Sarah and Nasir’s Maui beach wedding was a beautiful and intimate affair we were so honored to coordinate! They chose our services based on our stellar reviews and gorgeous photos, and we were thrilled to make their special day stress-free.

Sarah and Nasir met at work while he was her boss (!), and a year later, he actually left her area so they could date, believe it or not! They’ve been together since 2016, and on Valentine’s Day 2020, Nasir proposed on their balcony with only their daughters and puppies present – it was the perfect romantic moment. Fast forward to this beautiful day, they took another step in their love story, as you’ll see below…

Intimate & Elegant

Their Maui beach wedding at Maluaka Beach was equally as beautiful, with Sarah looking radiant in her floral crown and Nasir looking dapper in his linen suit. The golden sunset provided a gorgeous backdrop for their newlywed portraits. And they even had a slice of cake to celebrate their nuptials!

Their love shone through every aspect of their wedding day despite the sprinkles! From the stunning photos captured by our sister company, Karma Hill Photography, to the pure joy and happiness they exuded, it was a magical day that they’ll never forget!

Despite the unexpected rain, it was golden hour magic for a golden couple! For their Maui Venue Wedding, Amanda and Michael said “I do” in front of the aquamarine ocean and bathed in warm sunlight. The 5 Palms set the stage as loved ones watched on from the manicured greens of the venue. The moment Amanda and Michael tied their lives together, the happiness, excitement, and pure joy were palpable! 

The Maui Venue Wedding

Set against the shore of Keawakapu Beach, the 5 Palms Restaurant was the perfect location for Amanda and Michael’s Maui Venue Wedding. With a much higher guest count capacity than a beach wedding but with the same stunning ocean view, this venue perfectly paired Amanda and Michael’s dream of marrying on the beach while having plenty of loved ones in attendance. 

Our Couple’s Story

Amanda and Michael both work in corrections, with Amanda serving as a caseworker for the Nevada Department of Corrections and Michael as a Correctional Sgt for the city jail. They met through mutual friends and bonded over their love of fantasy football and sarcasm (which, by the way, is totally *not* super adorable. #Sarcasm ;).

Together they have a Miniature Australian Shepherd, AKA their incredibly spoiled and cute furbaby! Amanda and Michael enjoy anything outdoorsy and spending time with family and friends. 

When the time was right, Michael had an incredible proposal idea, but his plans were altered due to COVID shutdowns. No problem, he rearranged and came up with plan two… which was also canceled! Finally, he decided on a simple and classically romantic proposal. Michael asked Amanda the big question in the park, and she wouldn’t have had it any other way! Maui spread out her speckled clouds and brought all the beauty for Heather and J.R.’s Venue Wedding in Hawaii! Together on the lush lawn of the 5 Palms in Wailea, our couple tied the knot with their adoring loved ones watching on. With the bridesmaids in coral and the groomsmen in suspenders, this stylish wedding is a must-see! 

The Location of the Venue Wedding in Hawaii

The 5 Palms oceanfront lawn beautifully melds the perks of a venue with the jaw-dropping backdrop of a beach wedding. With the ceremony property literally feet away from the sandy shore, Heather and J.R. were treated to the kiss of the warm Maui sun and the invigorating salty breeze of the ocean. Does it get much better than that?! Add in true love and a gorgeous couple who’s not afraid to shout in celebration, and yeah, it does! 

Our Couple’s Story

Heather is an x-ray technologist at a hospital, and J.R. is the store manager of a Valvoline instant oil change. They met at a mutual friend’s house, and if Heather had an x-ray handy that day, she would have noticed J.R.’s heart was practically leaping out of his chest! Their family has made it a tradition to visit Maui every year, so Jon knew exactly where he’d propose. During a luau on the island, Jon asked Heather to marry him. And now their story comes full circle with a Venue Wedding in Hawaii! How beautiful are these two?!

Together for seven years, Lynnsy & Ian were filled with emotion during their Maui Venue Wedding. On the manicured lawn of the 5 Palms in Wailea, guests watched on as our sweet couple did what they’ve been destined to do–join their lives and hearts through marriage. The intimate moments and cherished looks are must-sees! 

The Maui Venue Wedding

The day was slightly overcast, but when Lynnsy stepped out onto the aisle, it was as if she was lit from within, practically glowing with love! Wearing a boho-inspired gown by Sherri Hill and holding a Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet of island blooms, Lynnsy is a vision.

With the Maui tradewinds gently guiding her forward, she walked up to the love of her life, and they were both overcome with emotion. It was clear that Lynnsy and Ian aren’t only marrying the love of their life, they’re marrying their other half.

Lynnsy and Ian met in high school, but there’s some debate on exactly how long they’ve been dating. Was it the prom, or do the hangouts with friends count? All we know is there won’t be any debate on exactly how long they’ve been married! Their beautiful Maui venue wedding was one week ago to the day this blog was posted! Last year, Ian brought Lynnsy up to Mt. Davis, the highest point in Pennsylvania, and there he got down on his knee and asked her to marry him. Hunter and Eric’s Maui Micro Wedding was bright and tropical to the max! And speaking of “to the max,” it does not get much cuter than when their adorable toddler Eli made his grand entrance as “ring security”! With family in attendance, a spectacular view, and unbelievable weather, this Big Day was nothing short of amazing! 

The Maui Micro Wedding 

Sporting a suit to match his dad and sunglasses that gave him that secret service air, Eli opened the event and had the crowd giving all the “awwwws.” After Eli completed his very important mission and delivered the rings safely to dad, those “awwwws” changed to “ooooohs” as the bride made her entrance. Hunter looked spectacular in an elegant gown with floral applique and a cascading bouquet bursting with the hues of the tropics. 

Hunter visited Maui throughout her life and always knew the Magic Island was where she wanted to say “I do.” The hum of the ocean and the gentle breeze paired perfectly with the sound of the guitar, adding just the right amount of melody to a relaxing yet elegant day.

With the craziness of the pandemic, all Katherine and José wanted for their union was a relaxing and simple Maui Destination Wedding with their closest friends and family. We were thrilled to help Katherine and José turn their dream into reality all while keeping it easy and breezy, so they could just sit back and enjoy their Hawaii vacation! 

The Maui Destination Wedding Location

Overlooking the panoramic view of Keawakapu Beach, 5 Palms Restaurant is a spectacular location choice for a Maui destination wedding. With a manicured ceremonial lawn that melds the atmosphere of a beach wedding with the perks of a venue, guests like Katherine and José’s fantastic crew can watch the “I do’s” while sitting comfortably. And what a great view they had! How cute are Katherine and José’s smiles?!

Following the ceremony, Katherine and José stepped out onto the powder-soft sands to celebrate their union with gorgeous Maui Wedding Photography! 

Our Couple’s Story

Katherine and José met during their senior year in high school–in Mrs. Mendoza’s Spanish class, to be more specific. Although they were young, it was true amor, and they’ve been together now for over a decade! José works as a Biotech Sales Representative and Katherine works as an HR representative for a dermatological company in California. They have two fur babies named Simon and Sol, who they absolutely love and look forward to introducing to their future children.

Just before the world closed down in 2020, Katherine and José took a trip to Thailand. On the shore of a spectacular beach in Phuket, José asked the big question, and Katherine, of course, said yes! In her words, “It’s so special that we are getting married on the beach as well! Complete a full circle.” Keep scrolling for all the gorgeous beachy shots of this beautiful couple!

Stacie & Andy have been together for about 7 years! They were engaged here on Maui 2 years ago and knew at that point Maui was where they wanted to get married! Maui is their happy place, their paradise, and they couldn’t imagine starting their married life anywhere else! Paige and Andrew had a sweet and simple gathering for the special day! Their venue wedding in Maui took place at Five Palms Restaurant in South Kihei. It’s a beautiful spot that overlooks the beach and ocean while accommodating larger group sizes.

Five Palms on Keawekapu Beach was the perfect ceremony location for their friends and family who were able to make the trip. Their loved ones were so incredibly happy that they were able to have their dream wedding in Hawaii. Unfortunately, Andrew’s sister wasn’t able to make it in person but she stayed up till 3:00 in the morning to make sure she could be there for them on Facetime. We could hear her warm wishes and love that she was sending over the phone to them. It’s very apparent that these two not only share so much love but they are loved by so many!!

Paige & Andrew are both in the medical field. Paige is a Registered Nurse and Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner Student and Andrew is a Medical Student! We honor and thank them for everything that they have done through this pandemic. For a long time they’ve put other lives first, but today, their love comes first!

Paige was a stunning bride with a humorous and fun personality to be around. She made taking her portraits as easy as it gets, willing to be adventurous and explore the lava rock terrain. She also  communicated what was most important to her, the beach shots. We made sure to get some breathtaking wide shots and focus especially on the beautiful Maui backdrop.

Paige giggled with love every time she looked at her husband Andrew. It made for some perfect, natural smiles and moments that really captured their love for each other.

Malaya & Jarquece are first-timers to Hawaii and we can’t think of a better time to visit than for their Maui Wedding! It was a perfect afternoon for sharing nuptials along the shores of the Pacific Ocean. The sun was shining, the breeze was light, and their close family and friends were in attendance to share in the moment with them! It was so important to them to give their families a different experience for their wedding and bringing them to Maui was just that!

Malaya & Jarquece are high school sweethearts. They knew each other for a few years and became close friends before they actually started dating. It became clear to Jarquece that he wanted Malaya to be his princess forever. He proposed to her back in 2018 on a trip to Miami for her birthday. These two seem to enjoy the warmer, tropical weather, and we’re so glad they decided on Maui for their wedding.

This gorgeous couple chose 5 Palms, which sits right in front of Keawekapu Beach. It’s really the best of both worlds because you can enjoy an intimate ceremony with your close family and friends, then walk right out to the beach for pictures. We really enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know their sweet family! We hope you enjoy the pictures of their special wedding day.

Malaya looked absolutely stunning and she took Jarquece’s breath away as she walked down the aisle to him. Jarquece was looking pretty dapper himself in his maroon suit, Louis Vuitton belt, and white sneakers! Loving the unique style here!!

This Maui sunset was one for the record books on Malaya & Jarquece’s Maui wedding day. The purples and oranges painted across the sky created an epic backdrop for their couple’s portraits.
