family and friends to keep the group size down! We had to agree, this was the perfect backup plan and we were so excited to make it happen.
Their wedding venue, the King Kamehameha Golf Club, offers a beautiful mountainside setting overlooking central Maui. This private ceremony spot just past the Marilyn Monroe house sits right above a waterfall and pond and overlooks the golf course. Reverend Richardo officiated their intimate ceremony and pronounced Nicole & Avery husband and wife as their immediate family watched along! Sometimes the backup plan turns out to be the perfect plan and we’re reminded that everything is meant to be as it is!

Nicole & Avery’s little girl Aubrey couldn’t make it through the ceremony but she sure was adorable sleeping in her mommy and daddy’s arms afterwards. What a special moment for this sweet little family to share their love and commitment for each other.

Nicole & Avery met while Avery was working at Nicole’s Dad’s restaurant, Gianotto’s Pizza! We can all agree that Gianotto’s is a pillar in our community but we had no idea it was also a place where one can find their soulmate! Singles, take note!

After their ceremony we took full advantage of the picturesque setting on the side of Pu’ukukui Mountain range. The sun was shining, love was in the air, and we sure enjoyed capturing it.

Mahalo Nicole & Avery for choosing Simple Maui Wedding to coordinate your very special day! It was such a pleasure meeting with you and we look forward to seeing you around in Wailuku town!

The secret is out… and we’re thrilled to announce our newest Maui wedding venue — The King Kamehameha Golf Club! Lux and elegant, this property was created using authentic 1950’s blueprints by Frank Loyd Wright, including details for a house designed for the queen of beauty herself — Marilyn Monroe. To welcome this gorgeous venue into the fold, we got together with our favorite vendors and organized a styled-shoot worthy of any pop culture icon!
Built in 1993, this Maui wedding venue is decked out with modern utilities while still maintaining the original Frank Loyd Wright design. With sweeping bi-coastal views and a convenient central-Maui location, the King Kamehameha Golf Club is a must-see for those in love with art deco glam!

For our ceremony shots, we utilized the lovely Kahalawai terrace. Located on the west end of the property, this sweet grassy lawn overlooks towering pines, both coastlines, and the expanse of Maui.
To emphasize all the retro glam of this Maui wedding venue, Della from Dellables knocked it out of the park and designed a custom arch that gave us all the Great Gatsby feels! But her talents didn’t stop there — she also used her artist’s eye to arrange gorgeous blooms of white calla lilies and tropical flora.

To capture it all, the Karma Hill Photography Team brought their A-game and created photo magic behind the lens! One of our favorite aspects of styled shoots is seeing the venue through the photographer’s eye — KHP always manages to find the special features and capture those details with their light and airy style.

Acting as our own Marilyn Monroe for the day was the beautiful Kiah Ward. We had a blast working with her as she showed off those dreamy stares and then flexed her guns between shoots. This woman is nothing short of a queen.

Adorning Kiah is an intricately beaded gown from Elly’s Formal Wear. We loved how the geometric patterns tied in with the retro theme of the ceremony decor. With a draped mid-drift and streamlined silhouette, this was a bridal dress fit for a bombshell!
The team at Salon 253 were our makeup gurus for the day. We’re always blown away by their ability to highlight a bride’s unique beauty and still bring all of that rich drama! With a bold brow and lash, Salon 253 accented Kiah’s natural glow while dollying her up in retro glam.

Marilyn Monroe acted in How to Marry a Millionaire, but as gorgeous as this venue is, you don’t need to be a millionaire (or marry one!) to book it! With a reasonable site fee, we’re offering a base package on the Kahalawai terrace for only $4250. This package includes:
* Up To 2 Hours Of Use Of Ceremony Lawn
* Maui Minister/Officiant
* Licensing Assistance
* Leis For Ceremony Exchange
* Bridal Bouquet From Our Floral Selections
* 1.5 Hours Of Professional Photography Coverage By The Karma Hill Photography Team
* 100 Retouched High-Resolution Images Included. Additional Edited Images, Professional Prints, And Albums Available For Purchase A La Carte.

* On-Site Coordinator To Ensure Your Day Goes Smoothly.* Our List Of Top Recommended Vendors On Maui For Services Such As Hair And Makeup, Transportation, Restaurants, Etc.
* Complimentary Consultation With A Maui Based Travel Agent
* Complimentary Concierge Service To Book Activities, Restaurants, Tee Times And More!

Or if you’re planning a smaller elopement, the Hoapili Gardens may be the perfect option. With a rock waterfall and river features, this special ceremony location features an expansive view, a cute wooden bridge, and an abundance of greenery. For just $3550, you can say “I do” to your special-someone at this unique and lux Maui wedding venue.
We recognize that with the new restrictions and the ever-changing atmosphere, many couples are opting for simple yet beautiful elopements, so we’re offering special add-ons that will allow you to live-stream the ceremony to loved ones back home. Everyone will be glowing along with you!

Following the ceremony shoot, we explored the towering structure of the clubhouse. Featuring unique window-work, this Maui wedding venue will leave an unforgettable impression — trust us, we’re still swooning over it!

Just a few queens slaying…

From intricate glass details to an arching stairway and a golden elevator that looks like a relic from the mid-century, this Maui wedding venue is flooded with gorgeous art deco elements that will take your breath away. We’re SO excited for the day when we can explore the property with a future lucky couple!

We’d like to give a big shout out to the amazing vendors who helped us turn this dream shoot into a reality. Dellables, Salon 253, and Elly’s Formal Wear, as always, it was such a pleasure to work with such a talented crew! Thank you to The King Kamehameha Golf Club for opening up your gorgeous venue to allow this shoot! And, of course, thank you Kiah for being our bombshell bride for the day!
We can’t wait for the time when we can coordinate a wedding at this spectacular Maui venue and turn a couple’s own dream into reality! We’ll be here waiting for you.

Karri and Ian were so sweet together and we absolutely loved helping them plan their Lahaina Shores Beach Wedding! When they first contacted us they said they had decided to cancel their big wedding and instead get married in Maui with a few close family and friends. They were so excited to experience a relaxing getaway and ceremony here in paradise!

And these two definitely deserved some R&R, both Karri and Ian have served in the military! Our bride just finished her duty, and our groom served 5 years in the Marines on active duty and 2 years in the reserves. We cannot thank Karri and Ian enough for their service! And we loved seeing them celebrate with their military friends at their Lahaina Shores Beach Wedding.
It was especially touching to see this couple include their darling daughter, Kolby in the festivities. It’s easy to see that these parents adore her more than anything and we love that she could be part of their special day! We’re confident this is an occasion none of them will ever forget.

Both Karri and Ian said they “aren’t really photo people” but the founder of our sister company, Karma had so much fun getting their personality to come out and helping them be natural in front of the camera. I mean just see for yourself! They look absolutely incredible together, and we have no doubt they will have the most amazing life together as husband and wife.

Thank you, Karri and Ian, for sharing your special day with Simple Maui Wedding! We loved getting to celebrate with you both and wish you all the best on the journey ahead. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

We loved helping plan this couple’s wedding at 5 Palms and can’t get over how amazing they look in these Maui Wedding Portraits! Danielle and John brought their own photographer from Orange County for their wedding photography. But since all of our packages include photography they decided to do an extra couples shoot with our sister company, the day after their wedding!

This is a great option since photography can’t be removed from a Simple Maui Wedding Package. We understand some clients might already have someone in mind for their wedding photography, but why not take more photos!? You can never have enough shots of you and your new spouse, especially in your amazing wedding attire!

Our bride said she’s always dreamed of having photos in a pretty dress with pretty flowers on the beach in Hawaii at Sunset. So taking these Maui Wedding Portraits was perfect, and she lucked out with the most GORGEOUS lighting! Danielle grew up coming to Maui every year as a kid, so it is a very special place for her. And now she can’t wait to come back when they have kids and have portraits this very same beach, so sweet!

Danielle and John, we cannot thank you enough for sharing not just one but two beautiful evenings with us. We loved getting to know you both and wish you all the best on the journey ahead! Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

It’s always special when we get the opportunity to plan a Maui Vow Renewal! What could be better than celebrating a love that has stood the test of time? To make this day extra special, Ingrid and Cort decided to include their two beautiful daughters in the ceremony! Aren’t they darling? We especially love they both wore flower crowns to match their mother! So cute!
It’s on their bucket list to visit all 50 states and since they’d never been to Hawaii before they thought Maui was the perfect place for their 20 year anniversary! And we are so glad they did because as you can tell a Maui Vow Renewal is one of our favorite things 🙂 . After taking portraits with our sister company, Karma Hill Photography, this sweet family headed to Mama’s Fish House for a festive celebratory dinner! Thank you, Ingrid and Cort, for sharing this special day with Simple Maui Wedding. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

After celebrating their engagement in Italy and Greece, Kim and Kyle decided to get married somewhere tropical and warm. Making a Maui Elopement perfect! They described their wedding as, “intimate, tropical, and timeless”. And as you can see that’s exactly how it turned out! We could not have asked for a more beautiful evening and we are confident it’s one that these two will never forget!
What made this Maui Elopement even more special is that our bride and groom are expecting their first baby in September. So the love and excitement in the air were extra strong! We have no doubt that they will make the most amazing parents and we couldn’t be happier for them. Thank you, Kim and Kyle, for sharing this special time in your lives with Simple Maui Wedding. We wish you a lifetime of happiness together as husband and wife as well as mom and dad 🙂 . Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

This couple is so sweet and in love! When they first arrived for their Maui Beach Elopement, Amy mentioned it was hard to believe the day was finally here, they had been so looking forward to it for so long! Will had never been to Hawaii before, but he quickly fell in love with it, they will be back for sure. We’re so glad! They decided to spend another week here after their wedding, so they were off to honeymoon mode right away. So great!
Amy was a stunning bride in a beach style wedding dress with a long skirt and jeweled beading on the bodice. With barefoot feet and wavy hair, she looked just like a mermaid who had traded sea life to marry the man of her dreams! Will was a stylish beach groom as he rocked a Hawaiian print shirt tucked into sleek white chinos and no shoes. While this look is very casual it is also acceptable wedding attire for their Maui Beach Elopement. By wearing a Hawaiian print shirt with muted colors and tucking it into slim pants with a belt to finish off his look, he was comfortable and put together at the same time. We applaud the simplistic yet purposeful styling of this happy couple! We especially love their unique wedding rings and how they both show off their individual personalities as well as their personality as a couple. We have no doubt they will have a magical life together as husband and wife! As we parted ways, the newlyweds headed to Spago at the Four Seasons for a celebratory dinner. Great choice Amy and Will! Thank you both, for letting Simple Maui Wedding participate on your special day. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

Before the beaming couple could enjoy the pretty Wailea sunset, they first got to enjoy a Maui Elopement that would make your heart melt. The San Diego sweethearts, Ashley and Jeff, couldn’t have been any cuter together they met beside the swaying sea. Following tradition, their chauffeur ensured they wouldn’t see one another until the moment it was time to tie the knot. As he watched in wonder at his approaching bride, Jeff was practically floating above the sand with anticipation. Looking radiant and thrilled, Ashley was the portrait of perfection as she glided across the beach.
Seeking romance and an intimate celebration, they got that and so much more. The lovely part of an elopement is the serenity it affords the bride and groom. You have no one to worry about except one another. With sweet embraces and tender looks of love, they reveled in the magic of the moment as the pastel sky lit up the horizon. We adored these two and were so happy to witness the moment they made it official. Thank you, Ashley and Jeff, for choosing Simple Maui Wedding. We wish you all the love in the world as your happily ever after begins.
Congratulations and Warm Aloha!!!

Under an overcast sky, Amanda and Scott stood hand in hand to enjoy their Maui Wedding on the beautiful white sand of Baldwin Beach. With smiles of joy lighting up the entire beach, they committed their lives to one another and took the first steps as husband and wife. Though the sun was elusive, it created a dreamy, pastel scene that made for an ethereal feel to the evening. With romance dancing on the breeze, our cool new friends from California enjoyed a day to remember and we were so honored to be a part of it. Thank you, Amanda and Scott, for letting Simple Maui Wedding share in the happiness of your wedding day. Reverend Kuya set the tone for this special day with a beautiful wedding ceremony pronouncing the new couple husband and wife. We wish you a lifetime of happiness together and look forward to catching up on a return visit one day. Until we meet again, take care of one another. Congratulations & Warm Aloha!!!
